o.o Wow... that's rather spiffy.
I figured that abortion would be more dangerous than giving term birth, especially when you look at the actual methods for abortion.
At the very least, abortion is not humane, not to the mother, and not to the child. >> I don't see how anyone can call ripping anything living apart with pliers is humane (reference to the D & E procedure).
Saline abortion is inserting highly corrosive material into the fetus, but also the mother. Imagine if some of that stuff leaked out. It'd do major damage that'd do the mother's reproductive organs.
The abortion pill is known to have serious side-effects, including death.
Even the first trimester methods seem unorthodoxed to me as far as medical procedures go. Having a loop knife/vaccume/or a knife with a vaccume stuck up you doesn't seem like a pleasent thing to go through.
And partial-birth abortion also puts the mother at risk because part of the procedure is to put the baby into breach birth position (feet first), which directly endangers the health of the mother.
They say selfishness isn't bad. Well, look at crimes. Most, if not all, are linked to some form of selfishness. Murder, thievery, even white-collared crimes. I don't see how thinking only of yourself isn't bad. Yes, it's important to meet your needs, but one also has to realise that their actions DO affect others around them.
I feel sorry for those who don't realise that yet. Because later down the road when they're old and thinking back on their lives, that's gonna haunt them.

yes, i notice that it can't be statistically true for abortion to be less dangerous than pregnancy- aren't births like, 3 times more common than abortion? so if abortion kills half the number of people who give birth, abortion would still average out to more deaths due to the smaller demographic.

The number one thing that bothers me is that we fuss over capital punishment for criminals and promote giving them painless deaths or not killing them at all. However, we can't gurantee those same rights to an unborn baby?

Yes, that bothers me also. As well as the ones who want to help all those "poor" animals.

The problem is the thinking, whats disgusting is that this thinking is promoted in our society. A woman who is raped is comferted, a woman who is wraped and become pregant is pushed to abort and is comferted if she decides to. But if she chooses not to abort and carrey the child and keep the child as her own or put the child up for adoption, this woman is commonly viewd as a monster and deserves little to no pitty.
WOman are taught the opposit of what was once the norm. Woman are taught to beleive that unless she chooses the pregnancy, she is a prisoner. When what was once taught was that she was soon gogin to preform one of the greatest miracle of all, bringin life into the world. And that she should be over joyed.
They are taught that there are million of unwanted children in this world. The problem with this statement is that it ignores logical fact, that being that every child is wanted by some one, no matter what race, age, gender, or condition the child is. There are indeed unwanted children in this world, children unwanted by the one who birthed them. These children are not completly unwanted how ever. The only responce they have for this is their own personly beliefes, which they frequently tell us have no place in this debate.
