Lunaris Forest::Trees tower hundreds of feet in the air here, covering Lunaris Forest in a calming shade. Vines weave themselves around large trunks to curl around and up towards the Heavens. Deer, rabbits, and other game call the forest their home, providing the Varsythe with a large variety and ample supply of food. Small puddles of water for drinking linger in the gentle dips of the forest floor from the fresh rain that falls regularly. A stream runs along the East, causing a small break in the treeline, and offers fresh fish for the agile.Howlshire Meadow::Howlshire Meadow is a lush, hilly landscape that sits next to the water's edge. Although there's contest for territory here along the Northern river, fish are plentiful, and the Packs that live along the water are able to get their fill of what the ocean has to offer. It rains quite often more inland, but never for too long. The land here is covered in flowers and wildlife, offering the perfect, peaceful place to raise pups. Towards the winter season, the land becomes full of prey as the herds migrate, making their way from the Haven Plains down to the warmer coast in the South.Solaris Island::Solaris Island is a warm, tropical place, surrounded entirely by the ocean. The Packs that reside on this island have lived there for centuries, most individual families going back generations. There are not many newcomers to the island due to the surrounding water, but every once in a while one turns up if the tides run low enough. The Varsythe here survive mostly on the plentiful fish from the water, but they also enjoy large birds who come to feed on the ocean's bounty.Haven Plains::With patches of coarse grass and dirt scattered across the ground, Haven Plains offers both large seas of grass as well as dry, rocky ground towards the North. Being along the invisible line that marks the Vileclaw lands from the Vurfang's southern territories, it's known for periodical skirmishes as well as a constant contest for land. Packs from this region tend to be a little leaner than those of the South, as they must work harder to catch game on the open plains. Along the river that cuts the fields in half, trees line the sides, bringing both fruit and small birds. Those who reside closer to the Lunaris Forest enjoy a few fish, although they're not as plentiful as those who live near the shorelines. Those who live on the other side -- closer to the Zephyr Fields -- enjoy the fish migrating upstream towards warmer waters. Zephyr Fields::Zephyr Fields is a place covered in tall grass, with centuries-old trees shading the stream towards the west. This is a place known for peace, and thus the territory is contested among Packs preparing to raise newborn Varsythe. White, sandy beaches surround the Eastern coast, offering a place for quiet contemplation. With turtles and sea-snakes venturing onto land, the Packs here have more variety to choose from prey-wise. Because of the long stretches of land without tree cover more inland, most Packs here enjoy rabbits as well as other small game for their main food source. Aleth Isles::The Varsythe rarely venture here except in times of brutal weather or lean starvation, as this chain of islands is hard to get to, and even harder to escape. Although when the sea level drops, there's a sandbar leading to the Isles, rough tides threaten to drown the unwary. And though many sea lions venture here, the Packs must weigh the risk of food against their lives. Even in winter, the Isles are warm, and the waters that surround them are more bearable than those on the West Coast. Because of its location, the Isles are smack in the middle of the Vurfang and Vileclaw territory, and thus are usually given a wide berth, save for the very desperate. Shattered Rift::This is a place known for nothing but death and privation. Not a single thing grows here, and the land to either side of the giant, gaping chasm is scorched, scarred by the White Alpha's curse. At one point in time, the few two-legged who live in the lands attempted to build a bridge numerous times, but always it fell without reason. Varsythe mostly skirt around the edges of the Rift, knowing that deep within the bowels of the Earth, something furious and hungry lurks. A river to the far West offers a way of crossing the gorge, but not many attempt it; to go near the Rift willingly is to incite the White Alpha's wrath.Lothium Woods::Like the Lunaris Forest to the South, the trees here are hundreds upon hundreds of years old, but these trees tower almost with menace. The Woods are often far too quiet, and the small deer and game that live here attempt to move without sound, making the hunting a bit more difficult. While it offers much-needed shade in the summer months, winter brings death and a biting cold to the Lothium Woods, and the Packs that live here are sturdier, with thicker coats so they can survive the harsh freeze. The Woods surround a serene lake whose name has been forgotten by even time, but here the Varsythe find peace. The lake is full of stock, and even in the later parts of the year, the waters don't freeze over, making its tree-filled shores an ideal place to raise pupsFellwolf Island::A large mountain presides over the South side of the Island, its rocky face casting a shadow upon the gentler Northern plains. The Varsythe that live here hunt only sea life and small game, save for the mountain goats that live on the towering mount. Fellwolf Island is home only to Vileclaw, and they have lived there for many generations, though a few are able to brave the sea and cross back and forth to the mainland. Thankfully, a small river cuts through the Island, offering cool, fresh water and a place where all prey must come to drink. Erroxus Wastelands::According to legend, it was here where the Outcast Omega defied the White Alpha, and in their battle, the land despaired so much at the Shattering of the Pack that it grieved itself to death. No warm, lush grasses linger here, only rocks and dry, tiny rocks that get caught between the pads of paws. Prey is very scarce here, though along the river to the North, lean, gangly elk can be found. The lands to the East are more gentle, though there is a heavy presence here, making Varsythe wary and on-edge at all times. However, some are brave enough to raise their litters here, and those grow up to be lean and careful. A forest grows along the Eastern shore, and only here are the Wastelands more bearable. The flora doesn't bloom as much, the fauna aren't as fat and plentiful, but at least here, one can eat without feeling as if they're being constantly watched.Bleakburn Crags:: Fire and ash cover the spires here, offering little life and less shelter for the wild, brutal Varsythe that call this place home. Bleakburn Crags are always bellowing smoke, sometimes so much that it blocks out the sun, and the heat is too extreme for plants, save dry, brown tufts that dot the crags. A lake towards the South offers the only source of fresh water, so Packs congregate mostly around its shores, save to go out hunting. Only small mammals and birds live here, and the Varsythe eke out a meager living by just barely scraping by, though they are known well for being fierce. Mount Khezid::Many Packs live in the gentle shadow of Mount Khezid, though none have ever braved its interior. Within it, something lurks, something narrow-eyed and dangerous, raising the hackles of any who cross in front of the open, hungry mouth of the cavern on its South face. Gentle, rolling hills surround the giant of a mountain, and deer range freely here, though they head South in the colder seasons. Rains are heavy in Spring here, offering a place where Varsythe can raise their pups in the ever-watchful Mount Khezid, and Summer and Fall bring prey heavy with young.xxxxx ☽ тнє нёaят оf тнё Pacк шїll мєиd ☾ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ɪғ ᴛʜᴇ ᴏᴜᴛᴄᴀsᴛ ᴏᴍᴇɢᴀ ғᴀʟʟs.
