Zenobia had been considering having a child of her own for quite some time, but the biggest roadblock she'd been coming across was the fact that she didn't really have a desire to have a partner involved in it all. She wanted to be the parent of a child, but she was struggling with whether or not that child could be happy with a single mother like herself. After some careful reflecting of her own childhood, raised by a single father, she realized it certainly could be done. She'd been happy to have her father all to herself. Surely if she was a good enough mother, her child could be happy as well. There wasn't any reason to doubt herself!
A child would bring that extra life to her shop. She was eager to raise herself and apprentice, one that could handle her magic and would love to travel with her. She couldn't be gone from home as often as she liked at first, but in the course of a lifetime it would be well worth the investment. Her home was no where near child proof however, so she had to set about fixing those problems as first. Hm, the challenge of having a home and your work all in the same building. It could be done however!
Zenobia spent another couple of months doing her research and preparing her home. She planned to close shop for just a few weeks once the stone was awakened, and so she had to let her regulars know (not that she had that many). Then it was off to get a stone to imbue!
