Video Games: If Nick could get away with just playing video games all day, he would love that. RPG, 1st person shooter, fighting...it doesn’t matter. He has nearly every system and is willing to try any game once. The people at the local gaming store know him by name and expect that he will be there upon the release of any big title game.

Military Fiction: Yes, fiction. It isn’t that non-fiction bores him but Nick wants a story to go along with all those facts, dates, and explosions. Over all though, he’s truly interested in the stories that focus on the strategies of war and the people behind said plans. While there is no way in the world Nick would run off to join the army (too many rules), he still enjoys the history behind it.

Building Models: When stuck on a boss that just won’t go down, Nick takes a break by working on his models. Tanks, buildings, planes, even animals. He enjoys them all and finds the closer they are to the real thing, the more effort he puts into them. However, if they require painting, that part never gets done. He tried it once and it ruined the beautiful metal that he had struggled so hard to line up perfectly. So while some may see them as unfinished, to Nick, they are perfect.

Virtues:
Trustworthy: Nick is the type of guy anyone could trust. As the person who seems to melt into the shadows, he is able to keep many secrets and is the one friend who will show up when someone calls. His few friends are the ones who he wants to see happy so he tries to ensure they can count on him...unless it comes to blows. Good luck then!

Quick-Thinking: Nick’s brain goes a mile-a-minute when it comes to solving problems and contemplating situations which require a quick decision. He is very good on his feet and can navigate most high stress, high pace situations with very little loss of his cool. Useful in both video games and finishing homework that’s due in an hour.

Patient: Patience is something Nick has in multiple spades. It’s imperative to have to get through some of these video games, but really, it comes out most when he’s working on his models. You can’t rush the delicate work that is required in sanding and assembling each piece so that it fits exactly right with each other. Still, his ability to be patient runs over into his normal day-to-day life as well, as he’s willing to wait a bit longer than most if people are running behind.

Flaws:
Non-confrontational: Nick believes that discretion is the better part of valor. That means that if something were to come to blows, he would rather run away to live and fight another day. It’s not that he’s a complete pushover, he’ll stand up for himself if that’s what it takes to get out of a situation alive. But really, that’s a last resort as he when he is faced with a choice that traps him in a place that he cannot talk his way out of or gets so hostile there is no reasoning with the person.

Wallflower: Nick tends to chose to fade into the background at social gatherings. As such as possible, Nick tends to avoid most social gatherings, even those of close friends, since he knows people are just going to look right through him and walk right by him like he’s not even there. Makes playing video games in the corner easier.

Lazy: A staple of the young, teenage male, Nick has has very, very bad habit of putting things off until they are absolutely necessary. Homework? The day it’s due is fine! Cleaning his room? Ehhhhh, he’ll get to it just after he beats this next boss.. Just give him a minute to save and… Oh oops, instant action scene! Guess that mess will have wait!

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION - Hot Nerd

Eyes and Face: Reference
A bit of a baby face with light green eyes. He wears glasses that pull the old ‘is he hot or not?’ question from ladies. They are black rimmed.

Hair: Reference.
Dark brown and bouncy. No products. It naturally has that much body.

Clothes: Comfort is key. Jeans, hoodies, t-shirts. Anything that he can pick up out of the mound of clean clothes and wear.

Bodytype: Thin, small-framed, built like a sprinter. He has abs and a V

Hey Sirene!

A few small crits -- overall Nicholas looks fine, but I'm having some trouble with his "Loyal" and "Non-Confrontational" traits.

In "Loyal" you say he will stand up for the people he cares about, but in "Non-Confrontational" it seems pretty clear he hates conflict -- is he emboldened by caring about the people he's loyal to and that's what lets him stand up?

Also, "Non-Confrontational" in general feels a bit weak as a flaw; does Nick go along with things he doesn't really want to do just to avoid conflict? Also, how bad do things have to be before he stands up for himself?

Clarifying stuff, really, and then he'll be stampable~
