Azriel stared at his bedroom wall feeling his heart ache with the longing for a family. He never knew his family or why he was orphaned by his mother or father, maybe even both, this caused his insecurity in life. his wall was currently blank and had no pictures, drawings or even trinkets, though the material possessions didn't matter to him the empty hole in his life took an effect on him often, he was worried about getting through life on his own as he could only get so much help from the caretakers at the Academy. His thoughts were often deep and thought out. He soon curled up in to a fetal position with his bunny plush close to his body, this brought him some comfort in his solitary time in the room he was given. " i want a family or some one... i don't want to be alone. " He said to his bunny plush feeling like he could cry but he took a deep breath trying to remain strong .There were many nightmares and daydreams like him who never had a family and had great success in life. He wanted to be as strong as them. he got up and left his room keeping his bunny plush close to him as he wondered around the hall trying to stay out of everyone's way. He watched the brothers, sisters and friends going to class together or even hanging out together in between classes, he envied them for being able to have family and friends. The thought of having some one to run to in life, when he was sad or needed help with homework and love him for who he was. was a comforting thought for him. He quickly buried his face in his sweater as he tried not to cry. He didn't really have anyone to guide him. he pulled out some hard candy from his pocket as he began to unwrap it , plopping the sweet fruit flavored treat in to his mouth , fruit drops were one of his favorite candies and brought him much comfort.
After a while of wondering in the halls gazing at the passerby and the decorated walls he stopped dead in his tracks, he saw a flyer on the wall for a big sibling program. His eyes widened as it was hard for him to read but he noticed the word sibling and the location of the place it was held, he quickly ran off to the room and went to the nearest adult nightmare asking even pleading with them to let him sign up, this was the first time he was so hyper in anticipation with anything. " I want a big sibling. please! I need one!" he said to the nightmare that took care of the program, when he was finally signed up for the program he asked if he could find someone now. He was soon given a book listing all the junior and senior nightmare and daydream looking for a freshling to care for. He looked threw it carefully and looked at everyone while he was helped with reading the information on the page. he eventually found a pink geist who was in to cooking and very nice, this made him very happy, " she likes cooking too!" he exclaimed with joy reading her name. " Bibiana ..." He had never felt so happy aside from eating delicious foods. he would finally have the chance at getting a family. even if they were not related by blood, he knew in his heart he wanted her to be his big sister.
