Terry checked the airline schedule one last time before he left his room. He called out that he was leaving now to his Mom and got a smile on his face when she answered to have a safe drive in return. He stepped around Ace as the kitten playfully chased his gift to Seung then headed out the door. The walk to the car was quick, as was adjusting everything in the car for his comfort, so he was on the road and heading towards the airport in no time. He flipped on the radio as he drove and sung along with a few songs, though he would stop if it looked like he wasn’t paying enough attention to driving, to help pass the time.
Thankfully it wasn’t a long drive to the airport though finding a parking space relatively close to the building was a bit of a challenge. He did managed to snag one a couple rows in and with a smile he parked the car and headed into the building. While he knew while flight Seung and his family was on, he wasn’t entirely sure on which terminal they would come out at so he spent a bit figuring that out and then a little while longer making his way over to it. A glance at his watch told him that they would be landing soon if the plane was on schedule so he found a place to stand where he wouldn’t be in the way but could see, and be seen by, the exit from the plane.

That morning, before arriving at the airport, he’d gone some grocery shopping in order to pick up a few things for Terry. He’d picked up a box of asian pears, the special expensive ones, and some bread as it was made different from the bread Terry was used to. he’d spent the time in the car, on the way to the airport, listening to music and pulling the labels off the purchases he’d made for Terry. Seung didn’t want the other to know the prices he’d paid for the gifts, he knew the other would translate it and flip on the cost of the fruit and he didn’t want that. It was a gift and to be enjoyed, not upset over due to the expense.
When they’d arrived he had to put through his luggage, a new piece joining the original of under the plane luggage. The carry on held the fruit and was allowed through when explained as being a New Years gift.
The flight itself was spent asleep, wrapped in a blanket, and snuggled to the side of the neck pillow he had. He’d listened a bit to his cousin talk, whispering to her in return. They’d eaten, the food was really good, and then a movie was watched by the cousins together.
More sleep, some music, a second meal, and a few bathroom trips and the plane was looking to make its landing as it was getting into the lineup in order to be told which landing strip to head to. As the plane circled and got progressively lower with each pass around he peeked out his window, allowing his cousin to lean across him to do so as well, he enjoyed the view with her until they both sat back as the plane started into landing. It always caused his stomach to lurch in a rather unpleasant way, like an elevator stopping did at times or when a car stopped short.
Where it would be night time in Seoul it was not so here, it was rainy though...and wet looking and rather grey. Sighing as he stood up, grabbing his carry on from where it had sat on the floor between his legs the whole time (so the fruit didn’t get ruined), he headed into the aisle right behind his cousin who was behind his mother and father. “That was a good vacation, but now we need to pack and send everything.” He said referring to his younger sister. They would do that when they got home, as they’d both agreed to work together on that. His mother would likely work on dinner and his father would call both sides of the family to let everyone know they’d arrived home safely.
Stepping off the plane and into the terminal he headed into the airport itself and looked about for the carousel which would contain their bags, his name written on the tags for them in Korean hangul characters. He was not expecting anyone to meet him here, just as he hadn’t when he’d arrived in Seoul, he was figuring he’d be going home with his parents and cousin in his father's car that was in the long term parking here.

Terry had passed the time he spent waiting for their plane to land on his phone. He did however make sure to keep at least half of his attention on the exit, if not more. He had just gotten between levels of the game he had been playing when he finally spotted Seung and his family exit so he tucked his phone away and pushed away from the wall. Since he had been planning on surprising the other he wasn’t shocked when he wasn’t spotted. He got a small smile on his face as he walked over to them now that the family was by the luggage carousel. When he was close enough he gave a bow to Seung’s parents in case they spotted him then moved over to his boyfriend. “Need some help, Seung?” He asked with his smile getting a bit wider, though he wasn’t sure if the other male had any music playing. The older man looked like he wouldn’t be able to pick up any suitcase with the way he was holding his carry on bag.

Surprise, he was surprised as he saw his parents bowing to someone and even more surprised to see who it was that caused such a reaction. He had shown his parents a picture, so they knew what his friend looked like, but he was not expecting Terry here to greet him much less be bowing to his parents. It was proper, of course, but not something most Americans seemed to do - it wasn’t a thing here. Pulling out his earbuds, which wasn’t all that easy as he had to shift around his package, carry on, so he could hear the other.
Looking down to what was in his arms and his soon to arrive luggage, he could see it headed his way, he nodded his head and pointed out his two pieces of luggage. “Yeah...my hands are full.” He said softly, still surprised to see the other. “You missed me?” He hoped the other didn’t let his parents know about them - he really did.

He was pleased when he had obviously done the right thing with bowing as he had be half afraid they they might take offense even though logically they wouldn’t. When he saw the surprised look on Seung’s face he let out a chuckle. Guess his plan had certainly worked then. When he motioned to the luggage Terry moved to collect them for him so they wouldn’t end up in a never ending circle until they were claimed. “Of course I missed you, who else do I get to introduce Netflix to for the first time.” He said with a chuckle. He was trying to be very careful not to accidentally let Seung’s parent’s know about them until he actually found out how the other would want it handled.
He moved to stand by him now that he had the luggage in both of his hands and gave a small smile. “Did you have a fun time back home?” He asked, keeping to a safe topic. He had seen the video’s that Seung had posted, as well as been sent them to watch, and it did certainly look like he had fun even if some of it had been a bit worrying.

“Netflix?” He asked the other. “I heard it from classmates in school...but what is it?” He had been too shy to ask, not wanting to be deemed stupid. It was bad enough he was teased a bit and not really spoken to in class. He didn’t want to add to that by asking what he figured, from the sound of it, was a very popular and known thing. Even if he explained it as not being something where he was from he doubted his classmates would care.
“I bought you gift, in here for safety.” he said nodding to the carry on bag he held in his arms carefully. Blinking he nodded his head then. “I did, missed being home. It was good to return. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to come back or remain home more - tied...but that’s cause I have you as a friend.” Though there was more to it, they were more than friends and the other knew it. His family - clueless.
“You liked videos I had cousin send. he did editing for english so you could read along.” Though he didn’t know his cousin had sent Terry everything. He had thought his cousin would be mindful and not send certain things - he’d been wrong. Terry had, unknown to Seung, gotten all of them sent to him as well.

“It’s a movie streaming business though you can have dvd’s sent to your house as well.” Terry said, feeling a bit amused that he was right and that the other hadn’t been introduced to it just yet. “You’ll have to stay over again and we can have a movie night.” He offered up. He had no plans on making said movie night a ‘Netflix and chill’ type night of course but he would not be adverse to cuddling.
Terry’s eyes moved down to take in the carry on bag that Seung help then back up to his face. “You didn’t have but thank you. I got you a gift as well but I didn’t bring it with me since I wasn’t sure how long I would be here.” Yes, he wasn’t about to bring the tiny gift with him to the airport only to leave the poor thing in the car when planes get delayed all the time. “I thought I would come and see if you would like to come back with me to at least pick it up, though if you want to return with your family I understand. It could always wait for another day.”
At the mention of the video’s he gave a nod. “I did, the subtitles were very helpful.” He added. Yes, he had indeed gotten everything, not a single bit of what had been recorded had been lost or discarded.

Looking to his parents he held up a finger to Terry, indicating to give him a moment. Speaking up in Korean he asked them if he could go to his friends, they had a welcome home gift for him. He also had to give them his gift to them, and his family. With nods from both of his parents, and a few words from them both, he was hugged once by his cousin though it was a quick thing.
Turning back to Terry he nodded his head. “I can, I told them I’d be staying the night. I’ll just need to bring my luggage with us, I have things in there I’ll need.” bed clothing, and bathroom supplies and more. He wasn’t going to go through his luggage here and pull out those things. Not to mention he had things for the others family as well. “We go now?” he asked before turning once more to his own family and wishing them a safe trip home, telling his cousin to text when they got back to the apartment.
Then he was turning back to Terry and walking right up to him and sneaking a hand out, from under the carry on he held carefully, and took hold of the others coat sleeve.

Terry waited patiently when Seung turned to talk to his parents. While he couldn’t understand what was being said, he still listened to how things were being said. When the other turned back to relay what was going on after saying his goodbyes he gave a nod. “That works. There is more than enough room in my Mom’s car for everything so that isn’t a problem.” He gave another nod at the question, waited for him to say more goodbyes, and started to lead the other out into the short term parking lot. He could feel him take a hold of his jacket and he gave him a quick smile. “Did you have a good flight going and coming?” He asked, still sticking to safe topics until they were in the car.

“Yes, slept most of it. Food was good, movie was not bad.” He said nodding while keeping pace with the other. He wasn’t going to risk a parent, or his cousin, coming after him for something and finding out about them. He didn’t need his family finding out, even if his cousin didn’t mind that he was gay. He didn’t want her knowing he was dating or who he was dating.
“Flight was long.” Fourteen hours in the air plus the time for boarding and waiting before boarding. It had been a busy day and he actually was a bit tired, though he’d done a fair amount of sleeping as there was little else to do on the plane. There were a few new pictures on his two social media sites, from him on the plane of just him or him and his cousin.
“You were good while I was away?” he asked the other and looked him over. “Recover?” He asked wanting to know how well he’d recovered after the battle down in Negaspace. After all Terry had been thrown down onto a set of stairs, among other things.

“That’s good.” He said with a nod. He had never flown himself so he wasn’t entirely familiar with the experience beyond what was in movies and games. He did however wince at how long the flight was as they reached the car. “I suppose there is no quicker way to get to South Korea, huh?” He asked as he sat the luggage down and pulled out the car keys. He pressed the button to pop the trunk then picked the luggage back up and stored it away. After he closed the trunk he pressed the button to unlock the doors then moved around to open Seung’s door for him so he wouldn’t have to worry about opening it with his carry on.
“Yes, I spent the first couple days relaxing and recovering for the most part. Of course doing homework as well.” He said with a smile. He didn’t reveal just yet that part of his homework was self given homework on looking up different things about South Korea, planning on surprising him later. “How about you? Did you recover well?” He asked and gave the other man a once over though he wasn’t expecting anything major.

“No, no other way.” No, just planes and they took time. It would have been longer if it had a stop over at another location. This one, both there and back, had no stop overs and still took a good amount of time. It was the only option and he had wanted to be with family, it was New Years and that was how it was to be spent - with family.
Thanking the other as Terry put his luggage into the trunk and opened the passenger door for him. Getting in, he set the bag onto his lap and buckled up while waiting for Terry to get in as well.
“I did. Glad you recovered also.” He had recovered though he hadn’t really laid about or taken it easy on himself. He had, as the videos showed, been busy doing things and having a good time with friends and family. He had not really relaxed or taken it easy as most people would have. He’d been wearing bandages under his clothing but that was about it.

Terry nodded, having expected the answer. It was a shame that they couldn’t just teleport to different places around the world though that wouldn’t have helped on the return flight with his family. That’s not even going into customs issues that could have, and probably would have, popped up. Once Seung was inside all the way, he shut the door then moved around to the drivers side and got in.
“Good.” He said as he buckled up then took the others hand briefly to give it a squeeze. “Did the cut to your chest fully heal?” He asked as he let go of his hand so he could start the car and get them on the road back to his house.

“Mmm.” He responded as he nodded his head to go along with the verbal response. “Still can see where I got cut.” A line, discolored, across his chest but it didn’t bleed, it wasn’t scabbed up, it was handled and didn’t need to keep it covered up as there was nothing to worry about now - thankfully.
“Can stay for dinner? Your family won’t mind?” He asked the other, wanting to be sure, before he wound up staying for dinner and perhaps even longer. He had missed the other and wouldn’t mind spending time at his home, or sleeping over...if that was ok as well.
“Was there anything you liked most, or interested in, that was in the videos?” He asked. He wanted to know what the other found interesting, was curious about - wanted to know about. He had hoped the other would like them and find an interest in things, things they could talk about and maybe things that were done one way where he was from and another way here and he could learn also.

“Do you need anything to keep it clean? I have a first aid kit in my room.” Terry offered. He had made sure it was restocked after he spent the first few days having to wrap up his arm. Thankfully the cut on his cheek had healed over nicely with nothing left behind. It had been one of his most obvious wounds from the fight in the Negaverse, the others being all the bruises, but he had been able to be partially truthful to his parents by saying he had fell down some stairs to explain everything to them. Matt was told the truth and have been very helpful when it came time to change the bandages on his arm.
“Of course they won’t mind.” He said with a quick smile before he turned back to the road. “They would be more then happy for you to stay for dinner and the night, don’t worry about that.” He had missed Seung as well, the videos and occasionally texting or sending a message had helped but it hadn’t been the same. “Hm, hard to pick what I liked the most or found the most interesting when I found a lot of it so.” Except for parts that had made him worry of course. “I know I liked seeing you spending time with your friends and family, you looked happy when you did so.”
