you guys send out a lot of announcements. you know that it costs gold to do that, right? it it's based on the number of people in the guild? maybe you could make a forum for announcements? kind of like the staff updates thread? that way, I can check it when I want and not keep getting 10 guild announcements every time I log in? I may quit it I keep getting so many...

I may quit it I keep getting so many... We could do look into something different. So far we have gotten a lot of compliments sending out so many. It keeps people up to date everyday or every other day.

I have read your complaint and I am willing to work on this.
First off thank you for your input and sorry for the inconvenience of the matter at hand.
Have you tried turning off Guild Notifications?
If this is an option you are willing to do. I will show you how to turn your Guild Notifications off.
We are willing to post announcements in a thread for members to look at if they do decide to turn guild notifications off.
This will allow you to be informed of the guild activities with out the bother of so many announcements.
If you have any more comments, questions, or concerns please let me know.

I may quit it I keep getting so many... Lol. I think they put out the right amount. Also, why do you care if it cost gold to put out notifications? It isn't your gold so why care? Lol. I log on every few days and there is maybe one or two notifications.

Lol, I hadn't thought about that. Yeah I can see how that is a problem if your not on every day. It's a reasonable point. Honestly I might ignore an announcement thread. Not that I dont' want to know what the guild is up to it's just not interactive enough to pull me in daily. It would be tough to get into the habit of checking the announcement thread for me.
A counter point to the too many announcement issue; As for a person who is well acquainted with the goings on vai, been part of the guild for a while I am sure announcements could be gratuitous. The guild is adding new members everyday it's good to give them a positive experience. Reaching out with announcements is a useful way to do this. We don't want them to get a miss interpretation that the guild is stagnant.
I think Sataniz made an excellent point. It's awesome how fast the crew is willing to work on issues like this!

I think that announcements are ok, but I think they are better used for important notices that all guild members should be aware of. if it's just to say things we already know, like introduce yourself in our forums, I don't need to know that. it's not informing me about anything new and it's not really reminding of anything important either.
