Sedna actually liked hanging around the junkyard---even if Oberon thought it was dangerous or something.

Not only was it neat to explore, it was also just a good place, she thought, to test her abilities, practice, and train as a senshi without garnering too much public attention. Ever since a string of not so great encounters (awful, actually, if she was honest) Sedna had taken to training herself even more. She needed it. She needed to get stronger, to be able to protect innocent people, her friends, and herself. She'd been leaping over some piles of rusted and crushed cars when she felt it. Another Order signature.

It caught her off guard, and in the middle of vaulting over a car's hood, she missed, and ended up face planting and skidding around the ground. "Oops---" She landed in a heap of limbs, but immediately sprung to her feet, righting her hat. It was a basic level---so it couldn't be Oberon! Sedna took off in the direction of the signature, and once she was close enough, she hailed:

"Hellooooooo?"

New frand.

As locations went, Aue favoured the junkyard. Actually, Pasi favoured it and it just suited him to use it as Aue as well: it was secluded, people rarely went there, and he could often find parts for his tinkering.

So it wasn't odd that he was there. What was odd was that when he powered up in said junkyard, he immediately felt another white moon aura and let loose a low rain of Finnish expletives. What is my luck these days? ********> It was almost as though having a powered form made you instantly become some sort of causality magnet.

The other signature - as they all, invariably seemed to - began drawing closer and Aue cursed his luck. And the drawn out feminine voice calling greeting. No doubt he'd be expected to a) be friendly b) reciprocate and c) blindly follow the White Moon...none of which was part of his repertoire. More small talk, I am sure. Ugh. But wait, maybe I can use this to an advantage - it is a good opportunity to gather information for the General and his team.

Still, he tried to put a neutral expression on as the woman came close, her odd costuming even worse than his own. "Hei hei." Aue had only meant to say "hey" but the short Finnish greeting came out automatically. Dammit.

The cool thing about other uniforms was that she could sometimes make an educated guess as to what the other's magic was. With this senshi---she had a feeling it was Lemons. Just a feeling. It was an interesting magic! Sedna's expression was already bright with curiosity, but her smile widened as she heard the thick accented voice. She was meeting so many diverse people!

"Hey!" She greeted with a grin once she was close enough, coming to a stop as she raised her hand. "Awesome to see another senshi out here! Your costume is really cool! I'm going to venture that your magic has to do with lemons? What are you up to?" She lowered her hand, only to thrust it out to him to shake.

"I'm Sedna! Sensei of Ships!"

Unlike Sedna, Aue had no wont or care to determine what another's sphere was. She could have been the senshi of superfluous hats and he would have felt the same - very few things would have gotten more interest out of the brunet. Maybe the senshi of weed...or technology. Something like that.

She had this...expectant, happy labrador expression on her face that Aue found disturbing the way he found morning people disturbing. And then, she opened her mouth and forever earned herself a spot on his "avoid at all costs" list. Smalltalk. Someone kill me now.

He didn't know how he was going to put up with this, at all. Rapid-fire words and questions that he didn't want to answer, but would. Because he had a job to do. "Likewise." Good start, keep going. "It does, and I am called Aue." He took her hand and allowed only two short pumps before letting go and crossing his arms over his chest, lest she try to touch his hands again.

"Ships? That is a very interesting thing, do you summon a ship then?" Sedna of Ships. He'd remember this. "Also, why are you in the junkyard, Sedna-of-Ships? This can be a dangerous place." Actually, it was fairly safe as long as you didn't try walking across the newer piles of junk, but he wanted her to find it less suitable as a location so he would have it to himself.

Did he sound as short to her as he did to himself? I hope not, if I'm to learn more about her for Labyrinthite.

Unfortunately for Aue, even if he thought he was being short, he had already given her plenty of encouragement in his words and gestures. He was far welcoming on the first meeting than some people (cough with a Russian accent cough). "Nice to meet you, Aue!" Sedna planted her hands on her hips after shaking his, and nodded a bit.

"Kinda! I summon a little fleet of ships, actually, but it's a magic spell that affects how my opponents feel. It makes them they like they're on a sinking ship! Oh!" She looked around, grinning. "Training! There's not a lot of people out here, yeah? It also makes a great obstacle course!" She laughed a bit. "Man, other people have said that as well, but---" She waved a hand. "It's fiiiiine! How about you? What are you doing out here, and how long have you been a senshi for?"

He had no idea just how boned he truly was, where Sedna was concerned; there was no way for him to know that not only was she quite optimistic in general, she was experienced dealing with super-grumpy foreign men. Nice to meet me? Not by choice, woman. If I did not need you to like me for the General, I would throw you into a barrel and bury you head first in the junk. A tic started at the corner of his right eye.

"A fleet." The mental image contained toy boats floating at a faceless enemy's head like some cartoon. Further explanation brought clarity, which made more sense. "Ah, that makes sense." So it was more about a sensation than the actual visualizations shown by the magic. But then there were more excited words coming at him rapid-fire as Sedna continued on about why she was at the junkyard and all that.

Parts. I tinker. Aue could have said this...instead he chose another reason, "It is a good place to avoid people, to learn limits. I have not been a senshi long." The next part caused his eye tic to worsen, "Have you been one long yourself?"

"Um---" Sedna counted off on her fingers. "Ah! Yeah! Almost five months now." She grinned a bit. "Not a super long time---I've met other senshi who've been around a few years at least! Seems pretty mind boggling!"

There was only a small pause before Sedna launched into her barrage of questions. "Have you visited your space rock yet?" She tilted her head, pointing up at the sky. "I can only imagine what the home world of Lemons looks like!" Her grin widened. "Actually, that'd be really cool to see!" The senshi gushed, just letting her imagination run wild.

Five months...she knows nothing of use in that time, I imagine. "Years? They must be very strong then." He tried to will the tic away, "Five months is plenty of time to learn some useful skills, no?"

Her questions came in a flood that assaulted his senses, but he parsed them and knew he must address at least some of her curiousity if they were going to move into a territory where she'd trust him. "I have not, I saw no point. Perhaps I should? Have you been to Sedna then?"

I hope not every senshi is like this, or I may just ask Labyrinthite to take my star seed and be done with it...

"I think so!" Sedna grimaced, tapping her chin. "Some of them though...they don't always go out an patrol so..." She gave a bit of a helpless shrug, and then nodded. "Yeah! I still have a lot to learn, but I'm definitely picking stuff up---and I'm training with a military man, too!" She gave him a fox eyed grin. "So I'm definitely learning all the useful stuff!"

Sedna blinked, looking a bit surprised. "No point?" She echoed. She hadn't heard that before. "Well...I mean...it's your's...aren't you even the least bit curious? Do you know how to get to it?" At the question, she nodded her head. "Ah, yes! I have! Only once so far, but I have! It's...really amazing, honestly---to know you're so far away from Earth and that it's yours---" She paused for a moment, her black eyes seeming distant before she snapped back to.

"But there's something kind of...melancholy and eerie about it, as well." Sedna replied in earnest. "There's no one there."

Aue nodded as she spoke, mentally imagining all the ways he'd like to shut her - and people like her - up. For good. "I didn't patrol at first." So not everyone is as gung-ho as this woman is to be murdered or broken against the Negaverse war machine. Smart, I suppose. Little nuggets of information, handed out with no concern or care that he might be a sleeper agent, or a turn-coat. Where all of the order folks as trusting as Sedna? If so, it was no wonder they were being driven off a proverbial cliff to their doom.

"Good, good. Military types often have advanced training. I think we need more of that. It is...unbecoming to squabble and flail like idiots in front of our enemies."

The white-haired woman seemed slightly taken aback, if her expression and tone were anything to measure by. I surprised her, is it common then, for senshi to want to visit the desiccated remains of what was once their home-world? "I read the Primer, so in theory yes. But I am uncertain I want to visit a graveyard of past failures when the pressing problem is right here." Naturally, he meant her and those like her, but Aue knew that she would take him to mean the Negaverse threat on planet Earth.

"Perhaps I will go to Aue, eventually. I am in no hurry - it's not going anwyhere." A flash of teeth, an attempt at a smile. Sedna was full of interesting information. "I find the idea of seeing other planets...interesting. It's not something I can do without another person, correct? Visiting say, your planet? I would require your guidance."
