Quote: Ursula “Would you love me more if I could give you children?” Ursula asked suddenly while she sullenly wiped the blood off her bat with one of the dead mare’s tails.Quote: Vladislav Vladislav paused in torturing the stallion beneath his claws and tilted his head at his mate. “A bit of an odd time to ask such a thing, my love,” He wiped the gore that coated his claws on his gasping victim’s hair and turned with a thoughtful look on his face. “What brought about such a question?” Quote: Ursula They were in the middle of a war zone so to speak. Taking on their dear old friend Lux’s crew. It wasn’t much of a challenge if you asked Ursula. Most of those opposing Lux’s rule were strong and possessed far greater abilities than the side that was loyal to the fire Ulun’suti. Hell, most of them didn’t even have claws. The one true threat that Lux had on her side was her pet Death, but Conqueror had gotten into the beast’s head and wounded her enough that she had fled. Ursula sighed and made eye contact with Vladislav. Her tentacles twitched anxiously. “It’s just. We’re never going to get to experience family drama like this,” she pouted. “Or have an army of children to murder and pillage with us,”Quote: Vladislav “Hmm,” Vladislav nodded to himself. “It would be nice to have an army of children,”Quote: Ursula “See!” Ursula huffed, crushing the skull of a nearby corpse in annoyance. “I can’t give you that, Vlad.”Quote: Vladislav “We could use Lux’s methods and kidnap an army,” Vladislav mused.Quote: Ursula “Oh yes, that worked out great didn’t it?” Ursula rolled all of her eyes and gestured to the scorched and bloody field full of dead bodies.Quote: Vladislav “Ha! I see your point, my dear,” Vladislav smiled down at his little firecracker of a mate. “Back to your original question. While I wish we could have children together, I think it’s impossible for me to love you more than I already do,” He sunk his claws into the twitching corpse below him and yanked out the stallion’s still-warm heart. With a graceful bow, he offered it to Ursula.Quote: Ursula “Oh you smooth talker,” she giggled. Her tentacles delicately plucked the gifted organ out of her lover’s claws and she took a large bite before dropping into her other mouth. “It’s rare that we get dinner and a show,” she purred, leaning against his side and watching the carnage continue a distance away.Quote: Vladislav “Mmm, indeed,” he smirked. “Should we watch from a distance?”Quote: Ursula “Did you seriously just ask me that?” Ursula laughed, all of her prior insecurities gone and replaced with the thirst for blood and death.Quote: Vladislav Vladislav cackled and shook out his mane. “Well then, after you, my sweet,” he purred. It was times like this that reminded him just how special his mate was and how lucky he was to have her all to himself. He was so in love with her that children had never really crossed his mind. He didn't really have a burning desire for them, only a burning desire for her. But if this was something that was bothering her - something that she wanted - well Vladislav would do whatever it took to make her happy.
He followed her as she ran into the chaos of battle, and he let out a chilling peal of laughter as she slammed her bat into the back of an unsuspecting mare's knee. Yes, if Ursula really wanted children... they could find a way. He had heard tales of a star that granted wishes after all...
