Emerging from his basket into the world around him had been a wondrous thing to him and it just so happened it had been when the stars had been full in the night sky, their eerie glow illuminating against the pitch sky. Everything was as bright as day because of the moon that shone just as bright above him and his baskets. And thus he was named, Neon Twilight. Even more exciting was the fact he had a brother who had been born first and a sister! He had siblings with whom he could enjoy his time with. So many thoughts had scurried through his mind but rest called to him and soon it was daytime and everything was new and shiny to him. He wanted to play. With a flick of his tail he pranced over towards where his sister was sleeping and nudged the side of her neck ever so gently so as to not disturb her wings. "Wake up." He whispered. "Stella, let's go exploring!" He said with a hushed tone, not wanting to wake up any of the others that may be sleeping. He looked around for mother but didn't see her.
Where had she gone? His golden orbs flashed as he gazed around and he looked down at his sister once more and pranced around her in a circle excited for the day. The air was light with spring on it's mind and a very gentle breeze brought with it the scents of flowers and other fascinating things. He wanted to see them all and smell them all! His little nostrils flared slightly with the thought of what they might find out there, in the world around him. He suddenly felt small at the thought of it. He was already small as it was, but how big was everything? His little mind was racing and he wasn't really sure what to do with all the thoughts in his head. "What would you like to do first?" He asked his sister as he came to a stop in his prancing and looked at her, now that she was awake.

She was in a deep slumber, dreaming about gliding through the sky and looking down at the world below. As she slept she had a huge smile on her face and her legs twitched about as if she was flying. She was circling and turning around puffy white clouds, she could feel the wind within her mane as she flew about. As she was about to fly underneath a rainbow, her dream was disturbed. The rainbow disappeared and soon the dream of flying has ended.
Stella felt a nudge at her neck. She mumbled incoherent words under her breath as she was awoken by her brother. She turned her head slightly to look at him with a sleepy gaze. What did he want? It was not day. She thought as she looked up at the star filled sky and the moon which hung high up.
"What do you want? Better be good. I was having a nice dream!" she grumbled. She had fallen asleep not to long ago, to be awaken so suddenly. She huffed and her small little flutter wings twitched under the gentle breeze of the night. Stella got up and stretched her front legs "Explore? Would mother be happy about that?" she said as she looked around for her mother. No one was in sight besides their elder half-sister who was sleeping peacefully.
Where was mother? She tilt her head "Where is mother?" she said in a low hushed voice. Careful not to wake Eternal Sonata. Where could she had wondered off too?

Unlike his siblings, he had no flutter attributes that adorn his lithe form, however he had the ability to shrink like them still. Though he would not find that out until later on. For now though he was content with how things were and golden orbs flashed over towards Eternal Sonata to ensure she was still asleep. "You can dream whenever you like!" He whispered, "Besides, we can only go exploring like this only so often! Do you wanna go with me or not?" He asked her with a semi-serious look on his face. If they wanted to leave they would have to do it soon. At her remark of where mother was he gave a shrug of his little shoulders. "I woke up and she was gone." He said as he pranced away from his sister and looked back towards her.
"Well, you can come with me or stay. It's up to you! I don't plan on going very far.." He said with hushed giggle as he waited a few moments more and then pranced away towards one of the fields that was nearby. He really wasn't going to be going all that far. He didn't want to be responsible for getting his sister and himself lost right from the start after all. With a happy kick of his hooves he pranced into the meadow and inhaled deeply. It was full of honeysuckle and the scent of it was so appealing to him and he couldn't resist the urge to smell them all!

 Stella felt unsure, she had been told not to wander off by mother and their half-sister who lay sleeping would be quite upset if they wander off on her watch. She wanted to deter her brother but she also didn't want to be a total buzzkill either. She sighed and rose up from the ground, her little wings stretching from her awaken slumber. Stella complied with her brother and followed after him to explore some, maybe they'll stumble upon mother, though they'd have to be cautious. Scent of honeysuckle filled her nostrils leaving her in a bliss state as they frolicked in the meadow.
"Heeey...!" she called out after him "Wait for me!" not wanting to be left behind.WC - 119

The sound of his sister calling to him to wait up made him slow down his gate and look behind him, tail shifting happily behind him as he watched her hurry to catch up to where he was. He wondered what they would try and do while their sister was sleeping and they had free range of the surrounding area. His ears swiveled at the thought and he gave his sister a toothy grin as she came close. "What do you want to do?" He asked her bounding around her an almost deer like frolic.
He figured they could go pick some flowers or find some fruit trees to eat but since she was coming along as well it was only fair that he asked her what she wanted to do. He admired her gossamer wings with a tinge of envy but pushed the thought from his mind. He was a little jealous she could fly but he still loved her non-the-less. Not having wings wasn't going to change that fact. He looked pretty average compared to his siblings but he supposed it wasn't all that bad.
"I was thinking we could go check out some of the flower fields nearby, what do you think?" He asked her as he looked around for the closest one with the most flowers. He wanted to smell them all and perhaps bring some back for their mother. Would that be considered being a mommas boy? He didn't think so, he wasn't trying to butter her up though it would be nice to have something to bring back to her in case she found out they had left. Which he was sure she would anyway. At least this way they'd have something to give her and perhaps she wouldn't be so mad that they had sneaked away while their older sister was sleeping.
He had thought about waking their brother too but really wanted to just spend time with Stella without him. Sure it may look like favoritism but she was a lot more fun to hang out with sometimes. Though he wouldn't try to do the same things with her that he did with their brother, she was dainty in his eyes and would kick himself if anything every happened to her and it was his fault. BUT, that was neither here nor there at the moment and he spotted a pretty decent looking field not too far north of where they currently stood. It would probably only take them a couple minutes to get there with their tiny legs.
Perhaps she could practice flying? That would be wonderful to see! Though he knew nothing about wings or flying and couldn't possibly be any help there.
