Aliases: Shar, Gail (was the name Felix had originally wanted for her middle name. Sharika adopted it as a petname for herself because she thinks its prettier than Ashton)

Personality: Sharika is a "wild child" in every sense of the word. She likes nothing more than to run around outside, roll in the dirt, make messes, destroy things, and generally cause her mom and dad a headache. While she's a bit slow on the uptake for learning new things, once she's got the hang of it, she catches on quickly.

Despite her mother being the more tolerant and less-squeamish of her two adopted parents, Sharika is more partial to Felix and never misses an opportunity to spend time with him, no matter what HIS feelings might be about it.

The fact he managed to get married is a small wonder in itself. Though generally gentle and timid, when he feels cornered, Felix tends to overreact and lash out...something Ajhira would call his worst feature next to his 'net addiction.

Likes: Digging, burrowing, being submerged in the earth, heat, troublemaking

Dislikes: being wet, the cold, having to remain above-surface for extended periods

Personality: Now that the bond has strengthened between Sharika and Logarth, he has revealed his true nature. He spends most of his quality time with Sharika burrowing in the backyard and filling her head with all sorts of bad ideas. He's most definitely an instigator and seems to love nothing more than setting her off and then sitting back and watching the fun.

Toddler

Sharika, shortly after coming home with us from D-Corp. She's a rambunctious toddler who can't seem to refrain from getting into things. She managed to hold still long enough for a quick snapshot and then it was off to pull the drawers out of her mother's dresser...

Child

Sharika is proudly posing here with her assigned egg from the DCorp staff. They've informed us that it still needs to incubate for two months before hatching and then Sharika will need to begin the bonding process. ....they had never warned us a dragon was going to be part of the deal...

Preteen

The dragon has hatched....and has been sent home with us. And is DIGGING THE HELL OUT OF OUR BACKYARD OH GOD AUGH. ....at least Sharika is enjoying herself...

Teen

Our little girl is growing up...and after recently trying and failing to dye her hair green with Kool Aid, we had to bleach it to get some semblance of a normal color again. She doesn't seem to mind, though. She and Logarth are getting on much better now that the yard has been decimated to a sandpit after all of their digging killed all hope of ever having a garden.

As with any child, its important to be prepared for accidents and illness. With Sharika, doubly so. The bandages are in the most eye-scarringly colorful print available so that she won't protest wearing them.

These are Sharika's favorite toys (ie -- the ones that have not been destroyed yet). Needless to say, they are particularly durable and can most often be found decorating her bedroom floor.

Bathtime! There are three sponges because, at any given time, Sharika is always gnawing on one and throwing the other out of the tub, leaving the third to be used for actual washing.

Following a bath comes the arderous process of detangling Sharika's hair. This requires two combs, a brush, and letting her hold the mirror at all times. No matter how many times she hits you with it.

Before bed, Sharika gets her teeth brushed. She refuses to allow this to happen unless she is allowed to use her red toothbrush and wildberry toothpaste. We have not quite yet gotten through to her that the floss is not for eating...

At bedtime, Sharika curls up with her favorite ladybug blanket and a butterfly-print pillow. Sometimes she also sleeps wearing earmuffs, though no one really knows why...

If she is feeling especially agreeable, she will let you read to her. These are her books of choice.

A diary for when Sharika is old enough to use it properly. For now it is safely on the top shelf of the bookcase.
