Grimacing he trod through the underbrush of the thinning woods and he tossed his head slightly as he chased a mouse. His plan was to catch it and tear it's tail off and perhaps bring it back to his siblings and see what fun they would have with it. Of course he would never do such a thing when their father was around. Learning from eve her wicked game of manipulation, his siblings and himself were quite the masterminds when it came to playing along with mommy dearest and her innocent damsel routine. Narcissus wasn't sure how deep the evil ran through their blood, but he did have a bit of a nasty streak if the mood struck him.
Like right now for instance. There was no reason for him to be chasing this mouse through the woods, yet here he was. He had no Kalona or walker blood within his veins yet he had the urge to hunt down a little rodent for his own twisted amusement. It's not like his siblings were going to judge him and there wasn't anyone around to protest it either. Growing bored he finally gave up chase and gazed around curiously. Where was he exactly? His tail swished back and forth slightly as he took in the sights around him. His nostrils flared as he caught scent of some unfamiliar equines. This struck his interest and made his curiosity grow.
With a toss of his head he made up his mind and decided to seek out the owners of the scent. The only other foals he knew were his siblings, perhaps whomever he was smelling was his age and would provide him with some entertainment. The mouse had only grabbed his attention for a small amount of time, at least if he had other foals to manipulate he'd be busy for hours. With a nod of his head his mind was made up and he looked about for the owners of the smells.
The one thing he was certain of was that they weren't related to him by any means, there wasn't anything familiar to it at all. It smelled peculiar and interested him a great deal. It would likely strike most as odd that a Kirin-Unicorn mix didn't feel the need to heal or help others. Though partially, no. In all reality it was due to his mother. His siblings knew exactly what he was talking about too, or rather thinking about. Their father was so clueless, it made him wonder why she stuck with him. He was so gullible it was almost sickening. Though his mother was a wiley sort of minx and his siblings and himself were just like her. At least so she said they were going to be. Shaking the thoughts of his mother from his mind he returned to his search for the owners of the foreign smell. WC: 481

Takemikazuchi was with his siblings, they were playing in the forest. It was something they often did. He looked around the forest, it would seem he had wandered slightly ahead of his brother and sister. He waited a moment for them to catch up. His tail flicked idly when he looked around to figure out what was around him. He gently pawed at the ground. His eyes narrowed as he looked into the shadows of the forest. He was the fluffiest and the oldest of his siblings, and perhaps he might have had the worst temper. It was something he was picking up from their father. His ears twiched as he heard a noise from the underbrush. He turned his attention to the brush as a small mouse ran through the brush. It would seem it had been running from something. He watched it idly as it ran by. He wasn't concerned about a mouse and didn't see a need to be bothered by it. There were other things that would indeed symbolize trouble, but a mouse wasn't one of them. He sniffed at the air, and this was when the scent of another reached his nostrils. His eyes narrowed into a glare once more. It would seem they were getting company. Their father would not be happy with this. A low growl emitted from his throat and he turned to stand at the ready. He was going to be prepared for anyone or anything that managed to come through the forest towards him. After all, he was nothing if not prepared. He may be a foal, and still learning from his father and mother, but he wasn't stupid. His tail flicked in agitation as he waited for his siblings to catch up to him, and for this unseen threat to become known. He waited for the perfect moment, one where he could find out if the approaching thing was friend or foe. It didn't matter to him one way or the other, friends were not to be counted upon for anything. After all what use was there in having friends, when you just needed to be stronger than the next person. Not that he didn't want friends, but he was perfectly fine with just his family by his side. He didn't need anyone else. They would all just be a hindrance to him and his family. He heard the sound of paws behind him and turned his head for a moment to see his Sister Hanako, and his Brother Tamotsu come out from the shadows behind him. He nodded to them, and then turned his attention back to the forest in front of them. "It would seem we are going to have company..." He said to his siblings. He waited to see what would come from the forest. Now was the waiting game that he was sure wouldn't last long.

Hanako figured the day was going to be a rather peaceful one by the way it started. After all, their days since emerging from their whicker hideaway where not all that different. They spent their time bonding and, at times, participating in lessons from their parents when it came to family rules and acts of survival. Tamo, however, to Hanako’s, and she was sure Take’s as well, annoyance, had yet to begin his lessons in flight. They were just going to have to push him even further. Perhaps she could persuade Take to find a nice rock or hill to Tamo could…”practice” a bit before taking lessons. That is…if they could find him!
“Tch, of course Take would insist on taking the lead and running off ahead of us. He is just lucky the forest is not so confusing, or that we are not ditching him, unless…you want to, Tamo.”
She grinned without looking over at the youngest of the trio, and something told her that her little brother most likely would not agree with ditching their older brother to go off and do whatever. Especially since, to this point anyway, it seemed as if Take and she were the more mischievous of the two. It was then that the young filly caught sight of a mouse running down the unmarked path in a panic.
“What?” she asked to no one in particular as she moved to trap the small creature by its tail.
What could have possibly sent the creature into such a panic? She could not hear anything coming their way, so whatever was chasing it, if anything, was not following. And it did not sound like anything of interest was happening in the immediate area.
“Take?” Hanako called out while continuing in the direction of the older foal. Before she could even question him she got her answer. So, someone else was in the area after all. Interesting. At least it could make for some nice entertainment, if they played their cards right anyway.
“Should one of us go back to fetch father, or shall we…greet the stranger ourselves? I mean, it would be rude if we did not introduce ourselves, right? One must be polite and all. What do you think, Tamo?”
It is always best to ask the more rational one in the group what their opinion is, right? Plus, if anything were to go wrong at least Tamo could not say he did not know about anything or…participate in some way, correct? Correct.
Still, Hanako really want to meet this stranger, if only to find out what he or she was in their territory. They could not know an entire family was living here…and if they did not, well, idiot….

While he looked cute and friendly those weren't exactly traits he would say were a strong suit of his. The mouse was long gone at this point, or so he had thought and he walked through the dense brush to see some rather peculiar looking foals. The pawed feet were the thing that was most curious to him, he was aware that usually only pure walkers had paws but they were missing the pelts upon their backs. This was interesting to him.
"Hello."
He watched them, his tail flicking behind him as he looked between one and then the other. He was a great deal out numbered but that didn't phase him. He was confident enough he could handle his own if this turned to be that they weren't nice, not that he was unfamiliar with mean personalities. Manipulative would be the best way to put it, his mother was exceedingly manipulative and he often saw her in action with their father quite a bit. It was entertaining to say the least.
"I'm Narcissus, what are your names?"
Might as well play the nice card for a bit. WC: 188
