Nawiri hurt.
She hurt physically, mostly. With the weather changing again, her shoulder always hurt even when she soaked them in the warmer waters for as long as she could stand to be wet. Nothing was really helping lately. She tried not to be snappy, really, but sometimes harsh words came out before she could stop them.
The blue-violet lioness huffed a sigh, keeping the weight off her shoulder for now. She curled close to the den she shared with Sara, now empty of her cubs. They'd grown and wandered out of her life, starting her own.
She huffed another small sigh, pink eyes scanning the horizon for her wayward mate. She hoped none of her annoying bitterness had driven her mate away...

Saraneth came limping in today, but with a grin on her face. Or no, a half-grin. It was honestly hard to look at for everyone who had passed by her. She heard some whisper that she had been cursed by another, current, priestess, but she knew these as lies. She knew these as lies because she knew what it was she was afflicted by. She knew this because she had afflicted herself.
She could feel her limping side tingle rapidly, like she had gone through a patch of stinging needles, but it wasn't wholly unpleasant. In fact, there was no pain associated at all. Just the weird, tingling sensation and the tightness of her face and her side.
She was pleased. Too pleased.
"Nawiri," Saraneth croaked, feeling have her neck spasm as she tried to speak. "Nawiri, are you present?"

Nawiri's watchful eye on the horizon was not for naught, as she spotted her mate limping in. She sucked in her breath, concern enveloping her immediately. She moved to stand, jarring her shoulder enough to cause her to hiss at the sudden biting sensation.
"Sara, I'm here," She called back, concern only growing as she heard the state of Saraneth's voice. What had her mate done now? She hoped, or at least figured that whatever was involved wasn't life-threatening. hibi-tea Seaki Says: orz, sorry for the shitty reply.
