Zanpaktou Sealed Form Physical Description: A Wakizashi that has a blade of 20 inches and the hilt of about 10 inches.
Zanpaktou Shikai Release Phrase/Name: Fang of the poison dragon, pierce my enemies, Doku Ryuge (Posion Dragon Fang)
Zanpaktou Shikai Physical Description: The blade glows purple and extends to a full length Katana, measuring 26 inches long. The blade then becomes engulfed in dark purple, almost black, flame.
Zanpaktou Shikai Abilities:
- "Purple Flames": The blade of Hyousuke's zanpakuto is constantly engulfed in a dark purple fire that burns whatever it cuts severely. Hyousuke can also shoot purple fire at a target with a swing of his zanpakuto 3 times consecutively and then is unable to do this again for 3 posts.
- "Poison Fang": Hyousuke's blade is coated with a poison that enters the bloodstream of whomever he cuts from their wound. This poison slowly numbs the body from wherever they are cut and slowly spreads through the rest of their body. Once fully numbed, it feels as if their whole body is on fire, causing agonizing pain. It takes about 10 posts for the body to become numbed and by the 11th post their body starts to feel the burn. From there they feel like they are being burned alive for 2 posts, by the 3rd post the poison will have left their system and they become immune to the poison on Hyousuke's blade for 10 posts, so if they get cut within these 10 posts they will not be affected by the poison. However, they still may be burned by the purple fire if cut.

Bankai Name: Doku Ryu no Buresu (Breath of the Poison Dragon)
Bankai Physical Description: When Bankai is activated the sword changes size and shape. The blade extends to 32 inches long and the hilt, from the palm of Hyousuke's hand, grows longer and wraps around his right arm all the way up to his shoulder. From the end of the hilt now wrapped up the the shoulder, a dragon like wing grows serving as a type of defense against attacks from behind and the wing is resistant to fire.
Bankai Abilities:
- "Purple Dragon's Breath": Unlike in his shikai, Hyousuke's blade in Bankai is not constantly engulfed in a purple flame. When Hyousuke swings his sword it absorbs large amounts of his spirit energy and then releases a shot of purple flame. If this purple flame burns skin it doesn't catch on fire. It leaves a poisonous burn mark that slowly eats away at the flesh from the wound. This shot can only be shot once every 2 posts.
- "Iron Wing": By focusing his spirit energy into the wing on his right shoulder it can grow to the size of his body and become harder than steel to block an attack from behind. This ability can be used once ever 3 posts.
- "Dragon's End": As a last resort, Hyousuke engulfs his entire zanpakuto, from blade to the wing on his shoulder, in the purple flames. At the same time the flames are empowered by absorbing large amounts of his spirit energy. With a single swing of his sword he releases all of his purple fire in a single blow, everything 1 mile long and 100 yards wide in the direction of his swing is consumed by the purple flames. After this attack, no matter how long his Bankai has been active, his zanpakuto returns to its sealed state and Hyousuke's right arm is left burned and unusable causing him unless unimaginable pain. For 30 posts Hyousuke's right arm becomes immune to any type of healing technique. After that his arm can be healed and restored to normal, if a strong enough healing kido/technique is used.
