Quote: Kasrava Kasrava settled into the damp grass with a sigh. The night was young, and she was free of obligations. Her latest kill had been a success, but the time between sacraments was still so long. She hoped that word would soon travel, and that the Dark Brotherhood would reach and surpass it's former glory. She had recruited a few new brothers and sisters already, but their numbers were nowhere near her last sanctuary. No, they needed more. There was one mare in particular that she had been keeping an eye on. A ferocious creature that seemed to just be coming into her own. She was called Death, and Kasrava wanted her. However, the mare ignored every black paw print she sent. In hindsight, Kasrava realized that not everyone knew of the Dark Brotherhood's methods, but it was frustrating. She had finally decided to follow Death and extend the invitation to join their group. Now she just had to wait. Quote: Death Thinking back on it, Death blamed Iris. If they hadn't had such a huge fight earlier in the day, Death's head would have been clearer. But instead, she was stomping through the dark forest in an exasperated huff. Iris, ever the good angel, was continuously pushing Death to reclaim the name that should have been hers and to embrace her new life, free from Lux's grasp. But it wasn't that easy. None of that was remotely easy! She was raised to be a monster - a killing machine! She knew it was wrong but her baser instincts that she fought to keep buried craved blood. So much so that she had been considering leaving Iris for her own good. Iris would never abandon her, even if Death became dangerous, and that would ultimately lead to Iris getting hurt. And if she hurt Iris... Death didn't know what she'd do. Quote: Kasrava "A bit late to be stomping through the woods alone, hm?" Kasrava purred from her spot in the grass. She was practically invisible during the night - a benefit of both her coloration and 'Suti powers. Quote: Death Death froze and looked around. She could not see much due to her limited vision, and it had gotten considerably darker since she had left the cave dwelling she and Iris called home. "Who is there?" she growled. "Do not hide like a coward, face me," Quote: Kasrava Kasrava grinned and rose to her full height. Stepping into Death's line of sight, she willed the darkened shadows around her to lighten. Her body was faintly visible, but her glowing red eyes were bold and bright in the night.
"Coward?" she hummed. "Such mean words when we have only just met! Did your mother not teach you better?" Quote: Death Death bristled when the mare seemed to appear out of nowhere. She could tell that the stranger was dangerous, but, oddly, Death was unafraid.
"The only mare I ever called Mother turned out to be a lying, manipulative mass murderer.... I apparently have two dads anyway..." she bit out, staring at the mare. "Who are you and what do you want?" Everyone wanted something from her...
