It was not Tuesday. Sad. Jayce was also busy with his band stuff, so that was out, and despite having met a handful of senshi and knights, she couldn't quite establish consistent and regular patrol partners yet. Sigh. That meant, tonight, Sedna was patrolling solo. She was still plotting, of course, how to get Beringia out on more than just Tuesday...but that was very much like trying to melt an iceberg. It'd just take time. At least she was a super senshi now! That boosted her confidence for patrolling on her own---especially after running into that one lieutenant who tore her a new one. She had been both dreading but anxiously hoping to run into him again. Anything to try and stop someone like that who was out and about--- Oh hey! Sedna paused after she landed on a building roof top around the DCU campus, sensing an Order signature nearby. It was around her level, too! Ever curious, the senshi's expression immediately brightened as she started to head in the direction of it.

Denebola did not have a set patrolling schedule, which was probably very frustrating to her partner - Eternal Sailor Corvus - who liked to know when the redhead was out and about and usually the dragonfly senshi complied with the easy request of texting her companion whenever she went out. Tonight she hadn't and she hadn't informed Altais either, whom she put on strict orders of bed rest when she'd slipped out of bed and out the door.
She was full of restless energy that she needed to work out, a quick patrol wouldn't hurt her, besides, Corvus and Altais were both exhausted from everything they'd gone through in the last few weeks. Denebola herself was war weary, but she was also a bundle of unresolved energy which often happened when she wasn't doing enough.
The super senshi had gravitated towards the DCU campus without meaning to, probably because she'd started taking med classes there and was thinking about them, when she felt a similar aura pulsing nearby. She had no reason to be on edge, not with it being so obviously white moon but after the debacle with that mouthy lust knight well -
She didn't know if anyone "on her side" was really on her side.
"Hello?" She called tentatively, spinning in a slow circle on her heel.

Sedna landed on the roof top the other senshi was occupying, her lips stretching into a grin as she caught sight of the new senshi. Ooh! She was so pretty! "Wowzers---" She gasped, and raised a hand in greeting as she moved closer to the other. "Heya! Your bow is really awesome---" Sedna started to gush, but once she was close enough, she could also see that the other had--- The senshi of Ships gasped again, her eyes going wide. "Holy cannoli! You have two different colored eyes, oh my gosh, that is so cool!" She was waving her hands around, like she was mimicking some sort of bird that couldn't fly, but was trying. She was thoroughly spazzing. "Does that happen when you become magical, or are they natural!?" So caught up in her questions, she totally forgot introductions. Nuxaz How has it been a month since I last tagged this!? /flops over and dies

Denebola didn't know how to react to the senshi of ships when she landed and immediately launched into a series of sentences and - compliments? Frankly, the woman couldn't remember the last time someone had said wowzers or even complimented her appearance. She did have a rocking bow.
And then -
There it was - the comment about her eyes, it was always there waiting to creep out. "Heterochromia, more common in dogs than humans, unless you count hazel eyes which are, in fact, a form of it. Heterochromia iridis however effects less than 1% of the population." Denebola knew her s**t when it came to her unique eyes.
She smiled at the white haired woman hesitantly, reaching to tuck loose hair behind her ear. "It's natural. Used to think it was the most magical thing about me for a while."

Sedna's mouth made an 'oh' shape was the other launched into her explanation, and after she was finished, the senshi clapped her hands excitedly. "Wow!" She exclaimed, "That's some serious knowledge! And I believe it---you're the first person I've seen with it!" She gave her a fox eyed grin, and then let out an earnest laugh at Denebola's comment. "I think I can see where you're coming from! Guess even that cool trait doesn't quite got anything on---" She made a sweeping gesture to the both of them. "This, huh?" Sedna tilted her head, still admiring the other senshi's graceful appearance, before she snapped to. "Oh, right!" She moved closer to the other senshi, and thrust her hand out. "My name's Sedna! Senshi of Ships!"

"Ah, I used to consider a life as a scientist," Denebola shrugged, appearing sheepish at the way Sedna seemed overly excited. She'd been interested in entomology for a long while but had since switched her schooling interest into medicine, if only to allow her to be more prepared the next time someone was horribly injured.
This second life was draining, but every time she tried to walk away, she hated herself.
"Denebola," she replied quietly, with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. She was tired, even if she tried to pretend otherwise. "Dragonflies, that's my sphere." It was weird voicing it, she hadn't openly told someone that in so long.
She took Sedna's hand and shook it before inhaling a shaky breath. "It's nice to meet you." It was rare that she met someone without being attacked these days.
