The rooftops were quickly becoming one of Pan's favorite places to hang out while powered up. Of course, she couldn't truthfully say she was patrolling when she came up here. All she did was sit and watch the world below with unending fascination.
But she could always use the argument that she was using this time to observe and learn.
Already feeling a bit better for her private rationalizing, Pan, hummed a little to herself and closed her eyes, wanting to see if she could feel any random auras. Much to her surprise, she did. And since it didn't grate against her sense, she had to assume that it was a fellow magical girl. Or maybe a magical boy. Would a magical boy wear a skirt and be sparkly? Her various animes seemed torn on the subject.
Either way, she suddenly, very much wanted to meet this mystery person and find out what they might know. Quickly standing, Pan closed her eyes and began to bounce around a little on her toes. Could she make her own aura more noticeable? Probably not, but she didn't actually know. Pity the cat that had awakened her hadn't stuck around long enough to tell her anything helpful.
In a few moments, Pan's excited bouncing had turned into more of an excited interpretive dance. Whoever else was out there, she really hoped they wouldn't veer off in some other direction.

It was hard to say for sure if the bouncing did the trick to catch Hilaritas' interest, but it certainly earned her amusement when she finally made it to the rooftop in question. Stepping freely and openly into view she raised a hand and simply said, "Hiya!"
What else could one say after investigating something? The one before her didn't feel or seem like they would be antagonistic at all. In fact she got a rather friendly vibe so far.
"I uh..." How to begin the dialogue with another magical girl? Why did she have to be so new at this? Should she introduce herself?
Hilaritas raised her hand and did a bit of a jazzhands style motion with them and said, "I'm Sailor Hilaritas .. . .. ! Ta...da???" DaisyMilk Sorry it took so long! I didn't anticipate RL suddenly eating me up for a day or two.

The appearance of Hilaritas caused Pan to grin and wave back. She could absolutely appreciate the inclusion of the jazz hands (and was faintly disappointed that she hadn't gotten to do that first).
"Pleased to meet you, Hilaritas. I'm Pan," she exclaimed, striking an heroic pose and arching an eyebrow comically. "Am I trying to hard to top your entrance? I am, aren't I? Sorry."
Still grinning, she studied the other girl carefully, wanting to be absolutely certain that she wasn't going to have to introduce someone to Mr. Fist.
"You are one of the good guys, right? I haven't been doin' this long, so I'd like to make certain, y'know?"Pales It's okay! All Hell broke loose on my end XD

Instead of being jealous Hilaritas clapped enthusiastically and even hopped a bit up and down, so far she was starting to like this individual! She seemed super fun.
"Pleasure is all mine!" She replied cheerfully, "Super introduction! Way better than mine," she affirmed in a modest tone but then followed it up with a grin. It seemed she didn't have a jealous bone in her body, at least not over introductions.
When asked if she was a 'good guy' Hilaritas had to pause a moment, "I think I am. I don't like hurting people if I don't have to," she admitted with a bit of concern etching over her face. "You don't seem evil to me as far as I can see!" Maybe that was part of a ruse, but that didn't seem to cross her mind. DaisyMilk Sadly, I know 1000% exactly what you mean. I hope things are okay now, or at least getting there! <3

Grinning easily, Pan shrugged and pulled out the phone that the cat had produced for her.
"Pretty sure I'm not. I don't think the bad guys get sweet tech like this. So," she continued in a briskly friendly tone. "What's your deal? I'm apparently the senshi of masquerades, though I haven't got a damn clue as to what that actually means."
She found herself rather liking Hilaritas. Lady had a sense of humor and didn't seem to be overly braggy or bully-ish. Definitely someone to put on the potential buddy list.

Being more at ease Miranda nodded with approval, "That's true," she agreed. She had one of her own but felt a bit too excited to really show it off without dropping it or worse.
"I am the ... Senshi of Comedy!" Hilaritas struck a somewhat silly pose for a second or two before standing regularly again. "Not that I have any clue what that means either, but we can be clueless together!"
"Clueless Buddies!" She added with a small giggle. DaisyMilk And then RL and emotions turned around and ate me face first. I am so sorry. -sprawls on the ground.-
