Hobbies: MMOs: Clementine isn't anywhere near the top echelon of players, but considering that she runs off of her own allowance as far as costs go, she's pretty good. After all, she's 13! She doesn't have to ask for parental consent anymore (not that she did in the first place, but, hey, it's good to pretend). At the minute it's mostly whatever free MMOs show up on Steam - she has schoolwork, after all, and it's kinda hard to explain subscription costs to your parents when it's their money you're spending, but she's trying to find a good time!
Dancing: OH GOODNESS DOES CLEM LOVE DANCING. She's naturally athletic in the unpracticed way that some people just
are -- right now it's just a jazz/tap/ballet combination class at the local dance studio, but she's been doing it for a few years, and she hopes to maybe specialize soon! Tap, maybe. Tap's a lot of fun. It's grounded.
Virtues:Considerate: Even though she might not actively pay attention, Clementine tries to keep everyone's problems in mind. She's terribly contrary when it comes to things that affect
her -- but other people? Other people deserve nothing but the best. She's willing to work around and through any problems you have, depending on how you feel about her help, and she'll respectfully back off if you tell her she's too overbearing.
Forgiving: Despite what Clem tends to say, she's really all bark and no bite: Clem doesn't really have the guts to
hate someone. There's always extenuating circumstances behind any action someone takes, and if she doesn't know that...how can she really be all that angry? There's no way to really put yourself in someone else's shoes without being them. And it's because of that fact that Clementine Jones has never held a grudge for longer than a week -- god forbid she genuinely wish ill on anyone without feeling at least the teensiest bit terrible either.
Flaws:Contrary: If Clementine asks you for an opinion, or to make a choice for her, odds are she's going to go with the opposite answer. It's not necessarily that she does it to make a point, but she's determined to always be the exception to the rule. SHE IS NOT SUBJECT TO
THE MAN'S RULES (yes she is, it's teenage rebellion and a contrary personality)
Crybaby: Anything and everything can bring Clementine to tears. Doesn't matter the time of day -- she's just about as likely to cry at things as she is to do anything else. And who wants to be friends with a crybaby? It's hard to take her seriously when she's sobbing her heart out over a stray dog, or dropping a dollar bill, or even just getting vaguely reminded of something that elicits strong emotion.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Color is CC: either shiny beetle-black, or bright red!
Hair: Reddish-brown (think Sailors
Maenalus or
Arachne), wavy, with scrunchies keeping two long pigtails up on the sides/back of her head. Her bangs look like she did them with scissors, because she did. (It's strangely charming, none the less.)
Face: Round face, big ears, and a slightly protruding upper lip. UHHH skin color is CC I guess???
Clothes: T-shirts a few sizes too large that she uses a ponytail holder to tighten up in the back, mixed with long-sleeved undershirts and school-uniform everything-below-the-waist. Clementine takes a 'the first thing I pull out of that drawer is what I put on' approach.
