For his thirteenth birthday, his parents gave him his first camera and that was the end of that. He never went anywhere without it, and still doesn't go anywhere without some kind of camera. He doesn't like to rely on his phone camera but it'll do in a pinch.
Fixing up his motorcycle, working on cars
Jadyn LOVES his motorcycle. It's in his favorite color (red) and he loves to work on it and clean it. His job while he's studying is working in a garage. He loves to work with his hands and to figure out what's wrong with a vehicle or how to make it run better.

Jadyn has always been a fairly happy kid, friendly and outgoing. He was one of the popular kids in middle and high school, but he never let it change who he was. He made friends with everyone, despite their "social status." He's still that way, able to make friends with just about anyone. If he's having a bad day, he might be less than friendly, but it's more like he just keeps to himself more. He tries not to snap at people if he can help it, but sometimes it happens. He also tries not to judge people by their appearances; he likes to meet new people and make friends and discounting someone just because of how they choose to dress is dumb to him, so he doesn't do it. See: Having a Bad Day lol Other reasons are he's stressed out or upset by something else that happened (for example, a fight with his sister or a friend, or getting a bad grade on an assignment/test). When he's feeling less friendly, he's generally more reserved but he can also be sullen or snappish. Jadyn doesn't really think about what other people expect of him. It can startle him if someone mentions how cheerful he usually is if he's in a bad mood. It can make him feel a little worse, but it's not really something that bothers him too much. If he's cheerful, then good, if he's not then everyone else can suck it up because everyone has bad days.

Jadyn is exceedingly loyal. He will do pretty much anything for someone he considers a friend and especially for his family. He won't break the law, but other than that he would do everything in his power to help. He doesn't like to lie, and he doesn't like to keep secrets, but if someone he cares about asks him to keep a secret he will. If someone he cares about asks him to lie, it would depend on the lie and who he'd have to tell it to. If it's for a surprise or something similar then he's okay with it. (Except he's also really bad at lying. His voice goes up in pitch when he lies.) Loyalty and honor were things his father was adamant about and Jadyn tries his hardest to live up to that. He wants to make his father proud even though he's passed on. He knows that not everyone is honorable or loyal, but he will treat people as though they are until he's proven wrong.

Jadyn is willing to try pretty much anything at least once. When he was younger, his mother always asked him "How do you know you don't like it if you don't try it?" Since then he's always been up for trying anything. This includes foods as well as activities, etc. Because of this, he considers himself something of a Jack of All Trades as he knows a little about a lot of things. He's tried everything from exotic foods to fixing his own plumbing to fixing a hole in his wall.

He is extremely supportive of his family and his friends. He's always interested in hearing about their dreams and goals and he likes to help any way he can, even if it's just talking to them about it. This also works when a friend is in a bad situation, especially if they want out of it. Jadyn will always do what he can to help, even if it's just lending an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. If he thinks that what his loved one wants will end up putting them in a bad or dangerous situation, he wouldn't support it. (Staying in abusive relationships, etc) If they're doing something he disagrees with, he'll try to talk them out of it. In either situation, he'd try to understand their reasons for doing whatever it is and try to talk them out of it, or at least give them other options. If he doesn't succeed in changing their mind/talking them out of it, then the best he can do is promise to be there if they need him. He won't actively support them in something that could be dangerous for them. If it's just something that he disagrees with, then it depends on what it is how much he'd support them.
Flaws: [-]Stubborn
If he's got something in his mind that he wants, or that he's going to do, there isn't a whole lot that will move him from it. He's also stubborn about his friends, meaning he trusts them implicitly and refuses to believe anything bad of them unless it's proven beyond the shadow of a doubt. If it's too expensive, or not really a good idea (which has to be proven to him by someone he trusts) then he'll start budging and will eventually give up. Things that concern his motorcycle or his photography he's generally more stubborn about. He can also be more stubborn about his friends and family. Proven beyond the shadow of a doubt to Jadyn means someone had to practically shove it in his face or prove it right in front of him. For him to get to this point with someone, he has to know them for a while (usually at least a year). He's this way with only the few people he counts as friends, as well as his sister.
[-]Emotionally Guarded
Since the death of his parents, Jadyn had been much more guarded with his emotions and tends to keep them all bottled up inside and hates to talk about them. Yes, this does occasionally end up with Jadyn blowing up. When this happens, he usually apologizes for it and feels bad that he blew up. But he'll end up doing it again, most likely. He's slowly getting better with this, but it happens most often when he's got a crush on someone or if he's angry. He is less guarded with the people he knew before they died. When he blows up, it doesn't last long. It's usually him getting fed up with keeping what he feels inside and saying it all in one go. Once he's got it out, he usually calms down and apologizes for blowing up, but not always for what he said. Other than that, calming him down usually entails letting him alone for a few minutes. He doesn't generally open up to people he just met, and it can take a couple months for him to open up to someone he doesn't know very well.

Despite his extremely friendly trait, Jadyn also has a temper. The one thing guaranteed to piss him off is someone threatening his friends and loved ones. He doesn't tolerate that well and will fight if he has to. Other things that can spark his temper are being proven wrong, or being embarrassed in front of people. Usually when this happens, he won't verbalize it. He'll say something sarcastic and leave to be by himself until he calms down. He has been known to hold grudges against people, but over time he lets go of it. He has been known to punch the walls in his room, usually if something happens that he can't do anything about. It doesn't come up often, but he's extremely protective of his friends and family. He tends to get angry, and get in the person's face. It's usually him getting angry which can be fairly obvious from his face and his body language. He doesn't like to get violent with people, but if he does it tends to be verbally first and physically only if he's pushed that far. Usually it just takes time for him to let go of a grudge, but it can happen if the person does something to make Jadyn re-think holding the grudge. So far there hasn't been a grudge he hasn't been able to let go of.

His Mind to Mouth filter doesn't work so well. Generally if he thinks it, he'll say it. He's gotten a lot better about this over the years, learning that some things need to be kept to himself. But he's definitely not perfect at this and things will tumble out of his mouth all the time before he realizes what he's said. He knows this can be a problem for him, and it has caused problems for him in the past, but he's still working on it. Secrets are usually safe with Jadyn. He doesn't like keeping them, but if he's been entrusted with them then it's not his business to share them with someone else. He feels like little white lies can sometimes be necessary, but he tries to avoid them. Also, he's not very good at lying. Most of the time, he'll catch a filter failure....after it's failed. Sometimes it needs to be pointed out. He's usually apologetic, but it doesn't always help.
