Hyperborea walked alongside Delphi down the street. She was really happy, the pair had agree to found a Brigade. Ever since the insanity with the Negaverse when her Princess had mentioned the possibility of Knight brigades and Senshi courts, the transcended knight had been interested in forming one. Not only did she want to fulfill her Princess' request and perhaps make her proud, but she also felt like it was great idea, how much more could they accomplish if everyone worked together.

"It's so great that we're able to form these brigades now isn't, we should try to find some more members." She said with a smile to the Polaris Squire.

It was then she felt the ping of an aura, it was a similar yet stronger one to the woman she currently talking to. "Speaking of, that's one of your ilk right? We should go meet them." She suggested.

Whisler liked being early for things…and for another meeting with his oh so dashing Captain friend…well. That was well worth being early for. He was just sitting around, waiting for the other man to show up, twisting his long blonde hair up into a braid, trying to incorporate all of his little dangling crystal pieces into the braid.

It was harder than it sounded.

The knight paused in his twisting of his hair when he felt the auras. Two of them. Knight’s coming his way…oh dear. It was never a good thing when the first thing you felt when two members of your own side came by was fear…but that was what filled him now. Fear and dread. Thank goodness he had shown up early…and honestly, he was hoping against hope that Ashanite was going to be late to their meeting…

What if one of these knights was responsible for hurting him? What if they were in on the torture…

It was a terrible thought, but…but it was there all the same.

Quickly Whisler got up and made his way towards the two knights. It was better that he go to them, rather than they come any closer to him…oh no…what if Ashanite thought he was setting him up? The fear intensified and for a moment, the knight thought he might be sick, though he plastered a smile onto his face and walked closer. They were two girls…one was glowing and wearing white, and the other…

Well. The other was a Polaris Squire. There was no mistaking the crystals that adorned so much of her…

“Hello there. What brings you ladies out and about tonight?”

It wasn't necessarily that she wasn't to fulfill what Cosmos had mentioned but rather that she thought it would be helpful and beneficial to have a group. Not just a group of random knights but ones who could work together and had similar ideals and goals. That was when she'd thought of the Cosmos knight, who was currently walking at her side. They both wanted to work on their wonders, they could help each other with that, and Delphi wasn't the most social and Hyperborea was really the only knight she was on good terms with and knew well, she'd met a few in the past but nothing beyond brief meetings.

"It is, it will help everyone - if people can get along long enough to form them. You've seen, as I have, how so many can't get along much less work together toward a goal." All the fighting, arguing, and just not working together. it was a wonder the Negaverse hand't trampled all over them already. "The senshi are no better either." Perhaps worse even, if only because they seemed to have greater numbers. There were small groups but between groups there was tension, a lack of being able to work together and more. The groups were loosely formed as well it seemed, with members drifting about.

Pausing as she picked up on it also she needed slowly. "I don't know any other Polaris knights." She was sure Polaris herself did, the woman was intent upon knowing her knights and being friends with them - which she admired about the white haired woman. She didn't try and rule them, from what she could tell, was easy to excite and had an infectious personality. She just wanted to know all her knights and be friends with them, it was lovely. She had, before ever meeting Polaris, wondered if the other would want to try and order her about. No need to worry it seemed.

She hadn't known what to expect but he certainly was in different colors from her - purples and just as many crystals. Well it seemed even the males weren't immune from that, and it was very amusing to the lavender eyed squire.

"We were out talking about brigades and possible people we know." Though she knew no one, and had told the other female as much. "Yourself?" She asked wanting to be friendly but not the most trusting, not right off the bat anyway; save for a few exceptions...such as Hyperborea and Polaris.

Hyperborea was surprised when the purple Polaris knight found them instead. She flashed back to a earlier battle of hers when she saw him. She had seen this knight before.

"I know you, you were at Ploutonion's corruption weren't you?" She searched her memory for a name. "Whisler right? It's a pleasure to meet you under proper and not horrible conditions. I am Hyperborea, Transcendent knight of Cosmos, and she is Delphi, Squire of Polaris." She introduced herself and her friend.

"As she said, we are also out looking for any who might be willing to join our cause." Hyperborea elaborated.

After only a moment of listening to both girls speak, his fear and worry melted into confusion. “What’s a brigade? That’s something I haven’t heard of before and um I’m…” Whisler stared at Hyperborea and raised a brow. Well. That was interesting. Almost all of his memories of Ashanite’s corruption were muddled now, but he supposed that he vaguely remembered a short girl in white fighting to protect Ploutonion. They all had failed though so. What did it matter.

“I uh. I don’t really remember talking to anyone during that day…so I’m not really sure how you know my name but uh…that’s cool, I guess.”

He was unnerved. That was unexpected and made him feel rather…sick. If other knights were…researching him, that was really awkward. Knights were awkward…This was awkward. “But yeah. I’m Whisler, Knight of Polaris. It’s a pleasure to meet you both.”

His eyes landed on Delphi and he flashed another smile. “It’s really nice to meet you, I think you’re the first knight of Polaris that I’ve met…so that’s cool.”

Hyperborea realized how weird it probably was that she knew the name of a man she had never spoken to. "Oh I'm sorry we didn't speak but your princess mentioned having a knight who wore purple named Whisler so I figured that was probably you." She explained.

"As for brigades, well I guess we don't know too much about them right now. But after the big battle in Negaspace my princess, lady Cosmos, mentioned that knights can join together to form teams called brigades and they get like special powers or something." She tried to explain it as best she could.

As Hyperborea spoke she found herself with a name for her fellow Polaris knight - Whisler. What was that? She'd look it up later when she got home, she wanted to make it a point to look up what the places were, seeing as she was sure all knight places were something here on Earth also, so she knew a bit more about those around her who were also involved in this war. Looking to her white haired friend she wanted to ask her about this corruption of a...Ploutonion, someone she didn't know. But now wasn't exactly the time for that, or so she figured.

Looking toward the blond she nodded her head slowly. "You are the first I've met as well. I'm sure Polaris knows others though, I think she wants to meet us all." And if she could make friends with them all. She was sure there were other Polaris knights out there - there had to be. She was also sure that if there were...Polaris herself had found some of them and either had made friends with them or was working toward that. The woman seemed to really like the idea of having knights and want to be friends with them - she was just that sort of person. it was something Delphi could appreciate.

"To be honest, I'm unaware of this corruption you both are talking about." Looking to Hyperborea now. "You'll tell me later?" She asked, wanting to at least understand since they were all together in this war.

Nodding to Hyperborea's words, as if to support and back them, she added in. "it was mentioned as something that once was - in the ancient past. Also senshi courts. So two separate things. But thus far it is just us two. I know no other knights more than a passing conversation." And so couldn't remember names or talk to them and ask about something like this, it was not...proper.

Whisler gave the two of them a blank stare. What? Why on earth would Polaris ever talk about him? They had hardly spoken, and he had been so awkward with her and that was just.

It was awkward okay. He wasn’t even sure how he felt about his princess to be honest, and didn’t feel much of a pull towards her at all. He liked the cat a lot better. Snowball or whatever. That was a cute cat…not as cute as Soyala but what could you do. “I’m afraid you lost me again. What do you mean after the big battle in Negaspace? Did I miss something? I didn’t realize there was any battle um…there. In Negaspace. That’s kind of…you really went there? Why would you do something so suicidal? That was kind of dumb. Aren’t you a little young for this too? You can’t be more than…thirteen? Kid you shouldn’t have gone to Negaspace…that was…”

His eyes moved to Delphi, giving her a look. “Did you go too? Why would you do that? You could have gotten killed…or corrupted…” With a sigh, the blonde reached his hand up to rub at the bridge of his nose. “Ploutonian was a Saturn Squire, and now he is a Negaverse Captain. He asked for our help, and we failed him…there really isn’t much more to say about that.” He shrugged, glancing behind him, hoping that Ashanite wasn’t going to choose that time to show up. No, he didn’t want Ashanite anywhere near these two…especially if they were willing to go into the lair of the Negaverse itself. He honestly wouldn’t have been surprised if they had been a part of that capture of the Negaverse agents. He really wasn’t sure how he was feeling right now.

It was Hyperborea's turn to give the knight a blank stare, how could he not have at least known about the battle or heard about it afterward. "Ok I'm not entirely clear on the details but basically this weird guy name Caedus showed up one night, he wasn't a senshi or a knight but he had apparently been held prisoner by the Negaverse. He gave a bunch of knights and senshi these crystals to absorb energy into and said with them he could open a portal into Negaspace for us to attack them directly. So a bunch of order fighters went to negaspace and fought there, things ended up going bad and my princess teleported everyone to the moon. At least thats the short version."

"As for being young I'll have you know I'm fifteen. Besides if it meant a chance for ending the war I'd happily give my life, there's too much pain and sufferring so long as the fighting continues. That's what we're hoping to do with our brigade bring about peace and restore the wonders." She explained a little indignant about his comment on her age.

She couldn't help herself from correcting the knight. "More accurately I failed him. I screwed up and because of that he was captured. It still haunts me." She honestly still could not help but see that night as all her fault.

He hadn't heard? It was a big thing, at least she would have thought it would be. Though she supposed not every knight or senshi was social and would have heard. She herself wasn't all that social and she only knew because she had been there, though she was also sure Hyperborea would have told her the moment things started to happen, had she not been there, as the two of them were fairly close at this point - or so she thought. "He claimed he was around a long time ago...in the ancient times. he was locked away somewhere and got free from Negaspace. He helped us get down there to strike at Metalia." Though she knew that had failed in a rather glorious manner.

"To add a bit more - a General Queen of theirs is dead. Starseeds, a load of them, rescued, a piece of the knights code - also rescued. many hurt and injured on both sides." Now that wasn't something she knew and turned lavender eyes on the other. She'd always thought Hyperborea looked young, and was on the very short side, but fifteen? For a moment the squire wanted to grab the other and just shake her a bit, tell her to have a childhood. But the other was a knight - same as she was. This was a war and once brought in, once you knew about it, how could you turn away from the suffering and the need to help?

"Even our side is hurting the civilians with the damage our fights cause. We'd like to try and speed things up - to try and end the fighting quicker....while also restoring our wonders to what they once were and should again be. Even if they aren't fully restored it'll bring them closer to that and the next generation can continue where we leave off. Eventually, in another generation, perhaps life will flourish again." It was something to work toward and she knew life wasn't likely to be restored in their life time - no...it would take much longer than that. But she wanted to do her best to help...for the future.

"I don't think you failed, I doubt it. I'm sure you did your best and there is no failure in that. It simply means that what you were against was greater than your best. Look at what we fight against...it is understandable. Don't let it bother you, it will happen more in the future I am sure. We need to accept and move on." She offered, hoping to ease the younger, much younger, knights feelings in regards to the incident she had not been present for.

Suddenly he was the bad guy for not hearing about something. Some dumb suicide mission that everyone seemed to have been invited to, but he was quite glad he got skipped over for that. That was stupid. He would have ended up dead. Or corrupted again or something awful. “Yeah. No. Never heard about anything like that, and I’m quite glad of it.” She was fifteen. The little white haired girl was fifteen and talking about giving her life for this? Jesus. He wasn’t even comfortable with giving up his evening cooking shows for the good of the uh. War.

And what was this? Now she was making it a contest for who ******** up the most in Ploutonians corruption? This girl had issues. Real issues. And she seemed like she was brainwashed. Brainwashed to be…well…good. But not even the good kind of good. The kind of good that you would find in the super heroes from the fifties. Overdrawn and kind of annoying. And poor Delphi. Having to deal with this and not even knowing how old the girl was…at least he always asked ages…there was no need to get arrested for being too old for someone.

“Um, yeah. So uh…You guys seem pretty interesting…You’re different than most people I’ve met, and not that it’s a bad thing, I just think…I don’t know. Good luck with whatever you’re planning…?” He really wasn’t sure what that was, but it seemed like asking questions only got him into trouble. Like the knights code thing. What the hell was that?

Oh well.

"Well we're all entitled to our own opinions." She said shrugging, it was not her business to try and argue that the idea of directly attacking the Negaverse was a good one.

"Merci Delphi." It was kind words, though she didn't really believe them but they were kind all the same.

"It was a pleasure meeting you. We should probably get our of your hair." She said looking to her friend. "You ready Delphi?" She didn't want to rush the Polaris Squire especially since this was one of her fellow Polaris knights.

For a moment Delphi considered asking her fellow Polaris knight if he'd ever been to his wonder, wondering what it was and if he was doing anything there, but somehow she didn't get the vibe from him that he did much as a knight or even cared...She could be wrong, of course, but she was fairly good with reading people - she had to for her job. She worked retail and high end, jewelry, she needed to read what people weren't saying and guess things and be on point in her guesses. She didn't want customers returning things or to feel pressured or unhappy with things.

"It's true Hyperborea." She answered kindly, staring down at the shorter knight. One day she might accept it, understand it hadn't been her fault or even mostly her fault. Things happened, especially in a war like this when magic was involved and science seemed a distant thing.

"Yeah, we should. Have a good knight Wistler, be safe. The Negaverse will be looking to strike back at us." And she was still bruised in her midsection from the fight in the castle, it was still sore even, but she'd been working past it and using various creams to help the bruising and handle the soreness from it. She wasn't going to stay in her home anymore and do little to nothing aside from help her wonder. This had to be pushed down a path that would lead to some kind of conclusion - if only for the innocent people who suffered.

"Perhaps we should head toward some places to get drinks. We can power down and get drinks before we continue our patrol. It's still nippy out and you must be cold in your uniform." She said thinking of the younger knight and how chilled she may be.
