Okay, so WHERE HAVE I BEEN!? I mean, really.... All this time. All the manga and anime and I'd never read a Light Novel before. Heck I'd never seen a light novel before!

So, the reason I'm bringing this up is because a while ago I ordered a book from Barnes and Noble. The book in question was volume 1 of The Rising of the Shield Hero. I ordered this book thinking it was the manga that I've been reading online, but when it showed up it was a book. An actual book. Words, lots of words. 200+ pages, 20+ chapters, book!

Anyway, At first I was a little skeptical, but I went ahead and decided to read it and needless to say it was pretty much the manga, but with more detail and some additional event. Even more needless to say, I loved it! It took me 2 days to read the whole book and then I ended up ordering 2 more volumes in the following weeks and finishing them in the same manner.

But, now onto my main point here....After reading this, I've become somewhat obsessed with Light Novels and have even ordered a few other titles.
So, what I want to ask is this:
Have you read any light novels? Do you have any favorites?
