Labyrinthite had decided that the time had come for him to call upon the lemon senshi though doing so was trickier than he would have liked. The situation would be resolved after this meeting, because the general had purchased a burner phone that he intended on giving to Aue so that he could contact him in all forms.
It was simply a matter of finding lemons and distributing the phone.
The reaper man stood perched upon a rooftop with a raven youma by his side, it's six wings folded against it's body, and three sets of red eyes blinking separately so it was never not looking. Begrudgingly the youma allowed the general to fix a message to one of it's legs, preening itself as he attached the paper.
"He should be prepared to hear from me," he stated, arching his brows at the raven.
It'd been frustrating, coaxing this particular youma to agree. He had been tempted to simply summon one and send it out, but the quality of said youma would vary and this one he knew at least respected him and was intelligent.
"Lemons," it said in an airy voice. "Yellow and white, brown hair. I'll find him." It sounded certain, spreading all six wings and taking off into the air.
Labyrinthite watched as it took off, until it disappeared into the black of the inky night sky. He had no doubt that Aue would be found and that he would come, the address of the building written on the scrap of paper saying you've been summoned with a little scythe drawn messily in the corner.
Lemons would come when he called, or there would be consequences.

Having to spend more time powered was a b***h. Aue was not happy about this, but he'd made his decision as a man and he would keep to it; so he waited for contact and - as a result of having been powered up more often (even if he kept to sparsely populated locations as much as humanly possible) he'd been far more active and run into more of those dust monsters. The senshi was sitting on a rooftop (they were so useful) and drinking a bottle of water when he felt a chaos signature approaching. With a sigh he capped his water and stood, eyes narrowed to try and catch a glimpse of what was coming for him - he just forgot to look at the sky. So the youma was right up on him before he noticed it. Avian!? There are flying ones? That's bullshit! It had six wings and landed near him, beak clacking open and closed, open and closed. He would have cast on it immediately but a word came through the air just before he summoned his magic. "Lemons."The word - and the fact that it wasn't trying to attack him straight off - made him drop his fists. "That's me." It turned, offering him it's leg but keeping eyes glowing with hate focused on him the whole time. Aue could tell it wanted very badly to attack, to tear and rend, but it was on a mission. From Labyrinthite. The General's summons. Warily the white moon senshi took the paper and fixative from the monster, hissing as it couldn't help but peck at his hands. "Your restraint is notable, monster. I'll remember it." The avian watched curiously as Aue read the note, flapping it's wings as the senshi tucked the paper into his sas. It remained even as he collected his water bottle and bounced on off to the location written on it. Finally. The waiting was hard, it was good that Labyrinthite had contacted him. And while he'd been a distance from the meeting place given, Aue would come within twenty minutes..only slightly winded from the journey.

Labyrinthite didn't know how long the bird-youma would take to find Aue but his patience was wearing thin by the time the senshi arrived. He'd been crouching on the ledge of the the building, with his cloak draped around him, and his fingers tapping against the edge until yellow came into his vision. A wide, manic grin stretched across his face as he rose, spine cracking as he shifted, rotating his shoulders and then dropping, with grace and practice, from his perch to land before the panting man.
"Finally," he said with an arch of a dark brow. Slowly he extended his hand and the burner phone that'd been loaded with a number Labyrinthite would use to reach him. "For a more practical means of contacting, powered or otherwise," he stated, dark grin slipping into something more stoic with Labyrinthite squaring his shoulders and standing to his full height. They were near equal but the general knew how to position himself to appear larger, and therefore more intimidating, than he was.
Years of practice.
The implication of his words were clear, I don't care what state you're in, you come when I call.
"As useful as the pup is, I prefer my meeting to be one on one," Labyrinthite stated, taking a moment to let eyes that seemed too bright in the darkness compared to the shadows that draped across his face, with his prominent bone structure and slight circles beneath his eyes. "Tell me everything you know of the stranger and the royals you encountered."

Like a ******** gargoyle, but he sure knows how to make an entrance. Kind of like a mid-boss in an RPG or MMO, really. Aue caught his breath and watched the General come close to offer a phone and an explanation as to why it was being offered to him. "Sorry, we can't teleport like you guys can." The senshi inspected the phone, opening it and thumbing it on to check what had been pre-loaded, number wise. Just one thing, the General's contact number. I'm supposed to carry this all the time, then? The Negaverse requires a lot more work than I'd hoped, but it's too late now. "Makes sense. I'll keep it on me." The pup. Blue eyes narrowed slightly and the big brunette shifted on his feet, the whiskey-eyed General's closeness crowding him into unrest. He means the Wolfe. Wisely Aue remained quiet until Labyrinthite made a demand of him that required answering. "I don't know much, I was there for only one meeting...there was a second, but I didn't attend." Aue tucked the burner phone into that weird side-wise-but-not space that his senshi phone and magical disco stick usually stayed in before he continued. "Said his name was Caedus and that he'd been imprisoned by Beryl some millenia ago. That he needed energy from us to go home - wherever the ******** that was, he didn't say. Wanted us to all take some stupid crystal things and hold them bare-handed to feed energy into them." With clipped syllables but care to speak clearly, Aue gave Labyrinthite what he wanted to know about the mysterious cloaked figure, then the royals. "One was a blond princess with a small rack. She was dressed like some ballet reject, only in heels. Came off like a bitchy air-head. There was a guy with her though, I think they must have been together -- he was a Knight, I think. All in greens. Didn't catch their names, but I assume the chick was that Ganymede person you mentioned last time. The guy whipped out his ******** crystal or something and pointed it at Caedus at one point - to help, but the walking corpse didn't like that. He was as blustery as the woman. Mousy brown hair. Couldn't get the color of his eyes from where I was. Dressed in blues, wore some sort of toga-looking thing and armor..like some MMO paladin almost. His wings were dark, not sure if that means anything." Aue paused a moment, clearing his throat, "I believe that's Castor."

"Even the beginners must run," Labyrinthite retorted, taking in the senshi with a leveled gaze. "Consider it a test of your endurance," he suggested, though there was a small part of him that knew he was being mildly unfair to Aue. It didn't matter though, he had to give the appearance that he had high standards to see to what means Lemon would go to while attempting to reach them.
After Wolfeite's recent behavior, the general felt as though he could afford to be pickier when he picked his pups.
He listened attentively to the retelling of the first meeting, though he was disappointed to learn that there'd been a second one - quite possibly the one that lead to the invasion - that his senshi had not attended. It was of little consequence though, the damage had been done. Labyrinthite would respond later, likely order the senshi to attend all meetings whether he wanted or not.
Vital information could be lost otherwise.
Caedus meant little to him, it was not a name he was familiar with and were the remaining general-queen in a fit state of health he might have inquired with her, but as it stood he merely had a name to reference and hope to gather recon when possible. "These crystals - " a pause of contemplation, eyes narrowing as he replayed Aue's words in his head. "Can you acquire one?" Surely there had to be someone who still retained one.
Or, if the stranger was still around perhaps there would be a chance to request one. He felt it was safe to assume that Aue had not taken one if he did not attend the following meeting called by the stranger.
"I want more information on him regardless," he added, a clear afterthought. The description of the royals was clear and Labyrinthite nodded to confirm the suspicions. "Were any of the other royals there? Iris?" There was one he was forgetting and after he said - "Camelot? He is a knight, a royal one I believe." It'd been sometime since the two men had interacted.
"I assume that they were as disorganized as ever."

So fresh recruits couldn't teleport? That was an interesting bit of information for Aue to assimilate; he'd had no idea that the lieutenants were unable to pop around the way that Captains and Generals did. Labyrinthite's comment about considering this a test of endurance was met with a short nod - and some silent, mental cursing. Being part of the Negaverse was definitely more labor intensive than he'd thought it would be...he was going to have to do something about his laziness. Like... work out?. It didn't please him, but it was what it was. Aue had committed himself to this road, he'd see it through. "I--" Don't know. Maybe there are no more, maybe they're all tapped out or broken from being used. But that's not what he'll want to hear. ********> I'm going to have to try to find one, somehow. "Will do my best to acquire one for you, General." One way or another. "Iris? I do not know of a royal called 'Iris'." s**t, he'd forgotten the Knight. "My apologies, I did not catch his name and he looked...less overblown than the senshi." Aue cleared his throat, wishing for something wet to soothe his throat after the run and all the talking, "The Knight was there, with his shield. The senshi seemed inclined to ignore him and his counsel." Of course, Castor and Ganymede and seemed inclined to ignore everyone's counsel, so that wasn't really surprising in the slightest. "It was a shitshow, to be blunt. Much arguing, bitching, d**k-wagging. There were voices of reason in the group, but they were ignored in favor of watching the royals going back and forth. I believe that some found private audience with the stranger, after the meeting adjourned." Aue had not caught the names - and sometimes not even the faces - of the voices trying to put reason forth, which was unfortunate but he'd held back to the outskirts of the gathering. That I am sure will not do in the future. Labyrinthite will want better intel, I will have to be in the thick of things. He could make a further observation, "During the meeting there were several smaller groups, I am not sure if they are actual teams or were simply collections of those that were familiar, but much of what was rational came from one of the groups. I didn't get a very good look, but it seemed that others gathered around a tall blond eternal covered in plants."

It was Aue's misfortunate that he not only under estimated what the Negaverse would expect of him but also that he'd gotten one of the harshest men to fall under. The general certainly cared for his own but - he was also a strict, harsh instructor who expected nothing but the absolute best of his subordinates.
He broke them if he had to then he rebuilt them into something better, stronger, more deserving of Metallia and the power she could grant them.
If they couldn't be made in her image then they would be disposed of. Labyrinthite had no qualms about shattering a starseed. Youma made lovely servants after all, or simply crushing the starseed if he saw fit.
As their relationship evolved and progressed, Lemons would learn quickly enough exactly what his general expected of him. Even if he was beaten and bloody in the aftermath.
"Foul mouth blonde, sphere is rainbows. She has a team. The Asteroids." He gave a brief description though it was increasingly clear that the woman had not been present. It was well enough, he supposed, since he hadn't caught sight of her in the Dark Kingdom. He liked to think that she was smart enough to avoid a suicide mission and he was sure that he'd heard reports of sighting her now and then. She was still very much in the city, just dodging him.
Of course.
"It appears that knights have more tact than the senshi do." He assessed from the description that his companion gave him. "Could you arrange a meeting with the stranger? Inquire about his plans to move forward now?" He was terribly interested in the stranger, just not enough to risk exposing that they had an informant. "Find out about that senshi too. Anyone that is considered worthy of respect among them is dangerous."
Eternal covered in plants, it sounded familiar. He needed to look at the database, see what he could scrounge up information wise.

In time, the white-and-yellow clad senshi would learn of his follies, discover just how unlucky (with regards to his wont to be lazy and do as little work as possible) he'd been in catching Wolfeite's eye so much that he'd been introduced to American McGee's General. For the moment, he was still mostly in the 'honeymoon' phase - where the additional requests (demands, really) didn't feel onerous, but more as something necessary to prove that he really was worth Labyrinthite's time and energy. As opposed to being worth only his starseed. The description of Iris, brief as it were, only served to make Aue shake his head; he'd met no one that fit the whole of Labyrinthite's description and said as much. Aue did make note, however, that the General was interested in this "Iris" person and that he should keep an eye out for her - or her team. If I could net him such a wanted person, no doubt that would secure my space within his guard and prove that I have uses beyond a monster's snack. Not that he was kidding himself, to snare a Princess - supposedly the epitome of senshi power - was far, far beyond him...but it was a nice thought. "I will do my best. I believe it highly likely Caedus would take a meeting with me as I am now." As for the eternal, well...that would be trickier...but there had been quite a group with him - and no doubt but that he was unique amongst the crowd, what with his green-growing ornamentation - if he could not meet the senshi himself, perhaps one of his comrades? "It may take some time, but I will find the information you seek."

Inwardly, disappointment shimmered through him when Aue shook his head, though outwardly he remained unmoved as he was. The rainbow princess was still around, he knew that much, but finding any information on how to catch her remained unobtainable. It was perhaps better this way, he could not let personal grudges cloud his vision as much as they once had.
There were greater manners at hand, even if the scar on his ankle burned when he thought about Iris.
"I want any and all information you can gather upon him, outside of just obtaining a crystal," Labyrinthite paused, an idea striking him when he thought of the various crystals that lined the coves of the Rift. "If he has other crystals with other properties, obtain or learn about those." His gaze was level as he nodded, waved a dismissive hand in the air.
"Very well, but I expect regular updates," came his cold response. A beat and then, "expect a summons from me shortly, I have something I want to..." He paused long enough to let a sinister grin grace his lips for a split second. "Test." It'd been something he'd been thinking about since he had fed Silk a starseed and nothing happened. It left him curious to know what would happen when someone from the White Moon digested one.
He lacked the proper tools for the experiment, but he'd make sure to bring a starseed later.
"You're dismissed for now, but I'll be in touch."

Aue merely nodded at Labyrinthite's orders, taking to heart what he said regarding information gathering on Caedus and his crystals. How he would find the mysterious NPC and get him to talk was another thing entirely - a possible problem that Aue wasn't about to place on the General's shoulders lest the man decide he was more effort than he was worth. "Yes, General." He was being dismissed, obviously, but there was something about the way that the pink-haired officer was grinning that sent a chill coursing down the brunet's spine. That is not the sort of expression one wants to see...what are you thinking, Labyrinthite? It can't bode well for me. "Test." Well, it wasn't as though Aue could exactly say no - if he didn't agree, the man would just do it, likely something worse than initially planned. "I'm at your disposal." A smart salute and the yellow-and-white clad senshi backed away from Labyrinthite five steps before turning to leave. He would not be taking a direct route home...especially not after the look that had crossed the shorter man's face. Nuxaz Is wrap, yes? :3 Thank you!
