When Tsiana opened her eyes she found herself in a small cave. A sliver of light creeped through the entrance. The entrance had been blocked by a large rock. She tried remembering what had happened. There was a sick cheetah who she helped and he tricked her. She remembered seeing the guard and feeling confused. Then the guard knocked her out.
It made her feel sick. She knew that this group could be anyone, but her gut instinct felt that the Sith were behind this. It was strange though. She thought that a sith would want her dead, not captured. Captured was better though. It would give Drox plenty of time to find her. The jedi would not abandon her.
Her attention went to the entrance of the den. The boulder was being pushed aside by two guards. She slowly got up to try and escape, but her legs buckled under the pressure. Right now she was too weak to run.
Walking into the den was a large dark colored lion. He looked down at her with a delightful grin on his face. “Hello Tsiana. I am glad that you found your way to us.” He said in a calm voice. The lion sat in front of her. His voice was quiet, but commanding. “I apologize about our methods. It was the best way to get you here.”
“How do you know my name.” Tsiana asked. She hadn't even told it to the cheetah that had tricked her.
“Why don't I introduce myself first. That way we will both be on equal footing. My name is Majanga, Lord of the Sith. It is a pleasure to finally meet you Tsiana, padawan of Drox and one of the Jedi's youngest seers.” He gave her a knowing grin. “I am sure that you have heard about me from your mentor Drox. I have a long history with him.”
Drox had never mentioned Majanga by name, but Tsiana knew that he had been an apprentice to a sith lord before turning to the light side. It had never bothered her. There was no one she trusted more than Drox. “No he never mentioned you.” She answered. “You must not have had as big as an impact as you thought you did.”
His face remained confident and relaxed. “I guess it will be my duty to catch you up then. I found Drox as a scared little cub who would have died if I hadn't come along to keep him safe. He was my first apprentice. At the time he was the closest thing I had to a son.” Majanga explained. “I cannot explain the betrayal I felt when he left me. It was like a little piece of me was taken away.”
“He is much happier away from you. I do not know what he was like before he was a jedi, but I can tell you that he enjoys living there.” She fired back.
“In a way I am glad that he left. Leaving has stunted his growth. He will never be as strong as he could have been if he stayed. However, his departure has made the sith what it is today. I wouldn't be as driven to destroy the Jedi and finally combine the Jedi and Sith into the pride it was destined to be.” Majanga stood up. “When I heard about you I was surprised. You are the perfect piece to help me bring down the Jedi and get my revenge on Drox. What are the chances that Drox's apprentice was a seer. And not only that but the daughter of Ahaz and Atino.”
How much did he know about her? It was frightening. She wondered if the Sith Lord knew this much about the other Jedi. “Who told you all of this.”
“I am not the only one who wants our prides to be one. There are jedi who would like to return balance to the force. They sought me out and all I asked for was their cooperation. They would be my eyes and ears among the jedi. In return, when the Jedi finally fall they will be rewarded.” Majanga explained. “I am afraid that you will not be one of them though. If you returned to the pride it would only raise suspicion. Which leaves us with two choices. You could follow your destiny and join us willingly or you will be of prisoner for the rest of your life.”
It was Tsiana's turn to return the Sith Lord's smugness. “You know who my parents are, so you must know how determine they will be to find me. I wouldn't be surprised if Drox is already searching for me.”
“You raise a good point. However a single jedi entering Sith lands? If I were you I wouldn't put too much faith in him. At best he would end up stuck here with you. The worst would be that it would start the war between the Sith and Jedi.” He said. “For now lets not worry about that. If it happens I will deal with it.”
She stared at him, her eyes filled with anger. If she could, she would strike him then and there. Her legs were in too much pain though. She knew it wouldn't take that long for her legs to heal properly as long as she didn't put too much stress on them.
“While you are here I will have you treated as a guest. I will come and visit you everyday to make sure you are being treated properly. Food and water will be provided for you and if you would like I can make sure you have company. Perhaps Buru'Ju, the cheetah that escorted you here.” He suggested.
“I do not want the company of Sith.”
“As you wish. If you change your mind, feel free to tell me at our next meeting. Now I have to leave you. If you need anything, the guards can help you out. Tomorrow I think we will discuss your family. Compared to most jedi, you have a very interesting family history, one filled with little secrets. But I am sure that you know all about it.” He stood up, making Tsiana feel even smaller than normal. She was determine to get better and escape this prison.
“I will get out of here.” She stared right at him, her voice filled with determination.
He glanced back and nodded his head. “It would be boring if you just stayed put. Being Drox's ex-padawan, I expected that you wouldn't just roll over and give up. It might have been easy to capture you. The real challenge is turning you into a Sith. Just imagining the face Drox will make when he sees you as a Sith makes me anxious. He will know the exact pain I felt when he left me.”
Majanga went to the entrance and the boulder moved, letting him out. Then it was moved back in place.
A strange silence creeped through the den. Silence was something Tsiana was not used to. She always had someone be her side. This was the most lonesome she had ever felt. Silently she wished that Drox and the other jedi would find her soon and without causing a war between the two prides. No one should have to die because she made a mistake, because she was too trusting.
