The second part of the metaplot will run for two months to give people a chance to get their assigned RPs (and any extra RPs they wish) done! Instead of making one big group ORP, the IC leadership of each side will be giving assignments to willing participants and it'll be up to you to make it happen-- and it'll be up to the dice who succeeds!

Since the pride will be considered at war, you can expect that these assignments will include assassinations.

We need participants from both sides of the war and neutral parties! Royal Guards and other Shangyue supporters are likely to be in shortest supply (and have their relevance approaching the end) so I encourage you to get them involved if you have any! You may enter as many characters as you want to play! The extended time frame will give you time to get everything done.

No character will die without permission of their owner. You do not need to give permission now, it can be decided later.



Note: Shangyue will be closing joining starting with Part 2. The only rogues who can join in the plot from this point on must be individually approved of by the King and will be expected to be 100% loyal to him.

Breeding will remain open but is ICly discouraged.

No OOC prizes are planned, but what happens in Part 2 could have a big IC impact!

Thoughts on the War: Grin is always up for getting his paws dirty. He's got no clue as to the history of the pride as he's new, but hey, there's a bunch of people that don't like the king. Off with his head! Yeah!

Name: Jioni

Thoughts on the War: Jioni has been around since Shangyue's grandparents were ruling and has seen the Mwezi crumble and start to fall. She is fiercely loyal to the rebellion and wants to help in any way she can. She's been playing indifferent to the new king, making nice with the other high class lions, but her blood is boiling for his overthrow. She'd be very interested in helping those on the border make their move.

Thoughts on the War: Batu met Meshach on his way through the rogue lands and agreed to go in as a spy against the new king. Batu has stayed mostly quiet, however has recruited here and there. He knows Ota as another uncover rebel but makes a point of staying away from her when he can.

Thoughts on the War: Although he was raised in a neutral house hold one day when out for a hunt Boinedal met Yue'shi, Meshach's daughter. Ever since then he has been secretly going out into the rogue lands to meet her and fill her in on all the things happening in the pride. Other than talking to Yue he has not yet shared his thoughts with anyone else.

Thoughts on the War: Mated to Jioni (if only in word at the moment) Zah is muscle for the rebels. He originally joined the pride and was impressed with the new king but now that he knows more about him he is greatly bothered. Not to mention he is in love with Jioni and would do anything for her.

Thoughts on the War: Believed to be the illegitimate heir for the longest time Antara has had to pretend that she was loyal to her father. In truth however she has wanted nothing more than to get away from him. She never wanted to be the heir, or pretend to be the heir. Although at the beginning of the rebellion she may still be forced to appear as loyal to her father. She is itching to have her father off the throne so that she can live a more normal life and get her twin sister back in the pride.

Thoughts on the War: Well, the King is his dad, and he's very fond of his family. That said, his loyalty is not set in stone, and there is yet potential to turn him.

Thoughts on the War: Look, he's new here--he joined to be with his family. He's going to keep his head down, try not to get killed, and try to figure out what's going on. Circumstances probably won't let him stay as out of it as he'd like.

Thoughts on the War: Shangyue is a murderer whose ascension turned many in her family against each other, and turned her home into a place where one must measure their every word in case of listeners. She wants that to end.

Thoughts on the War: If we get Shangyue out of power, we can DO THINGS. Make things better! Quite vocal, now that the youth rebellion is ready to be known. Umepatwa's bestie.

Thoughts on the War: Uchanjaa is still pissed off at Shangyue for killing his mother - whose safety was once Uchanjaa's responsibility. He hasn't been vocal for a while, but nobody doubts that he's still against Shangyue. He also hasn't spoken to his daughter Halili and her mate Orion since Orion became one of the Royal Guards. His granddaughter Iki'renkli hasn't spoken to him since she couldn't get a straight answer from him about his estrangement from Halili.

Thoughts on the War: Caritas finds it hard to support a patricide/regicide and has been subtly helping the rebels when possible, including witnessing the birth of Shangyue's illegitimate Heir. Her brother is a Royal Guard, and she is a relative of the King.

Thoughts on the War: Tseva isn't from the pride originally, so she really doesn't know what the best thing is. She isn't a fan of murder, but it seems like some good things have happened since then? As far as she's concerned, her only relatives are her children. Stop telling who is and isn't related to her mate.

Thoughts on the War: To the pride as a whole, Lailah supports Shangyue. Of course, this is because she really didn't want to die. He's done some good, yes, but does it really outweight the evil?

Thoughts on the War: Halili wanted to be recognized for being a person and not a slave, so she kept her father from attacking Shangyue back when he first took power. However, she didn't want to be one of Shangyue's personal enforcers. Unfortunately, he coerced her mate instead. Her father and daughter are both against Shangyue, and she and Uchanjaa haven't spoken in some time because of it.

Name: Eshkohl

Thoughts on the War: Eshkohl is a rebel because her mate is a rebel. There's nothing more to it than that. She has no relatives in the pride.

Name: Gealach Scath

Thoughts on the War: Gealach still really really wishes he was young enough to hide behind his mother's legs. Why did everything go so wrong and confusing and can't we all just be happy? He has family on both sides of the line and has no idea where to turn for anything. Except Mom.

Name: Tyfu

Thoughts on the War: Tyfu's happy to cause maximum destruction, despair, and pain in any way she can. Shangyue lets her do as she pleases, so naturally she's happy to serve him. She is probably the most notorious enforcer Shangyue has in the pride. She's gone out of her way to antagonize some Rebels, most notably Sabia'nafsi.

Thoughts on the War: Because of Shangyue, the Great Lion has turned His face from the pride! Nyeusi is INCREDIBLY vocal and everyone knows it. Her parents are supporters of Shangyue and her father is a Royal Guard.

Thoughts on the War: Shangyue's good because without him 'Varninen would just be a slave, not a royal guard, right?

Name: Iki'renkli

Thoughts on the War: Iki once idolized her grandfather for how he was big, strong, and not afraid to stand up to anybody. She's since come to despise him for doing nothing since his last heroic act, but she's sticking to her old anti-Shangyue stances.

Name: Dwyllodrus

Thoughts on the War: Dwyllo was born and raised to support Shangyue, who is almost certainly his father. Not that that matters much. Mom taught him how to use his claws to good advantage on others, and he's happy to demonstrate.

Name: Inenekazi

Thoughts on the War: Inenekazi simply wants to serve the pride as best she can. She studies with her teacher and the Historian and isn't sure what the best way for the pride is, but fighting against each other isn't it.

Name: Nketa

Thoughts on the War: Nketa never picked a side, the Rebels kept her because she is, in fact, Shangyue's eldest high-class child. She doesn't care which side wins at this point, as long as she gets to be reunited with Antara and not have to be confined to the Rebel encampment anymore.

Thoughts on the War: She thinks it's pointless to go against those who have the strength. Plus there's more rewards to siding with those in power. Nko is very disappointed that her daughter sides with the rebels. She's more vocal with her family. Nko use to know the former queen very well, she'd say.

Thoughts on the War: Meshach picked this side because he knew it was right. They shouldn't have a murderer on the throne. Oh my goodness yes! He's been very vocal until he got chased out of the pride, and even tried to interrupt the coronation ceremony. Many relevant ties, he is related to the ruling family.

Thoughts on the War: He's torn on which side is right. Could probably go either way. No relevant ties that I know of.

Thoughts on the War: Despite being in the Slave class, she doesn't like the way Shangyue runs things. She refused to join the Royal Guards, much to the disappointment and scorn of her mother, Nkosazana. She's been quietly vocal, mostly to her mother trying to get her to see the error of her ways. No ties.

Thoughts on the War: Her father has raised her on the tails of the vile deeds Shangyue did to obtain the throne. She'd be vocal if she had anyone besides her family to talk to it about. XD Meshach is her daddy.

Thoughts on the War: Unsure which side to take. Shangyue has been in rule for so long already.

Name: Nubiti

Thoughts on the War: She thinks its stupid it's gone on this long. Nubiti is Batu's mate. She is supporting from the background until it's time to roar.

Name: Hodari

Thoughts on the War: Hodari is the daughter of Ota, the leader of the rebellion and so is very enthusiastically a rebel herself. While she has no problem voicing her opinions among other rebels, she knows better than to boast in front of Shangyue or his loyalists. She would not disgrace her mother or the cause with such foolish behavior.

Thoughts on the War: A friend of Umepatwa and Tamaa. Very nocturnal guy (was only in the sun during his youth, hated it, took too much energy to move) who views most physical activities as tiresome. Very loyal to his friends and to his cause, even if the aspect of getting more active makes him frown.
