~Stat Info~
Offense: Offense is the ability to attack in many different forms and blend them into combos, such as kick and punch in a combo both with exceptional power or speed behind both hits. Offense is also the basic display of ones abilities, if one is not good at attacking they will be unable to keep the pace in battle in their favor attacking is one of the best base stats to be good in.
Defense: Defense is the amount of damage you can resist, as well as the ability to defend attacks that are normally harder to defend such as elemental and energy based attacks. But this does not mean you are immune to being hurt it just means you can take more damage without being phased, but if you are weak to a certain element your defensive capabilities will only help a little against that element.
Physical Strength: Physical Strength enables you to hit harder than most, this can enable you to cut through defenses or daze an opponent even though they defended your attack. Most warriors pride themselves on how well they can hit, rather than how fast they are or even how smart they are. But strength is not everything in battle but it is a good base.
Mobility: Mobility is the rate your character can move and attack, meaning your attacks will be faster but they will not have enough power behind them to do significant damage. But if you are fast you can most likely hit your opponent enough that it will take its toll before you are hit even once. It also uses agility with their speed so they can switch directions during high speed traveling, meaning you can control the direction you are moving even at a speed most will have a hard time following. This could give you the edge over slower opponents.
Intelligence: Intelligence is a wide variety of things, most common ways of being intelligent is to know a lot about various subjects. Your intelligence can mean you are strategic in battle as well as catch onto your opponents strengths and weaknesses very fast with little time fighting them. It could also enable your character to have previous knowledge of certain mechanisms and their creator just by looking at the piece of work, but you will have to explain how you got the knowledge in the first place, and you will be limited to the knowledge you can have among creating your character.
Weapon Skills: Weapon Skills are for those who use weapons as much or more than their actual limbs in combat. This is everything from advanced movements to accuracy. If one has a high stat and uses a bow they could essentially never miss a stationary target and have increased accuracy towards a moving target. These fighters are typically spending their time honing their skills with just their weapon not focusing on hand-to-hand very much. A weapon skill can also be used such as explosives or a specific creation made to aide in physical hand-to-hand combat. These practitioners are the ones who typically do not have an affinity for telekinesis or weapons in general and instead use advanced tactics in order to keep up with those who do excel in those areas.
Ability Control: This stat is for those whom have telekinetic powers (humans), advanced powers (monsters), or body enhancements (Cyborgs) either in the from of creating and manipulating elements or in the form of moving objects with their minds. This is not only a stat for knowing how to control the powers you have it is also a stat that determines the power you can put behind your attacks. This stat can be left blank if your character has no actual abilities. The users of abilities will find this stat crucial against opponents who also have abilities, if your stat is lower the power behind your attacks will be weaker, and unless you are using a power that has a natural advantage over your opponents power than you will find yourself outmatched. Also even with a natural advantage if your stat is low enough in comparison you will still find yourself outmatched.
Justice: Justice is your willingness to save mankind in the face of danger. How you react when the lives of others are at risk, or how you react when given a choice. This tells the association how willing you are to help the citizens of this planet. You will get your initial ranking from the written portion of the exam, there is 10 questions and one essay. How you answer the questions will give you not only your score on the portion but will also give you a justice rank between 1-10. These questions are not right or wrong answers they are closer to multiple choice where every choice is correct but depending on the choice made you will get a number which will determine your final grade. This rank will change if you risk your life during your duties enough to prove to the association you deserve a higher rank, or if you choose to let others fall to protect yourself enough then this rank will drop.
~Battle Stats~
When in battle the stats you have will play a great part in who wins or losses, it will not be the only factor but it will be very helpful to have higher stats than your opponent. Below will list what advantage you hold over your opponent. So if your stats are significantly higher you will gain a large advantage against the opponent in that aspect of the battle, but this will most likely mean they have dedicated their character to another aspect meaning they will most likely have the advantage somewhere else, unless you are above them in rank. Stats max at 100, this means unless somehow your character can break this limit for a short time anyone who has 100 same as you will have a tie in stats. This limit increases at S-Class humans each stat then has a max of 120.
If you have 4 points higher in a stat than your opponent you gain a slight advantage in that aspect this means in a foot race you would win by a hair, or in arm wrestling it would take you a long time but eventually you would get his their hand down. If you have 10 points higher than your opponent in a stat you just gain a normal advantage, although still close the advantage is now more visible. At 15 points higher in a stat than the opponent it is then a moderate advantage, this would be a harder advantage to over come yet still very possible. At 30 points higher you will get a sharp advantage over your opponent, this is when the advantage becomes so much in your favor the opponent will have to find another aspect of the battle to control to gain an upper hand. With 50 points more than your opponent you will gain a great advantage, this means no matter how hard someone tries they will never beat you in this aspect, in fact they wouldn't be able to beat you in this aspect but a few tricks and they could surprise you still. At 100 points higher you will be at a significant advantage, this is likely the difference between a person who focuses on one aspect and someone else who focuses on many they will have almost no chance at gaining the upper hand in this aspect. Finally at 101+ points higher than the opponent you will gain an enormous advantage and this will become the aspect of the battle you will control, this is when all hope is gone, no matter their resolve and determination they will never gain the upperhand in this aspect. For every 10 points higher than a 101 point difference you will have an even more increased advantage.
