Aura walked along the wet grass, enjoying the feeling of the cool water under the pads of his feet. He always enjoyed hunting when it was cool outside, the prey always relaxing more so they were easier to catch. The little pups all followed along, eager to start their first hunt. That was, however, until a bright pink wolf came into view. The pups watched in interest as the wolf walked up to Aura, hesistated, and backed up into another wolf. A few snickers came across the pups as they watched, causing Aura to shoosh them. He watched in confusion as the wolf ran away, turning to look at the younger ones beside him.
"Why did that wolf just run away Aura?""I have no idea.."the blue-grey wolf answered, shaking his head as he head the pups onward on their hunt. It was successful, most of the pups walking with heads held high and a small rabbit in their mouth. A few lagged behind, saddened that they hadn't caught anything but Aura continued to reassure them.
"It's alright little ones, your time will come. Not everyone gets one on their first try!" He brought the pups to outside where he assumed Kai's den was, leaving a fresh rabbit outside the hole for him to find.
"That was really nice of you Aura" a little female pup said shyly.
"Well, sometimes other wolves need a little help, so it is up to us to help them." With that they left, Aura taking the pups back to their family's dens to visit.
