EARLY CHILDHOOD Aurora has always been a dreamer. She loves to read, write and imagine. Her favorite types of books have always been ancient history or fantasy novels with magic, wizards, elves and that sort of thing.
She started reading at the young age of 5, and this is in part due to the fact her father is a collage history teacher and her mother is an archeologist.
When not reading, Aurora loved to go on digs with her mother, much preferring seeing and hearing the stories first hand then learning about them in school. She also always had a fondness for hearing her father give 'oral histories' of the cultures he studies to her, and to her hearing her father speak with passion in his voice made the stories come alive for her.
Aurora always loved to imagine what the world would be like if magic did exist. As she grew older She started to find herself wanting to learn from the mages or dragons in the stories she read rather then wanting to fight them or be rescued from them like others her age.
From time to time she would get so into pretending she would try a 'spell' and as she got older she would find herself trying harder and harder to make them work, but alas only when she was feeling a very strong emotion did her powers show up in unexpected way she didn't even try for.
Aurora's parents saw no harm in her believing in magic and the overall good it would be if the world had it, they honestly thought she would grow out of the 'fantasy phase' as they called it.
But when on the night of Aurora's 11th birthday a governess from Hogwarts arrived to give her the letter to Hogwarts and explain about the magical world she would be invited to join.. Aurora ended up crying from happiness glad her belief was proven real as she got ready to head to diagon alley with her parents and soon start on her new adventure...
