Keelthy was performing a particularly complicated routine in a large crowd of onlookers, it was a dance that still gave him some trouble but he recovered misteps quickly and made them look like they belonged there as often as he could. It was a tale of two lovers that should be done with two people but he had yet to find a satisfactory dance partner that could play the other part. It was a dry place for talent apparently in this section of the city, mores the pity, he liked practicing his art with other performers, he had been living a pretty lonely existance lately and that was not his ideal of a good time. The music crescendoed and came to a close as he moved with it into a ball down on one knee in the final pose of the exhausting dance.
His sides heaved and sweat rolled down his forehead in sheets and streams. However he had managed to do the dance some justice and was rewarded with the roar of moderate applause that was almost as good as the pay he would get for the gig. He glanced into the crowd looking for familiar faces and finding none.

After his little date with Mano at the beach, Klaas had wandered back to his homeland of Oban with a bit more confidence. The outside world shouldn't be all that bad. His first encounter was successful. He'd made a friend he could joke around with and who didn't like a bit of flirting? He'd stayed home for several months before he started to wander yet again. Klaas didn't stay in one place too long. The boy had itchy feet since he was born. So today the masked man found himself in a large crowd watching this other put on a dance show for all to see. The dance was very fluid, though Klaas didn't know too much about dancing to really be the judge. He couldn't move like that for as long as the song lasted. With the final pose, Klaas found himself clapping and wandering closer. "Hey," he said over the crowd, grinning wide. "Hey, who're you?"

Keelthy turned to see a cute Oban with a most mysterious mask on. Well this was a pleasant surprise, not every one wanted to talk after a performance, but he loved it when they did. "Keelthy, its a pleasure to meet you." He offered his hand for the other to shake. "What can I do you for?" He asked curiously, perhaps it was an inquiry on technique or another job offer or just a chance to have a good chat, the possibitliies were endless and he felt really good after the performance that he had put on. "Your name is?" He asked curiously, he would have remembered this man if he had seem him before.

"Right, guess that'd be good manners, eh? I'm Klaas." He took the other's hand and shook it rather firmly and just grinned wider, a laugh in his eyes. "As for what you can do for me? Why not come share a drink and conversation? I think it'd be a good way to unwind." He all but stuck his tongue out as he said it, being playful and hopefully inviting. Klaas wasn't looking for much other than a friend right now, and with the performance Keelthy gave, he had a feeling that Keelthy would be an interesting friend to have in this place. "I'm sorta new to the this area. Trying to make a friend." And maybe a buck here or there.

Keelthy smiled brightly, the lad's attitude was infectious and bright. It gave Keel a really good feeling. "A pleasure to meet you Klaas, I would love to go for a drink with you." "New are you?" Keelthy said grabbing a towel to wipe off his face, "Where are you from? Coincidentaly I have a position open for a friend spot." He smiled warmly, this was going to be a great day. He was glad that this had happened as his performance had not been quite as perfect as he would have liked. "Do you have a place in mind by chance?" He inquired.

Klaas gave a hum and just put his hands behind his back. "North. I come from the north of Oba." He fiddled with his own fingers and then blinked at the second question, shaking his head. "I was just going to wander until we found a tavern that's open. If you have a suggestion, let's hear it. I'm fine with anything." The other Oban smirked to the other and then started wandering in a random direction. "I'll pay!" He made some money on the road, doing odd jobs here and there. Certainly enough for a couple of drinks.

Saint Sergio so sorry for the wait T.T Mmmm so open, how refreshing. He was used to his brother planning all the things for a day then freaking out when the whole load didn't get finished. This was something new, and it made the day seem all the brighter. "I like the wandering idea you have, lets do that. Next time I'll get the drinks." Keelthy let his tired muscles set the pace, it was a good cool down for him to go for a walk, it let the muscles stretch without heating them up too much again. He followed the young man until they espied an open place. "This one looks good, what do you think?"

"Sounds good to me!" Klaas said, shoving his hands in his pockets as they walked. The pace set wasn't strenuous, a nice lazy pace because this Oban was a lazy sort when he didn't have to do something immediately. "Say, Keelthy, right? I was thinking about taking a trek into Tale and going exploring. See how far I can wander before I miss the homeland, you know?" Then Klaas looked up at the tavern Keelthy picked out and he gave a low noise and a nod. "Just as good as any." With that, he shifted and opened the heavy wooden door for him. "Go, go."

"I was good in our travels about until it started to pour down rain in Jauhar, then you miss everything hot and dry. Its very different out there but definitely worth checking out. Tale is full of grass, more grass then you could imagine and its taller then you would thing..until you see the big trees in Jauhar they are truly impressive." Keelthy followed in smiling as the lad held the door open, how considerate of him, very sweet. "I went to zena for a little bit, don't know what came over me, but it definitely wasn't for me, so cold you feel like your eyes are going to freeze, a truly unpleasant proposition. The best part of travel I think is the different colors, the different scenery ..and the food. I even miss some of the food."

"Oh the rains down in Jauhar? I've heard about them. 'fraid I missed them when I was there." Klaas shrugged a little and hummed. He'd never been to Jauhar, but that was fine. The other didn't need to know that. "Zena?" He followed the other in and shoved his hands back in his pocket before wrinkling his nose at the mention of the cold. "I like the warmth. Not ...cold. Ugh. It's like humidity. I can't stand being hot and muggy. Get all sweaty and gross, and it's just not for me. Give me the dry air any day." The Oban looked around and then led them to a table in the back without really waiting to be seated. That's how you did here, right? Then, then Keelthy mentioned missing the food and Klaas could nod. "I met a Matori who let me taste fresh seafood on one excursion. It was amazing. Straight from the ocean, cooked right there and then. I'll miss it."

"I don't know that I've ever had it straight from the ocean before, I think I will have to try that now. It sounds like it will be worth the extra effort to aquire it. What source would you suggest? Do I have to go into Matori to get it? That would be the best way right?" He could perform there too and hopefully not get too burned by any residual resentment from the locals. Keelthy settled comfortably into his chair, his muscles were still warm and relaxed from the effort he had expended during his performance. "So have you figured out what your life's purpose is yet? I'm not sure I have except perhaps to perform for other people, but I feel like I'm missing something."

Klaas squinted at the question, thinking about it long and hard. He taped fingers to his chin and then shrugged. "Just... catch it and cook it on the beach? I'm not sure what the best method is. Fishing makes sense..." The Oban tilted his head this way and that as he settled as well. Then the question about purpose came up and he let out a ragged, wary laugh. "No. Well.. Not yet. I've always been interested in the like.. magics, but I don't know if I'd be any good, or what kind, and it's just.." He waved his hand in a dismissive manner. "It's a huge mess. Still looking for something that'll have a strong pull for me. It's not swordsmanship, I can tell you that much. Never did care for being in harms way on purpose like that."

"To tell the truth neither did I, but to my family battle is everything so in order to keep my place among them, particularly my picky uncles, I had to adopt the sword somehow. Hence the lovely blade dancing, it does give me good tips though I'll give it that." Keelthy stretched out on his chair, relaxing into it. "There is nothing more satisfying then a good performance."

Battle was everything? Klaas hummed at that and nodded. He knew so many families like that. The Oban pulled one of his braids forward after taking them out of their ponytail and just massaged his scalp a bit. "I'll have to believe you about that. The performances. I've never been one for being in the spot light. I had enough of it when I was younger." He pointed to his white half-mask and just made a helpless face. What could he really do. It was rough, but it wasn't something he couldn't overcome. It made his skin really thick, which, as an Oban in this world, you had to have. Not everyone liked Obans yet. "I'm thinking about finding a healer and seeing if they'll try to teach me or.. tell me how to go about it. I don't understand magic. Mystery."

Keelthy watched the mans hands idly as they played with his hair, daydreaming for a moment then coming back to reality. "Spotlight? Ah but the mask only highlights how beautiful your face is. And adds a little mystery itself a little debonair flare if you will. But I understand the sentiment, I had to struggle for my spot light but that was personal." He tilted his head, "Now healing, that is a truly worthy art to pursue, if I had more affinity for magic I think I would have dabbled in healing..as it is I can put a bandage on a small cut and that is about it." He shrugged sheepishly. "Oh ya, and I'm not so fond of blood, but shhh, no one knows that."
