Positive Traits:
Diligent
If Nian sets his mind to something, he will do his best to achieve it. He can focus for hours on subjects he likes or whatever he chooses to set his mind to.
Patient
Nian can be very patient with just about anything. He doesn’t mind waiting for his friends, food, almost anything to the point that he sometimes forgets what he was waiting for, but it also helps to keep him calm.
Caring
Nian cares for everyone. Be it friends, acquaintances, he will worry over you and make sure you’re ok and having a good time. While Nian is a generally calm person when around others, he can fret over his friends too much.
*Neutral Traits:
Friendly - Nian is all about making friends! The Imp will try his best to make a connection with someone, even if it is forced.
Creative - While the Imp doesn't do much other than doodle, he is very creative. It helps when he's trying to keep his friends entertained and he is thankful for that.
Negative Traits:
Childish
Nian can act like a freshling at times. He’s a bit of a sore loser and tends to whine when he doesn’t get his way, but he tries to keep it to a minimum.
Needy
Try as he might, Nian would rather be surrounded by friends than being alone. Not that he can’t handle being alone, he just finds himself calmer and less anxious surrounded by lots of friends. Sometimes he can just settle for sitting in a crowded place next to people he doesn’t know.
Moody
As calm as Nian tries to be, he can get into moods for no apparent reason. Whether he wakes up upset or he just ended up really sad even after having a good time with friends, he doesn’t like when he gets like this but it happens despite himself.
Likes: friends, eating, cooking, fresh air, animals
Dislikes: mean people, being alone for too long, being sad, bitter tasting things
Hobbies: Doodling, adventuring, reading

Brief Overview of their life so far:
All while growing up in the orphanage, Nian was pushed to make friends and be nice. Not that he minded, he just soon felt a bit empty if he was alone. He began to put his value in others and started to need to be with someone to feel comfortable. He constantly migrated from friend to friend so he wouldn’t annoy anyone too much with just being around them too long.
*There was no resentment that he was pushed to make friends. At first he was hesitant, but having friends filled a hole in him that he couldn't quite place. The more friends he had, or considered he had, made him feel better about himself.
Whether or not they're an orphan from the cache:
Nian is an orphan from the cache and was raised in the orphanage where he was able to meet a lot of fun people.
How their status as an orphan or non-orphan has effected them:
At first, Nian felt a bit sad about it, but he was surrounded by some many others who grew to be his friend and truly loved him for who he was that he didn’t mind it at all.
One event that changed their life or effected them:
When Nian first began to learn how to enchant things, he felt like he could actually do something more with is life. Not that he doesn’t love his friends, he just found magic so interesting and compelling that he wanted to learn more about it until he came across alchemy and felt that this was his calling.
*His diligence in his studies attracted a caretaker to extend their knowledge to him. They recommended books to read and walked Nian through the more intricate parts that he didn't quite understand on his own. This was an afternoon and weekend activity that they both could only partake in when they had the time. Eventually, Nian was able to take an elective class in alchemy and kept most of his focus there. He still takes some time to meet with the caretaker and talk about enchantments and learn more, but he is mainly focused on alchemy.
How they feel about their race and house:
Nian loves that Imps push for strong bonds with family and prompting to make friends with others and that’s because he loves to have plenty of friends. With his school, he enjoys alchemy immensely and tries his best to think about things logically. He would rather the house color be something more pink, since that's his favorite color, but that’s really his only complaint.
Their goals in life:
Though all Nian really wants is to be surrounded by friends, he does dream of one day being seen as a great alchemist and maybe even teaching alchemy one day. He also would love to have children and raise them and be their best friends. Maybe even start his own cartel.
*Nian isn't one to settle down with one person. He wants to be surrounded by people he love and those who love him. He'd rather raise the children he has with those they choose to have children with him. He doesn't plan to be a single dad.
*The Imp feels a little unfair if he shows more affection to one of his friends more than another, but he doesn't rule out a possibility of a person to come into his life that he considers a best friends. For now, everyone is his best friend.

RP Prompt Your Nightmare has just woken up on a day where they have class. What is their morning ritual? How do they get ready? Nian woke with a start, “I OVERSLEPT!” He fell out of bed, clutching his tail that he was cuddling with as he slept. He rubbed his sleepy, pale eyes trying to get his things together. It would have been easier if he hadn’t left his stuff strewn across his room in no discernible order. “Aaaah! Where is it!?” He couldn’t find his things. He was trying to clear the fog from his head and remember what classes he had today. He whined a bit as he rummaged through his things, wishing he had cleaned his room rather than stay up late with his friends. Or rather, he wish he had cleaned as they were hanging out. He piled up his bag and all the essentials next to the door, and almost headed out before remembering he hadn’t changed yet. The imp sighed heavily and dragged his sleepy self to find his clothes. He ran out of his room and made it to class in record time. Only to realize he was early…. And would have to wait a while for everyone else. “Not again…” he sighed, deciding to wait for class to start rather than moving his tired body anywhere else.

Appearance:
Would it be possible to get some references for the clothing? Just so we have a clear idea of what you would like. ((I had no clue what a bando was before this critique, lol))
Is the palette for the body or for the outfit? I'm slightly confused. Do you want other markings? And are the eyes and such CC?
Personality:
I'm having a slight issue with really getting a feel for your character, could you possibly add another trait or two? Maybe neutral traits?
What are some of his quirks?
How does he deal in situations where he isn't really "with" his friends and hanging out? Like during classes? How does he handle his anxiety?
Does he have a roommate (or more) or does he have a dorm room to himself? How does he deal with being alone? How about any familiars to keep him company?
How does he deal with mean people?
Backstory:
If he was pushed into making friends, was there any resentment? What made him go from being alone to being dependant on interaction?
"He would rather their color be something more pink, but that’s really his only complaint." What do you mean by this? Friends? What he's creating via his work?
Feelings on relationships? Any interest in that or does he want to be a single dad?
Any interest in having a single best friend or a posse?
When did he start to learn about enchanting? Was it a teacher or a caretaker that first taught him? If it was important, please tell me more!

On a typical night, Nian is staying out longer than he should with his friends and works on his homework and studies late at night because he wants the best of both worlds (good grades and lots of time to hang out with friends). He's usually running to class just before it's about to start and this time he got there early. If that's no good I can change it.

Added neutral traits (Creative and friendly) Whenever this poor Imp is nervous, upset, or afraid, he clutches his tail. It's very easy for someone to tell he's not ok if he's hold his tail. Its a bit of a security blanket for him. When he's talking with friends or not busy with anything in particular, Nian is figiting with anything he can get his hands on. He'll fold paper, play with loose strands of clothing, or just pick at his claws. When Nian is n't hanging out with his friends he likes to go to common areas where people are, even if he doesn't know them. He'll focus on one thing, like studying, to keep himself occupied. He finds it very difficut to study without some chatter in the background and when he must study by himself or in a quiet place he likes to put on ambient noise to focus. He doesn't handle his anxiety well. He tends to curl into a ball and hold onto his tail until he feels better or someone tries to help him out of his rut. He has 2 other roommates. He wouldn't want a room to himself and there's usually someone back in the room when he's there, but everyone has their own plans so he can end up alone in the dorm. If he'll either try to head out and meet with people or go to a common area with lots of people around so that maybe he could make a new friend. While it would benefit him to have a familiar, he currently doesn't have one. (I'd like to get him a familiar later to help him with his stress and anxiety and learn to handle being alone with the familiar. He'd also dote on the familiar he gets.) Nian isn't quick to pick up on hints and it usually take a person to say they don't want to hang out with him for him to leave them alone. He would blame it on himself and try to gather strength from his friends and beg them to reassure him that he isn't annoying and that they actually want to be around him. If someone was bullying him or insulting him, Nian wouldn't really stand up for himself. Justifying that he somehow deserved it and avoid the person that caused him the trouble. (Please let me know if there is anything else!)
