The library...oh she wished she could just walk in on her own rather than sending people in for her. It wasn't that Alexandre got her the wrong books, he did very well at getting her just what she asked for. No, she rather get in there and look around herself, see what other books she might want to get her paws on - for the brief time she was allowed anyway! Instead she had to send him off with lists of books to borrow for her, read them as quickly as she could, and send him off to return them or renew the time on them.It was all so annoying and time consuming.
She could do better getting them on her own but alas - she was a cat. That was why tonight she was sulking by the library, tucked under some bushes staring at the place. It was late and she had been returning from her own venture about the city, hoping to run into some unawakened senshi she could lay claim to, when she paused not far from the library.
Tail moving gently behind her, across the ground, her ears twitched with every nighttime sound as the russian blue pouted as much as a cat could pout. She really wished she wasn't a cat or that she could get into the library somehow. Even if she could take on her other form, which she could not at the moment, she would still be unable to enter due to..well a tail and ears. Such a shame - all those books locked up there.

Liryn had long ago given into the temptation of trying to sneak into the Destiny City Library.
He had done so just over a year ago - well okay it had been approximately one year and three or four months ago for those who cared to count, although Liryn didn't count himself amongst their numbers.
It wasn't that he didn't have options, because Arian was generally relatively easy about picking up audio books for him..
However sometimes there were times when he wanted to browse things for himself - which was what had prompted the sneak in attempt.
He hadn't gotten very far because he had ended up coming across a Knight, however it had turned out that the Knight just so happened to be a librarian at the library which meant that Liryn now had an 'in' of sorts.
Which brought him to tonight and the time that he had spent nosing through the available audio books, although a small while had quickly ended up turning into it being time to head homewards, which was what he was doing as he padded down the main steps.Sleet Tempest Snape lmk if you want me to change anything cat_smile

That was what she saw, a cat heading down the library steps, from her hiding spot and while most would think it was a normal cat it wasn't. This one felt similar to herself and yet different. Her tail lashing behind her in anger, ears flattening to her head, the blue (as it was called) furred cat left her hiding spot and made toward the other and toward the library steps.
"Where you just in there?" She called out, voice harsh and accusing - insulted even. She was not pleased with this if her assumption was in fact the truth. If this - this order cat had gotten in there and yet she couldn't! She was better than them, clearly, and deserved access to the library and all that it contained within it's walls - unlike the other. litian Sorry it's so short. I'll do better, promise. ::Sobs::

Liryn paused as he noticed the sudden brush of movement from off and to the side, head turning in time to catch the cat stalking over in his direction.
Purplish eyes took in her blue-grey coat and the dark blue star that sat on her forehead underneath a hat-let thing on her head and then he frowned at her aura - as faint as his own in his form - because there was something 'off' about it.
Still he stood and waited as she got closer and listened as she asked - well demanded really if he'd been in the library.
"Yes" he said, because he had no real reason to hide where he'd been, although he didn't bother to add anything to the simple affirmative.

"How?" She asked as a follow up, tail lashing behind her. How was it that this guardian cat was able to get into the library? How was it any cat could get in, short of having Alexandre sneak her inside she saw no way in. She could try and laser the door...but that would likely result in cameras filming her, and that would be very odd, and authorities and possibly knights or senshi showing up maybe even both. It was just not a possible thing for her and yet this one had gotten in.
"What connection do you have?" She asked, stamping a little paw onto the pavement below. She was not pleased wit this. She had been wanting to get into that library for a long time now and figured it was utterly impossible only to find it was - somehow. It was unfair and she needed answers.

The unknown mauvian hadn't seen fit to leave it there with his short however. In fact she had looked even more unhappy
Liryn had told her as much as he was going to however and so he had said simply but firmly "It's none of your business."
It wasn't that he had a problem sharing generally and had in fact, already told Snowball who was his sometimes library-hunting partner in crime all about Camelot letting him into this particular library.
However the 'off-ness' that he sensed from the other cat was off-putting and Liryn wasn't about to risk saying something that might put the kind Royal Knight in any sort of danger.
There was a stubborn look in his purplish eyes as he continued to watch the blue-grey furred cat and it was one that suggested that he wasn't about to say any more on the topic.

"None of my business." She sounded offended as she spoke. "How dare you. Of course it's my business, how could it not be?" She questioned stepping closer to the other mauvian. How could such a thing as this not be meant for her to know? Never mind the fact she was obviously talking to one of the mauvians who served order, for whatever reason that was. She really did wonder why she served the other side, though it meant more senshi for her...and there were so terribly few as it was.
"Ahh, it's because you don't wanna let someone on the side know, is that it?" She purred out her words, guessing that was why, as she came closer to the other mauvian - dangerously close. She was tempted to just lash out and force an answer from the cat but that may do more harm than good - it may gain her nothing and she didn't want that. She wanted an answer, wanted access to the books within the walls, she was tired of sending others inside for her to get books.

Liryn said nothing as the blue-grey furred cat continued to step closer, the stubborn look still in his purplish eyes even as she queried as to his reasons.
Her words however was enough to clarify just what the 'off-ness' that he was picking up from her was and it made him even more determined not to tell her about Camelot and the Royal Knight being kind enough to let him in.
Liryn in his way was a loyal little mauvian and identities were something that were important - too important for him to say something that might cause the Royal Knight danger...
And so no he wasn't going to say anything more on the library or his way in - at least not any more than what had already been said.

Figuring the other wasn't going to say anything else to her she hissed at him. Her hair going up and ears going back and flat to her head. She could always just call for Benitoite but she didn't, she wouldn't, this was a problem for her to handle. This wasn't some senshi or knight - she could handle this. This was another like herself only they were on the wrong side - clearly.
"So your not going to say anything else." She hissed out while lifting one paw as her claws made their presence known, she had just unsheathed them. With her claws at the ready and this little cat not about to tell her anything else she decided to take her anger out on the cat. She was not pleased, not in the slightest bit, and so it was her anger which fueled her attack as she launched herself at the other cat, claws out and ready to claw at the other.
How dare this fur ball be allowed into the library and she couldn't get in!

Liryn had had a pretty good idea of where the encounter was heading when the other mauvian unsheathed her claws, even if she had kind of stated the obvious beforehand - well at least obvious to him.
At least her hiss was a proper hiss though, in contrast to some of the things that he heard the stupid youma try to produce.
Liryn gave her a warning hiss in return, his fur fluffing up as he unsheathed his own claws because he wasn't about to sit there and let her claw him without retaliation.
The fact that it had the side effect of making him look like something of a fluffy puff ball probably ruined the overall effect however, although Liryn didn't seem to notice or care.
Then the other mauvian was launching herself at him, claws at the ready although if she thought that he was going to be a pushover then Liryn was happy enough to teach her otherwise - at the point of claws that he made sure to keep sharp.

She had hoped this other Mauvian would be a push over but seeing his claws come out she smiled. So he was going to fight - good. It would be insulting to her if she won against a push over, there was nothing gained by beating a push over. No, she was pleased by his claws coming out.
As she came in close a hiss passed her lips, paw lashing out with claws at the ready to rake the other. While his fur was up, and he looked like a giant puff ball, her own fur stood on end as well. Her ears were pinned back against her head and her tail was puffed up in her anger.
She would show this little kitten what she could do. How dare he deny her information! Katya was not a nice cat, not when she got upset, so it really was no surprise that she was aiming for the face. She would mess up this pretty little kitty - make him a bloody mess for his owner.

He managed to avoid being claw-swiped in the face, a sound that was in part hiss and in part yowl escaping as her sharp claws met fur.
The pain didn't stop Liryn from swiping out in retaliation, claws attempting to rake out at her because he favoured claws, although he wasn't above biting if it came to it.
After all he had seen his fair share of fights both as a mauvian and in the before prior to awakening to himself and to what he was - back in the days when he had been just a simple stray.
His next target was the other cat's lashing blue tail, claws lashing out as it got a little too close to him.

Her face! He dare to aim for her face! Hissing loud, yowling even, whatever pain the swipe of claws brought about was ignored as anger filled her and boiled right over. How dare this little bitty kitten aim their claws for her face - she would teach him. She preferred to use her laws, as they kept her at a somewhat safe distance, but she was not above biting and getting into a real ball of fur if need be - she would not lose a fight especially this one.
When he went for her tail, claws sinking into the long limb, she lashed out with claws before moving in to try and bit at one of the other cats ears - she would show him. As she lunged at him, aiming to bite an ear, her hat fell off her head and landed on the ground.
And all this because of some books and a library.

Whilst Liryn hadn't particularly been aiming for the other mauvian's face, he also wasn't sorry.
After all she'd been the one to attack first.
He snarled as her claws once against met fur, swinging his clawed paws round at her savagely with a snarl as she tried to go for an ear.
Because to his way of thinking, the fight was her fault not his.
And whilst the fight had sprung up over of all things a library and a few books, Liryn wasn't about to back down.
Because to him it wasn't just about the library or even the books..
It was about more than that - about it being the place where Camelot worked and to keep that secret Liryn would quite happily use both claw and fang...

For Katya this fight was about two things- books, and having things her way! She was, without a doubt, a pampered guardian cat who wanted things her way, and typically she got what she wanted. This denial of what she wanted simply didn't sit well with her and she had lashed out, as was somewhat typical of her, it was a weakness of hers in all honesty and it was one she perhaps didn't even see.
As the other cat lashed out with claws, again, drawing streaks of blood under her fur she cried out in pain and drew away for a moment. It was one of those knee jerk reactions which she could not help, because she didn't like the fact she had drawn away for a moment even...it was a weakness to her.
With the distance, small as it was, between them she threw herself at the other, teeth flashing and aimed to bite the other while her claws were ready to sink into flesh. She would not lose so easily, she was not willing to back down until absolutely necessary and if that meant she limped off a bloody mess...well she would. Benitoite would just bandage her up and tend to her when she got home, perhaps a bath and a vet trip. litian It's fine, I've been a bit busy also. How do we wanna have this end? Any ideas? I'm all ears.
