Being unable to dance - or rather, being unable to do so
without tearing himself open - meant that Colin Hargrove had quite a bit of "extra" time. Even with having taken to working for Quenton at the Cat Cafe, with PT and doctor's appointments, he found himself
adrift and looking for things to be doing. Like wandering around Destiny City with his beloved camera, taking photos and the like...and trying out new restaurants and coffee shops. Sightseeing.
Coffee Bean was one of those places he'd only been to rarely; he'd never known it existed, but when he and the team had been looking for a tattoo studio to take on their Ouroboros-themed tattoos, he'd seen it and made a point to give it a try.
Colin went up to the counter to make his order, glancing around and noticing that - once again - the girl with the eye-patch was there. It seemed as though
every time he came, she was there as well - the staff seemed on very friendly terms with her as well, speaking to her with a familiarity borne of a long relationship. It was
interesting and Colin, being a nosey (and friendly) sort, felt like talking to the mysterious young woman would be
very much worth his while.
If he could get her to talk to him. She seemed to mostly keep to herself from what he'd seen.
Wait, is that a toothbrush? Huh, I guess I'm not the only one... Then again, Colin carried quite a few toiletries in his dance bags, so it wasn't
that strange in his mind - he didn't have his bag with him this time (there had been no need, since he was recovering) which still felt
awkward and odd, even after several months of not carrying it.
Colin moved to the young woman's table, placing his free hand on the back of an empty chair and smiling down at her, "Excuse me, Miss? Hi, I wondered if I could join you?" He gestured a bit to the crowd with his expensive chai and tried to seem harmless and welcoming, so she might not thing he was a weirdo, a mass-murdering rapist or anything like that. "I'm Colin, by the way."
