Whoop whoop! That's the sound of the police! Whoop whoop! That's the sound of the beast! Whoop whoop! That's the sound of the police! Whoop whoop! That's the sound of the beast. The red and blue spotlights spinning around the slightly dim arena, as well the familiar tune of the independent king, had revealed that Renegade Young was competing in action tonight. Since this match took place after Jaws's and Cyrus Leone's bout, fans were pleased to know Young would have a different opponent. Two squash matches in a row and an impressive showing in the Rumble after eliminating Chrono had created high hopes for the California Kid, especially for himself. Renegade was good at remaining humble and keeping his ego at the door, but he could not deny the pink cloud he was on. The transition from the indies to the World Wrestling Federation was going to be difficult, but it wouldn't be tonight until he was truly tested. He was going against the Royal Rumble winner and Wrestlemania main event bound Bad Boy. This would be a test to see where Young would stand among the talent pool of the WWF. He emerged through a smoke screen at the top of the ramp, his California flag draped over each shoulder as if it were a cape. He finally had a piece of merchandise available on the shop thanks to his recent success and huge pop at the Rumble, and he wore it proudly: a black hoodie with the California flag on the chest and "CALIFORNIA RENEGADE" underneath it. "... fighting out of Petaluma, California! Weighing in at 211 pounds... Renegaaaaaade Younnnngg!!" When he had shown himself at the top of the ramp, the pop grew louder. With a confident and grateful grin, he looked up to the crowd and nodded at their approval. Renegade began his determined march down the ramp and embraced the fans lightly slapping his chest and back. He hit a running start from the bottom of the ramp and hopped onto the apron before climbing onto the turnbuckle closest to him. Renegade grabbed his native flag with his hand and kissed it, then slapping his chest with his other hand multiple times and smiling ear-to-ear towards the audience, giving him a warm reception. The California Kid jumped down and draped his flag over the corner. He began running the ropes as the music died down and the lights came back on. This was a true test of skill and experience. What he would have to match the controversial Bad Boy was unknown, but the king of the indies had felt more prepared than ever. Would it be enough?

A bit of a wait was at hand, before the lights turned green and Strange Clouds by B.O.B started up. The crowd that was reacting huge to Renegade was now at a total 180 degree turn! The booing making the arena sound hostile, as Bad Boy strolled from the curtain onto the stage. He is wearing his Royal Rumble gear, the black tights with the green stripe and white trim around the waist, and this time his gear is correct with green dollar signs on the sides! A long with his usual black vest with green trim. He had his wooden cane resting on his right shoulder, and a microphone in his left hand.
Bad Boy stood at the center of the stage as the theme would slowly die down, the booing continuing however, which would make Bad Boy wait even longer at the top of the stage. Finally once the crowd dies down due to impatience and getting tired, Bad Boy started making his speech.
Bad Boy: Last week, was an example of just how this company has held me back, how this company has been conspiring against me ever since I came back! Despite having the company owned by Freakshow, a part of Fiscal Responsibility, the WWF made sure that our plans were outsourced! Not only that, they tried to put me against the man known as Bernhardt Rosenthal, a 6'5 angry German! However, despite all his anger and aggression, I was able to tame the dumbass and come out the winner as I always do!
Bad Boy raises up his fist with the wooden cane in hand, the crowd booing. Bad Boy would put the cane down to the ground and start walking down the ramp as he continued his speech.
Bad Boy: And the reason I was able to defeat Bernhardt? The same reason I was able to go, from Number One, ALL THE WAY to the last man standing in the Royal Rumble: I am simply the best wrestler alive today! And tonight I look to continue to make statement, after statement, after statement until Wrestlemania! I've already taken down one of my opponents in the Royal Rumble, and I will be able to take down one more!
Bad Boy got to the end of the ramp, and pointed up at his opponent for the night.
Bad Boy: RENEGADE YOUNG! Don't get it mistaken, I have indeed heard of your work! You're quite an impressive athlete and competitor, with quite the career! And you made your presence known at that very same Rumble match!
Bad Boy proceeded to walk up the steps, and stepped through the ropes.
Bad Boy: And your first moment in the WWF, is your biggest mistake! Your first moments were ALL on my accord, and if you think just because you got a little independent reputation, doesn't mean you go off on the best wrestler today without punishment!
Bad Boy stepped up to Renegade, getting face to face with him.
Bad Boy: Tonight, you get the honor of me, destroying your career, before it even starts!

From his first match and onward, Young had began nearly every match with a firm handshake. It was a show of respect to the person who had the balls to compete against the California Kid. But Bad Boy didn't warrant any respect. He didn't deserve to have his hand shaken and his foot kissed. Renegade Young felt that the Rumble winner deserved something else. So with that, the king of the indies went for a stiff smashing forearm to Bad Boy's cheek bone!

A loud thud is heard as Renegade's forearm caught Bad Boy in the face! Bad was turned a 180 degrees, stumbling away from the young superstar, holding his face! He made a very fast decision that he wasn't going to play around, as the ref turned to call for the bell to ring, Bad Boy, who never dropped the wooden cane, looked to use it as a weapon, and swung for the fences at Renegade's head!

The California Kid knew of how sinister and malicious Bad Boy could be. The last half of his career had established him as one of the dirtiest fighters and moral-free personalities in all of wrestling, let alone society in itself. Young was a split second away from getting his skull cracked by Bad Boy's wild swing, but luckily ducked the attempt. If Bad Boy's momentum was enough to spin him around, Young would go for a release German Suplex on his adversary!

Bad Boy's wooden cane went flying out of his hand after the powerful swing and a miss! Suddenly he felt Renegade wrap his arms around his waist, and was lifted backwards, and was driven on his upper back! The crowd exploding on this move! Bad was rolled to his feet, where he pushed back up, stumbling back to the ropes, with the "Fisticuffs" towards Young, not entirely sure what he'd do if Young were to be near him as he leaned back in the ropes!

The bell had rung immediately following Bad Boy's impact on the canvas. Renegade was excited and anxious to have his first true test in the World Wrestling Federation. Despite his antics, Bad Boy was an established elite wrestler and getting to fight him was an opportunity he was going to make the most of. The rising star went for an Irish whip to Bad to send him to the other side of the ropes and back towards him.

Bad was grabbed, and whipped towards the opposite ropes, bouncing off and running back to Renegade, seemingly helpless! The match against Renegade so far has gone pretty horribly for Bad Boy, getting beaten so early in the match that people notice he hasn't gotten time to take off his vest!

This was a time to show off athleticism. It would take an impressive vertical to be able to get the bottom of his feet to Bad Boy's face, but Renegade wanted to impress a worldwide audience and put his boot in the Rumble winner's mouth. He would look to do this by jumping up as high as he could and going for a dropkick to his opponent's face!

Bad Boy felt both feet hitting his jaw! Falling to his back, and rolled away from Renegade towards the ropes. He would grab the ropes and try to pull himself to his feet, still rather delirious, especially after being kicked in the face!

Renegade was high as ******** right now, and it wasn't on his native strain of weed this time. It was adrenaline and momentum, taking him to a mental state he had only felt a few times. Giving someone as famous and disrespectful as Bad Boy this kind of a**-whooping was making Young more and more confident that he had what it took to be a star in the wrestling business, more than just the indies too. He motioned for Bad Boy to rise multiple times. When the Wrestlemania main eventer would turn to him, Renegade would run from the other side of the ring and try to keep his momentum up by going for a clothesline to Bad Boy to dump him outside the ring.

Bad Boy had pulled himself up to his feet, leaning back into the ropes as he watched Renegade rush, bouncing off the ropes and back towards him. The younger age giving him quite the speed needed, being too fast for Bad Boy to react! The Clothesline connected, sending Bad Boy over the top rope, hitting the floor with both feet before tumbling back, rolling over to his stomach. The crowd on their feet cheering Renegade Young, who cleared the ring of Bad Boy!

Another opportunity to make a statement. Here was the number one contender for the WWF Championship, lying prone on the outside, while the rising Renegade stood in the center of the ring without a scratch on him. He was bouncing out of excitement on his feet, the crowd knowing exactly what he was up to. Young held onto the top rope with both hands, waiting for Bad Boy to stand as the referee began his count. Once Bad would rise, the California Kid would look to jump onto the top rope and bounce off, spinning in the air for a moonsault towards Bad Boy!

Bad Boy slowly pushed himself to his feet, suddenly things went quiet as he looked around to see where Renegade was. Turns out, when he looked up, he saw Renegade flying through the air in a back flip, right above him! The Moonsault connected! Bad Boy was dropped to the floor underneath Renegade's body! The crowd exploding once more, something rarely seen in the WWF, a huge high risk maneuver hitting Bad Boy on the outside!
