The hunter's jubilee event had ended awhile back and Chessy had felt particularly invigorated by it - while attending the event, she came across a grimm there. Despite her shyness, the imp found her endearing and had quickly befriended her. Meeting the femme had been delightful to Chessy; she particularly enjoyed how Delilah was such a stark contrast to herself. And to make things better, she also discovered that they shared a major and thus were in classes together! The revelation had caused her to look out for Delilah, and when she saw they shared a class, she would reposition herself so she sat behind or next to Delilah.
Today, she decided, would be one of those days where it'd be hard to focus. Resting her chin on her hand, she didn't pay much attention to the professor and instead doodled small swirls and trees in her notebook until she got a glorious idea - Why not go have a small fun outing - get some tea, maybe do a little shopping. And she, of course, could use a sidekick for it.... She lifted her head up slightly, gazing at the grimm sitting infront of her. Quickly writing something on a bit of her notebook paper and quietly tearing it, Chessy casually tapped Delilah on the shoulder and handed her a small note, which had the following written in a smooth, curvy handwriting: "I'm going to Stellarbucks after class. Would you be interested in joining me~?"

 Delilah liked having Chessy around... it was nice having a FRIEND who went out of her way to sit nearby! 'Lilah'd never been the sort to push herself at others, so she never wanted to sit next to someone specifically unless they hinted they'd like her to do so. Given that she was often one of the earlier arrivals to classes, this wasn't exactly the most common occurrence. Having Chessy around meant she... didn't have to feel lonely, or alone. It was really awesome.
'Lilah had been taking notes, quietly. The lesson today seemed to be perfect for working out how to layer illusions over clothes, she thought, so she wanted to get it right. When the tap came, she jumped, JUST a little, and turned, startled. When her brain caught up that it was Chessy, though, she relaxed and smiled at her friend, taking the note. She read it over, and blushed a bit, happy to be invited. She wrote, in a neat and concise handwriting, 'I'd love to join you! Thank you!' and carefully slipped it back.

Getting the note back, Chessy's eyes seemed to light up at reading the response. "Awesome~" she said softly, just loud enough so only Delilah would be able to hear. She was genuinely happy and a little surprised that her high-energy was not a deterrent to the grimm. The imp was sure that by now, Delilah would have gotten a little frustrated with her. Regardless, it was a date (winkwonk)! Slouching back in her seat, Chessy kept her eyes trained on the time as she gnawed on her pen; her mind wandered on to think about how today would turn out. Would she and Delilah have a ton of fun? Ooo, did Delly like tea or coffee?! Did she like shopping - well she is a fashion major too, so probably? - would she humor Chessy with the idea of shopping after going to Stellarbucks? Eyes flicking from professor to clock to notes to professor...over and over, she was waiting anxiously for the lesson to end... Overall, today was just not her day to focus on schoolwork.
So when the professor finished up and wrapped up the lesson, she tossed her notes, pen, and any other miscellaneous belongings into her messenger bag as quickly as she could and slung it over her shoulder before directing her attention at Delilah. "Ready to go?" she asked, smiling.

'Lilah smiled happily, hearing Chessy's response, and her fluffifferous tail flickered in a small, happy bit of a wag. This was awesome, and the rest of class passed quickly, as she was excited. She had a vague idea her notes might confuse her somewhat later, but she had faith in herself that she could clarify the issue. The book for this class wasn't THAT bad, and so she'd deal later. She shoved the book in her bag, as soon as Prof started their wrap up.
When the Prof finished, she shoved her pens in her pencil case. The pens were all designed to look like stylized magic wands and her case was a black case with a stylized Star in a similar art style. She pushed the case and her notebook into her own messenger bag, which was clearly home made, a pink cloth in a similar color to her pens, with hand embroidered patches to look like moons and stars. "Yes!" She smiled, shyly but happily, at Chessy. "Been awhile since I went to Stellarbucks. Sounds good."

The imp noted her friend's unique style; the cute magic wand pens, and the similar case with matching stars...and the bag. How precious! It made her glimpse down at her own clothes - while similiar colors, the stockings were mismatched and her skirt had rips and tears from when she used to be active and play tennis. And her messenger bag was certainly starting to look ratty. Perhaps it would be good to take the grimm shopping with her...or suggest it at least. She scratched her neck a little, feeling strangely meek compared to her loud nature.
Of course, the moment of meekness didn't last long. Seeing Delilah finish packing and annouce she was ready, Chessy grinned from ear to ear. "Good! Then leeeet's goooo~" she said in her usual sing-songy tone. She looped her arm around Delilah's comfortably, settling on resting her hand on the grimm's elbow. Pulling her very gently, she nudged Delilah to follow, leading her through the university's corridors to the outside. Reaching the outside, she sucked in a deep breath, enjoying the weather before continuing on in the direction of Stellarbucks. By now, she knew the location by heart. Hell, she could walk there with her eyes closed!
Tilting her head so she could look at the grimm she had so comfortably locked into her grip, she smiled. "So, Delly, you're in fashion too, right?" she asked idly, to make casual conversation during the trek. "After Stellarbucks, wanna go clothes shopping or something...? A new store opened nearby, I believe~"

'Lilah had no idea what was going on in her friend's head regarding her clothing. She honestly thought Chessy had a unique, and pretty, sense of style. Rips and mismatched weren't bad, done right, after all! She brushed her hair off her face, and smiled happily at Chessy's arm in hers. She felt so relaxed and comfortable with Chessy, at this point, it made her happy.
"All right!" She laughs in delight at the eagerness and follows her outside. The feeling of the warmth on her skin made her turn her head towards the sky, a smile on her face. "It's so nice out... not too hot. I think an iced coffee sounds amazing. Or maybe an iced tea latter. What do you think?" Like any uni student, caffeine was as much a part of her blood stream as her blood was at this point.
"Mmm? Yes, I am..." She blinked, surprised at the mention of a new store. How had she MISSED... oh wait, right, she was too busy studying color theory, and the like. She hadn't been looking at new shops in awhile. "Ohhhh a new store? That sounds wonderful! I haven't been shopping for anything but supplies in FAR too long!" She beamed at Chessy, and bounced on her toes a bit in excitement.DeeJaye NO WORRIES I know how that goes. D: My muses can be buttheads too!

Likewise for Chessy; something about the grimm was incredibly relaxing to the normally hyperactive imp - and hanging out with Delilah always put her in a good mood. Hearing Delilah debate over what sort of drink she should get, she replied, "Nothing wrong with an iced drink. And weather's perfect for one too. Not too much a fan of coffee or espresso, but lattes are nice every now and then... I'll probably get some green tea, myself." While many students were fond of coffee, she knew herself to be rather energetic already, so she generally went for something with less caffeine in it - plus, the more subtle taste of tea was refreshing to the femme.
Chessy grinned wide. "Good, good. Then that means it'll be super fun and stuff. Everything'll be fresh and all~" she giggled. Hearing that had made her giddy a little, and extra excited for shopping... Hopefully they would be able to have a lot of fun. And... Chessy couldn't help but imagine Delilah dressed up in some cute clothes and... she shook her head a little, trying to dismiss the idea from her mind.
Rounding the corner, she could see the Stellarbucks. As they reached it, she held the door open for Delilah, and slipped in after her.

"Green tea is nice too." She agreed, smiling quietly and slipped into Stellarbucks. When they were both inside, she leaned back, just a little, against Chessy for a moment, clearing have a shy-attack, as it was pretty crowded at the moment. The line wasn't bad, but there were a lot of people at the tables and in the comfy chairs between the door ant the counter. Then she realized what she was doing, and that Chessy might not be ok with that. "Oh! Suh-sorry, Chessy!"
She blushed and straightened up, ducking her head a little. She knew Chessy was her friend, but being leaned on was more then a little overly friendly! She brushed her hair back again, and moved towards the front, trying to cover her embarrassment as best as she can.
