Obviously, in addition to reading good and trashy romance novels alike, she also really enjoyed movies as well. That also went for really good and trashy and pretty much chick flicks as well. That's why Olga was digging through the large discount movie bin in a store. Some of the contenders seemed promising, and wow, she even found Titianic in here! Only one of the greatest chick flicks ever with young Leo... Hm, hm, hmmmm... She caught movement out of the corner of her eye and glanced over, finding someone over in another section of the movie part. She had immediately gone back to what she was doing, before she popped back up again when she had taken in a glance of what they were looking at as well. Romance movie section! Ooooo! Ever so nosy, and wondering if there was something over there that wasn't here, she left the discount bin to check it out--- And by check it out, that meant coming right up behind the young man and looming over his shoulder to peer down at the movies he was looking at. Like a creeper. Like, so close, she could practically breathe on his neck. "Oh! That's a good one!" She excitedly pointed out, upon seeing what he was looking at.

He was still getting used to things: his new name, his new powered life, his new...everything. The fact that he had entire gaps of his memory just missing - which, if Rhys was being honest with himself, was perhaps the most frustrating and frightening of all.
Still, things were better than they had been - at least, according to Hitch and Fritz both. And all things considered, the fact that, after everything he'd been told happened, Hitch still wanted to marry him, Rhys rather thought he was doing unexpectedly well.
Even if he did have nightmares.
But now it was date night, and he stood in the back of the video store, hemming and hawing. Rhys had naturally gravitated towards the romance section, though it had been after a few quick looks here and there to make sure that he wasn't being watched. Hitch may not have minded his penchant towards cheesy chick flicks, but Rhys certainly felt the scrutiny.
Literally, since there was literally someone scrutinizing him right now.
He gave a yelp of surprise and dropped the movie - The Proposal onto the ground with a clatter, Rhys staggering backwards. He flipped around, his face flushed, and stammered, "W-what? No, I was - I mean, that is - "

Olga let out an 'Oh!' sound and immediately knelt to pick up the fallen movie. She popped right back up, offering it to the young man with her lips curved into a 'v' like smile. "Have you seen it, yet!? It's adorable! Plus, I mean, it's really funny seeing Ryan Reynolds now, especially since he's playing Deadpool! But that's not exaaaaactly a romance movie, but anyways!" She gave him a fox eyed grin, and then immediately got side tracked. "Also, your hair is really cool!"

Rhys all but clutched the other video to his chest, trying not to let the title of it show, in spite of the fact that one of them had already tumbled free. His face was steadily growing redder with each second that passed, his heart hammering in his chest.
He opened his mouth to speak and then promptly shut it again, flushing.
"N-no," he stammered. "I was just - I was looking - "
Her compliment caught him off guard, Rhys hastily trying to stuff the second DVD back in place on the shelf before she could see it. "Thank you, I - no, I - I wasn't - "

"Looking at romance movies!" Olga helpfully filled in with an eager nod of her head. She went back to leaning over him again, trying to peer at the second movie he was putting back. "Aww! Why are you putting it back?" She glanced to the other side, and her smile widened as she caught sight of another movie. A long arm reached over and plucked Pride and Prejudice, starring Keira Knightley, and then held it up to him excitedly. "Have you seen this one!? It's so good! Plus Mister Darcy is such a dreamboat in this one---"

He felt his face flush further, if that was even possible. "No," protested Rhys, "No, I just..."
But every explanation seemed lamer than the first, and this girl was too overly excited and eager to actually try and talk his way out of it. Rhys's shoulders slumped a little, his expression anxious as he she came back and thrust a movie into his face.
"Oh," he said, "Erm. I mean."
He swallowed hard. "I - I l-like that one, but, um, I pr-prefer the...the long one of that one."

Yeah. Rhys was pretty much getting steam rolled. Much steam rolled. Olga's expression lit up considerably now that the young man was engaging her in conversation, and she gave him a fox eyed grin. "Oh! You mean the version that's like a mini-series? Where Colin Firth is Mister Darcy?"

He opened his mouth, shut it, opened it again, and then shut it again, and then finally opened it once more.
"Y-yes," said Rhys, swallowing hard. "I, um. I find it...more - romantic."
His face was scarlet. He kind of wished the ground would swallow him up.

Olga squealed, loudly. "ME TOO!" She cried excitedly, her fists unclenching as they shot out in exclamation. "Sometimes I worry about things going on too long, but that series is just so perfect! Ugh, I can just roll on the romantic feels all day!" Olga wrapped her arms around herself, and swayed a little as she thought about it. "What are some of your other favorite titles!?"

He startled a little at her squeal, his eyes wide as he stared at her. For a moment, Rhys wondered if he really had stepped into some strange, twisted, confusing store where people harangued you about your secret passion for chick flicks -
- but maybe this was just who this girl was. Whoever she was.
Rhys clutched his bag a little more tightly to himself but gave a nod and said, "Um - I - yes, that's - it's true, I t-thought that it b-being long would...would take away, but it just makes it m-more romantic, I think."
He could feel his face burning. He'd never talked about these movies with anyone outside of Hitch, and even then he tended to pretend that it was a tendency of his that didn't exactly exist.
"E - er," he said awkwardly, "I l-like...Never B-Been Kissed. And, um." He swallowed hard. "T-The Holiday."
