I actually met my love here on Gaia.
We were in Rally (when everyone would hang in Rallys to show off their cars) and he(back then she lived as a he) was talking to a mutual friend, saying how he wished he had someone that loved him as purely as the mutual friend's gf did.
So I went and plopped my avi onto his lap and introduced myself. I don't know what possessed me to do that, but 8 years later and we are super happy together.

Uh.. my partner and I met via dA. I led an RP group over there, though it's not active anymore. We were friends for about 5 years, RPing, chatting, you know just being chill. Then sometime last year, I was like 'Hey, I love talking to you, you're a great, sweet person, wanna go out?' (I promise you there was a lot more fumbling than that though XD) And we've been happy ever since c: Really hope it works out, she's one of the dorkiest, kindest people I've ever met~

I met my girlfriend at work, when I first started working there. I'm not even joking she trained me my first day there. We didn't speak much after until I learned we both loved the same video game (Splatoon) and we started becoming closer from playing that online together after work.

She was actually dating a guy who wasn't right for her at the time but because of personal things I will not mention here, they mutually broke up and she literally started dating me the same day lol

It's not the usual fairy tale where we saw each other and knew we were right for each other or anything like that. I honestly don't think either of us crushed on each other, we fell in love because of our personalities.

Just as a quick note, as an MtF myself, even when referencing the past when someone was known as a different gender, THEIR CURRENT PRONOUNS ARE ALWAYS THE CORRECT ONES, so if your partner is a she, you should always use those pronouns even if referring to the past. If anyone I knew before I was living full time referred to me as my dead name or used the wrong pronouns intentionally because I was "known as that at the time" I would scream at them because of it.
