Lenka felt the feeling of a youma slinking around somewhere nearby…as well as the feeling of someone from the Negaverse slinking around as well. She had been minding her own business, looking for Caedus, and instead she found…this. Well, it wasn’t a bad trade off…she did like fighting and killing youma…and well.
She could always find Caedus later.
With a new spring in her step the Senshi of Watermelons made her way to where she felt the auras, and felt a small bit of surprise that they were together, and it wasn’t just a youma in one place and a captain in the other. Oh well. She would still go for the youma first…it was the easier of the two people. So.
So when she saw the same awful captain she had fought before her joy turned almost at once to anger, and when she saw the creepy as hell dark youma next to him, the anger began turning to revulsion. “Disgusting creature.” She spat, eyes on the two of them.
“Lenka Boomarind!” She shot a watermelon rind right at the youma. It was time to be dusted you stupid freak.

Evan had been minding his own business—at least, sort of. Sanidine was scracthing his chin, too distracted to realize that the senshi had snuck up on him. He was trying ot think of where to go—who to talk to. How to figure out what to do to help Evan.
He didn't even realize she was there until he heard her cast her Boomarind—and by then, Evan had already bristled and was trying to run away.
He was too slow, though the rind hit him right in the face. The youma let out a startled little noise and backed up, two hands covering his face. It's eyes narrowed briefly at the senshi, with clear disgust and anger, but it just shrank down and rubbed frantically at its now injured face.
Sanidine spun suddenly and shouted a harsh, "Hey," summoning his sword.
"Back the <********> off, girl. You leave him the hell alone or I'll slice you open."

Lenka didn’t even worry about pausing. She held her hand out towards the Captain…Sanidine, and smirked. “Oh shut up, a*****e. Lenka Binding Boomarind!” The rind went right for his middle, and hopefully it would remove any use of that squiggle sword he had for a good few seconds. More than long enough for her to dust the youma.
She didn’t even bother to see if her attack had landed, already taking a running leap at the youma and punching it square in spot she had hit it with her first attack, and after that blow was dealt she raised a pink booted foot and brought it crashing into the ugly black creatures midsection.
“I hate youma. I hate the Negaverse. I hate. Chaos. I want you all. To die.”
She kicked again, hoping that that would be that. One less monster to run loose in the world. One less terror for people to deal with.

Her attack incapacitated Sanidine for just long enough that he got to stare in horror as she leaped towards Evan—and he exploded into a puff of dust.
Sanidine's blood went cold and his face was white as bone. His eyes were wide and he just stopped breathing.
He couldn’t move—even when her boomerang released him. His mind had stopped—frozen on the look of horrified terror on Evan's face.
He hadn't even fought. Stupid ******** Evan—the shell of a person he'd been, trapped in some youma's body—hadn't even fought. He'd just stared up at her as her foot collided into him, and he'd disappeared in a poof of dust.
Not even a body left behind.
Sanidine's heart felt like a hundred tiny little needles were piercing it, and they spread from his insides to his outsides and suddenly he couldn’t think about anything but making Lenka bleed.
"You b***h," he whispered; he couldn’t bring his voice to be anything louder.
There were no words for her—he ran at her, bringing his sword down, hard. He wanted to cut her to little pieces—wanted her to blood out, slow. But he couldn’t think about anything else, and he still couldn't breathe.
Just think about her. Just think about hurting her, and he couldn't think about Evan.

Oh. Oh this captain like the little piece of filth that she had dusted. That was interesting. “What, was that youma your little lover? Are you into soulless beasts like some freak? God, I knew the Negaverse was ******** up, but I didn’t realize it was that bad!” She snickered and jumped back away from the sword.
He kept coming at her though, and she kept trying to move as best she could…but damn. He was quite vicious. “Are you that upset over a youma? Jeeze! Give it up! It’s dead. Dead. Dead. Dead. Argh!” Lenka let out a yelp as Sanidine’s sword finally made a nice little cut in her arm. “Damnit, that hurt!”
She clasped one hand over the injury and she continued moving away, wondering if she was even going to make it out of here.

The sight of blood was almost enough to make Sanidine forget that she'd just destroyed Evan. As Lenka backed away he stepped forward, intent on fulfilling his promise. "It doesn't matter what he is, it mattered what he was. He could have been saved," he insisted, thought there was no evidence, and emotions ruled him.
He'd gotten it in his mind that there was no way he could have messed up. That there had to have been some way he could save Evan. That this was a temporary problem and not a permanent mistake.
He couldn’t accept his own failures—this was all because of Cavansite, and now Evan was dead because of this one.
"Maybe I'll show you what it's like," he said, voice trembling. "Maybe you can be my new youma. Maybe you'll actually fight when someone tries to hurt you!"
He tried again, stepping forward and slashing wildly at the air. There was no tact to his method; he'd rather throw her to the ground and beat her into dust.
But she wasn't a youma, and he wasn't thinking.

It wasn’t often that Lenka got scared anymore. It wasn’t often that she lost her whole, ‘I’m so much better than you, bow before me’ attitude…but this guy. This guy didn’t have any filter. He had no sanity right now. He was just a great big ball of vicious anger…and she was his target.
Well. She might die here. That was a disgusting thought, and for a second, that is what consumed her. Her breath came out in short gasps and her pupils dilated, while her blood seemed to freeze in her veins.
No. No that was stupid. She wasn’t going to die. She wasn’t going to become his new youma? What was he even talking about? It didn’t really matter…what did matter was the fact that whatever style of swordplay he was trying to use right now sucked, and he was leaving himself open more than he was managing to get close to her…so in one of those openings, she lifted her foot and delivered a kick that had all of the power she could muster, right to his chest.
When that was done. She ran. She ran like hell and didn’t bother to look back to see if he was following.
Negaverse agents were absolutely insane.

Lenka's kick hit him, hard, in the chest; it didn't knock him over but it was enough to force the lungs from his chest—enough to send him stumbling backwards.
She was gone by the time he could breathe again, and her energy signature was barely anything on his radar. The sword dropped from his hand, and a moment later he dropped to his knees.
His head was spinning and everything hurt—not because Lenka had physically hurt him, but because his world felt like it had just stopped.
Years ago, he'd told Evan he'd protect them.
That was their arrangement. That was the deal.
Before, he thought he'd had a chance of making this okay.
Now, it didn't seem like it.
He screamed, in frustration, and anger—picked up his sword and got to his feet.
He chased after the senshi, but he didn't find her. He didn't find anyone.
