A brief overview of their life so far: Enomu was a cheerful, curious and precocious boy, but early on a horrible event occurred that changed that. Now the boy he was seems to have died, and the wraith that has replaced him looks at the world with dead eyes. He unnerves others with his habit of staring, even though he likely doesn't realize he's doing so. He was sent to the Academy in part to make him someone else problem because no one knows what to do with him. Hopefully at the Academy, their resources will be able to help him.
Whether or not they're an orphan from the cache: He is indeed an orphan, though from the Swirling Storms area.
How their status as an orphan or non-orphan has effected them: He has been in a sense, neglected. It isn't truly intentional, but no one knows why he is the way he is and he unnerves others, so even caretakers don't particularly want to be around him.
One event that changed their life or effected them: He lost (or thinks so) his entire family in a terrible fire. The event traumatized him to the point where he locked up completely and was for a good few months, completely mute as he wandered and scrounged for food. The problem is that when he was finally found, it wasn't by anyone who knew him and he wouldn't tell anyone what happened even when he found his voice again. As a result, the personality he displays is considered the full of who he is. Everyone who knew him before this incident thinks he's dead.
How they feel about their race and house: Enomu has no real opinions of his race at this time, though he likes his house, since it it very logic-based.
Their goals in life: If pressed to name a life goal, he might say he wants to be a mortician or otherwise work in some way with the dead. He may also have an interest in some kinds of magics along that same idea surrounding death, even if just in the fictional context.

Personality: Something is wrong with this boy. He doesn't smile for any reason. He isn't sad, though he may look it. In fact, he seems to have no real emotions at all. He approaches everything from a truly apathetic view, using logic over feelings. However, the prior assessment of not having emotions is incorrect, and can in fact be provoked into reactions like fear or anger if prodded enough. Positive emotions such as happiness are far harder to incite. He's an orphan sent to the academy to learn, and that is all that seems to be known about him. Why is he so solemn? Only he knows, and he's keeping that to himself. He doesn't pay attention to other races, and in fact tends to ignore others completely, treating them like objects rather than people unless they address him. He's very much 'in his head' and doesn't like outside stimulus and has yet to display any real curiosity, though he hates the cold as much as others of his species do.
Strengths
Independent: Enomu is pretty much completely self-sufficent. He will take care of his own needs as much as he's allowed, even to the point of washing his own clothing, though he balks at cooking his own food and if left to his own devices will eat cold whatever he deems edible.
Honest: Almost too honest. Tact may not come along with said honesty, but if you want to ask someone a question and get a straight answer, he's the one to ask.
Self-aware: He knows himself surprisingly well for his age, which is to say he knows why he behaves so strangely and is aware that his behavior is considered strange. The reasons of which he sees no need to share, even though he's equally aware that he is not happy as he is.
Weaknesses
Moody: One wouldn't think given his general lack of emotion or inflection that he's capable of being moody, but he is. Those emotions are there, and if you watch his eyes, you can see them reflected there. These emotions are not likely to be positive ones however. He rarely expresses them outwardly, and if he does it is likely to be a very extreme reaction.
Isolated: As one might expect, he isn't exactly popular. He pretends that this doesn't bother him, but it does. Just because he's self-aware doesn't mean he knows how to break out of his self-imposed restrictions.
Distrustful: Something, apart from having left his homeland, has made it so he doesn't want to trust anyone. Perhaps it's whatever happened in his past that turned him from a friendly and cheerful child into the monotoned and apathetic individual he is now.
Likes: Math, logic puzzles, routine
Dislikes: Being startled, too much noise, people in his personal space
Hobbies Collecting objects both pretty and not, sewing, reading

Prompt One: Oh no! Your Nightmare has lost something that is very dear to them! What have they lost, and how do they react?Enomu normally was a very neat child. A place for every thing, and every thing in its place. Since he was such a strange personality and unnerved other children, he had been granted a solo room. His usual calm wasn't present today however. Today he was tearing his room apart looking for something with a quite atypical display of emotion. In fact, he was nearly wailing, tears streaking down his face as he looked desperately for what he had lost. It had to be there! It just had to be! If someone had stolen it--but that was impossible, right? No one would come into his room. It was his room! Finally, after much desperate searching, he found what he sought, a necklace. He clutched it close to his chest and sat among the chaos his room had become, rocking back and forth, sniffling. "Mama." He whimpered. "Mama."

Is there anything that brings out a positive feeling? Like, even to himself when he's reading or something?
What are some of his goals and what growth do you hope for him in the future?

Were there no family friends that noticed his change either? Or were the family considered outsiders?
How does he feel about coming to the Academy and seeing the other races outside of Bakeneko and Naga?

Base preference stated! Sorry about that. I forgot there's a fluffy option. Personality, moody weakness and life changing event have all been given additions. I've tried to clarify his life goal. I don't know what kind of growth I want. That would depend on how his interactions shape him.
