Aleksy ached all over, but it was the good kind of ache, where he wanted to stretch out just to feel his muscles pull. That was an enormous change from the Aleksy of some ten hours ago, who had been a shaking wreck of a person two steps from a nervous breakdown. He felt Finn get up from the bed, but barely woke enough to wiggle himself into the warm spot left behind by his boyfriend's body. The sun was shining in through the window, warming Aleksy's exposed shoulder, slanting through cabernet-red hair, and he felt... safe. At peace.

He pushed himself up to lean against the wall behind his bed when Finn settled on the edge of the bed. "Not hungry so much as achey," said Aleksy, but he accepted the offered food anyway and made a strong attempt to pull Finn over to him. He rested his head against Finn's shoulder once he'd bullied his boyfriend into place as his pillow and closed his eyes. "You should eat, too, Finneshka." Aleksy poked his poached egg with the tines of his fork, watched the yolk ooze down over the rest of the sandwich.

"Much better," said Aleksy, generally making a mess of his half of the muffin. He was eating it, though, so that was progress, right? Aleksy separated out a bite of his hollandaise-lox-egg yolk-muffin monstrosity and ate it, chased it down with the orange juice. "My throat hurts, little." It took a lot of effort to be silent, sometimes, but the sex had been so good he didn't really mind.

He leaned over and kissed Finn on the cheek, scrubbed a hand over Finn's stubble. "You're scratchy," he said. "Remember to shave today." Like that was even really a concern. Neither of them was going anywhere. "Did you sleep well?"

Aleksy nodded. "I'll shave your face as you sleep," he said. He didn't dignify the offer of tea with a response, just continued to work his way methodically through his eggs benedict until he had cleared his half of the plate. "I have to shower," he said, but he was setting aside the orange juice and snuggling back under the covers. "I have to open the shop. Jeremiah will be back and there is much to do..."

He set his head in Finn's lap and was silent.

Aleksy mumbled something into the covers, and let Finn pull him back up. "'Kay," he said, leaning in to press little kisses along the long muscles of Finn's throat. "Thank you. I would like that." He could lift his arms... probably... if he had to. But it'd be nice to be taken care of, which was odd, since Aleksy was normally so fiercely independent, so against others seeing him completely nude.

He wrapped his arms around Finn's neck and settled there, drowsy and calm, like a well-loved housecat.

"Mm," agreed Aleksy. He certainly was ********. Sitting down would, doubtless, present several separate problems, all of them ignored in favor of yessss good. He got to his feet at Finn's gentle nudging. "Today is... Sunday? Monday?"

It wasn't very clear in Aleksy's memory how long he might have been asleep. He leaned into Finn for a moment before going to collect towels for the shower, two of the softest he had.

Aleksy paused and settled down on the edge of the tub, wincing as he did. "It is? ... Hm. I knew that." He tipped his face up and gestured Finn over for kisses. "I suppose the forest must be staffed at all times," he mumbled. "How regrettable. People should try not getting lost for just one day..."

"Mm," agreed Aleksy. "Thus enabling your eventual descent into absentee fatherhood." ... Wait, bear molestation? Aleksy's eyebrows stooped low over his eyes, brow furrowing. His frown was truly legendary. Surely Americans weren't that stupid... but sometimes he was still surprised.

Aleksy shook his head. "Shut up and wash my hair," he said, smiling just a little.
