Kristen found herself limping after her battle with an overzealous negaverse agent. His weapon had cut deep and even though she had been attended by Denebola at the scene; recovery was taking a while. She could not help but be amazed with how quickly her body was healing or just how much damage she was able to soak up in the first place. She remembered this scene from Madoka Magica, were the Kyuubi was explaining how their bodies worked now and she could not help but wonder if the same laws were being applied. Was she still human?
She had been off the Senshi game for a few days and in some strange way she was missing her usual evening patrol. Life has changed so much as of late; it was like she was getting caught up in a current without anything but her own resolve to steady herself. Each day she learned something new, every day she was faced with a new moral dilemma and every day she went out risking her life like it came naturally to her.
Kristen took her Magical Girl duties very seriously and somehow felt like she was letting the side down because of her injury; because she was currently unable to fight. Luckily enough, civilian life went on and usual.
The redhead walked was walking down the main street of the shoping district wearing her Accademy uniform; the pale blue contrasting against her deep maroon coloured hair. Cyan eyes scanned people as they walked past, smiling politely when she made eye contact. She was window shopping; indulging whilst she had the chance.
Being a super hero really called for some retail therapy every so often.

After school meant extra curricular activities, which meant that Rory was doing some form of volunteer work. Or at least that's what it usually meant. This afternoon was a little different because all of her volunteer line-ups had fallen through.
The shelter told her they had enough people for the day, the kitchen insisted on her not dropping in because they'd kept her so late the night before, and her personal projects were on standby because, well, life was busy.
Still, the shelter was having an adoption event during the weekend that they needed to get advertised, so Rory took it upon herself to pass out the flyers.
She was distributing them down the streets of the shopping district to anyone who'd make eye contact with her. Which was exactly how she found herself standing directly in front of the redheaded girl dressed in her school uniform. She held out the flyer, a large grin plastered on her face when she said, "got a second?"

Oh dear; she had made eye contact, it was all over.
Kristen forced a smile on her face and was trying her best not to be rude. Though to be quite honest she did not really want anything this girl was selling. The Crystal student was not a bad person, but she like many people felt rather awkward when approached in the street - Especially when the other person had an agenda; a fact made quite obvious by the pile of flyers in the girls hands.
"Sure I have a second." She wondered why it was always so hard for her to say no? Even when she wanted to.
Cyan eyes ran the girl up and down, analysing her appearance to try and weight her up. "Can we talk and walk?" She asked limping forward; it strained her leg to stand still for too long.

Rory was like one of those people at the kiosks in the mall. If you made eye contact with her, she was relentless and moved in before you even had a chance to regret your decision to lift your head. At least, in Rory's case she wasn't trying to sell anything, not really. Okay, so she wasn't aggressively selling make up or beauty products that really didn't do s**t for you BUT she was pretty aggressively selling the "it's for the greater good!" crap.
"Yeah, yeah, sure," she agreed easily, swinging around so that she was walking side by side with the other girl, reaching across to stuff a flyer in Kristen's hands. "So, the humane shelter, it's doing an adoption event and there are all these really great animals who need homes, and you should really stop by and take a look--" Rory rambled, content to go on and on and on.

Kristen took the flier and looked down; animals huh? She had never owned pets, her dad was allergic to cats and dogs required more attention that anyone in the household was able to spare. They had some fish in the living room - but the redhead wondered if fish really counted as pets, or if they were more a living decoration? None of them had names.
She scanned over the piece of paper quickly, cyan eyes fixed on the date. It seems like she found the end to their conversation.
"Sorry - I have work that day, bummer."
It was not that she did not like animals, she would never hurt one or stand for seeing someone hurt one. They had just never been a priority in her life.

Rory squinted at Kristen when she came up with, in Rory's opinion, a very weak excuse. Especially for a girl dressed in a Crystal Academy uniform. Her happy, for the people, grin quickly shifted into a frown as she whirled around to come to stand in front of the redhead.
"I find that very hard to believe," she said point blank, flyers pressed against her chest as she stood very much in the way.
"You barely even glanced at the flyer - " she seemed to huff without coming off like she was going to throw a tantrum. There was a quiet, controlled irritation that surged through her and she forced the grin back on her mouth.
"Really, I'm sure you could make some time."

With Kristen limping like Captain Hook; there was little surprise that the girl was able to swing around the front of her. Usually people disappeared when they realised they were not getting a sale and moved onto someone else, this one was a little more clingy.
Kristen could cope with people being abrasive, but questioning her working ethics was another thing all together. She would not have that brought into question; not when she went to school, had two jobs and played magical girl by night.
However, instead of yelling she laughed. "What, don't I look like a busy little bee? Talking about my jobs, you are going to make me late for one of them." She looked at her, gaze unwavering.

Rory couldn't help but scoff and look at Kirsten's uniform disdainfully. "Yeah, what jobs are those?" There was more attitude to her voice than she meant but she had a hard time believing that a girl who went to Crystal Academy. Why did she need to work? She was probably rich.
Rory didn't care for the rich, they thought they were better than everyone else just because they didn't have to stress about paying bills or being able to afford food.
"But I bet those jobs are so important," she huffed, rolling her eyes as she stilled, stopping in her tracks and folding her arms across her chest.
It was obvious that Rory didn't believe the redhead had a job at all.

Nuxaz You can wrap this up in your next post if you want! Or leave it there, Kristen is well and truly pissed off, haha !~ Well, one of them was being a ******** super hero.
"I work in sales."
She stated rather bluntly. Though it was not completely true, Kristen did not really want to tell this girl what she actually did. The last thing sshe needed was another internet troll giving her grief and this girl seemed the sort to be a real keyboard warrior. The red head had run out of patience with her and her usual rather agreeable personal cracked leaving behind a very unamused face.
Kristen could be a real b***h.
"And we are done talking.." Or at least Kristen was done answering to her. She gave her a small (rather cocky looking) smile and a small bow of her head, before she moved to talk past her.
