"Know your place..."
『Rothar』
Rothar crouched in the dense foliage, his green eyes locked onto the target. He was silent and still as the grave as he waited patiently for the young doe to get just a little bit closer. He knew all too well that even though it was small it would make up for it in speed. This wasn't the easiest target to take down without a pack behind him. However, his ego demanded he hunt the meal that was worthy of him, which means he went hungry often. But no one would ever catch the proud alpha male admitting he was wrong on the matter no matter how loudly his belly grumbled.
A slight rustle in the brush on the opposite side of the brush caused the dear to lift its head to look around, ears swiveling to to listen for potential danger. Rothar's eyes didn't move from the deer but his claws dug into the soft earth. He could smell the sent of another Varsythe and he would not have his meal taken from him. The instant the deer lowered its head back to the grasses Rothar launched into action in a streak of withe and read. The dear started and the took off and the chase began.
"Or I will show it to you."
