Eira was going through the furs that she had bought from Caelis, pausing from time to time to look over at Callistos who was laying on a darker colored fur that she'd given to him. He was on his back, squealing and kicking his feet in the air while flailing one of his toys around. She'd gotten him cute stuffed animals a while back, back he quite tiny, from one of the merchants that came by. She figured that, once he was big enough, that he would want to play with them. She looked passed him to where Branko was laying, eyes closed, next to the fur but not on it. He appeared to sleeping at the moment ut she knew that wasn't the case. It was likely that he was just listening to Callistos as he flailed about. A thought that was confirmed as Callistos let his stuffed animal fly... and it went to bounce off of Branko's head.
The snaptrotter's eyes opened, glancing up at the stuffed thing that was sitting on his head, then to Callistos, and back again. The snaptrotter gave a little flick of his head, which caused the stuffed animal to land near to Callistos once again. It was something that instantly became a game as the stuffed animal landed on the snaptrotter again moments later.
Eira gave a chuckle and said, "Thank you for being such a good playmate, Branko." She really was glad she'd gotten advice from that handsome Oban fellow that had come through. It was an interesting thing, that an Oban would come by and help out, make things a bit more comfortable, even if Branko could still be a bit of a creeper on occasion. Still, it was nice, not only because he was able to help her but also the fact that she'd actually been able to work in conjunction with one of the Obans. She'd always wanted the inn to be a place where anyone could go to relax and enjoy themselves, something that was important to her. She'd seen what war was, saw the devastation of it, how many people were wounded and killed, it was just... terrible. It was something that she didn't want to think about though it was still one of those things that invaded her dreams at night. She knew that it was something that still hurt her brother as well, causing him nightmares as well as sleepless nights.
The visiting Obans, while they didn't stay all that long, were a rather nice sign. It meant that there was a possibility of peace among them all. There had been a time, when the zealous Alkidikes had come toward Sauti, that she thought the peace would be shattered... but it was something that the warriors of the world had been able to take care of. The dangerous invaders among that group had been set on their way, banished by those that lived on the sacred mountain in Zena. That was the only thing that Eira regretted, not being able to see those particular people but she had no place on a battlefield. She would rather leave fighting to those who had the weapons and the will for such things. She'd stick to doing what she did best, entertaining those who came to visiting the inn with her dances and conversation.
Now that the zealots had been 'dealt with' things were peaceful again, save for those escaped Yaelian beasts she supposed... She didn't seem them as a true threat though, not in the same way the Obans and Alkidike zealots had been because it wasn't as though they were openly hostile. Instead they were likely lost and confused, in need to aid in fact since they were so far from home. There were likely a lot of beast masters out there that would take care of that threat, of that she was certain.
So there really wasn't much to be worried about at the moment, meaning that instead of worrying about something terrible happening she could focus on her sweet little baby, her troupe, and her in. Those were the things that really, really mattered to Eira! Things that were far more important, wonderful, and actually worth her time she thought to herself. Her time, especially these days was important and often filled to the brim with all manner of things, "Alright, you two have fun, I am going to continue sorting these furs. Once that is done we will see about dinner and a nice bath." She told the pair that were still tossing around stuffed animals before turning back to the work at hand. Humming to herself Eira set to work finishing up the sorting of the furs.
