It was a calm quiet night. The wind blew softly through the tree tops, the soft rustling some of the only sounds that traveled through the chill evening air. Cecilia perched on a think branch of a tall tree, enjoying her time relaxing in the solitude. It always got a bit overwhelming to stay inside the house. Too many foxes, too many thoughts in the air. It was too much. She didn't blame the others, it wasn't their fault. But getting away from them was very nice.
She flicked her paper-thin tail as she glanced up towards the stars, the mostly bare branches of the trees cross-crossing the sky above her acting like a frame around a picture. It was a beautiful sight to behold. A light streaked across the sky and Cecilia chimed in glee over the wonder of the shooting star.
While being alone was a wonderful relief, it would also have been nice to share the moment with. A deep frown crossed the wind-chime noodle's face. Making friends was a difficult task. It was quite frustrating at times. Maybe I should make a better effort with the next fox I meet. Not everyone will mind how I speak! She nodded as she resolved herself to her new idea. Of course, meeting someone new would be the first step. Though the chances of her meeting someone that may be wondering about outside the shop at night would slim. Perhaps it would be best to go home, sleep, and come back in the morning. She nodded again as she climbed down the tree.

Nighttime was one of the few time a black and white photo like vixen made her way out into the world. Apart from her brilliant violet eyes and a string of purple beads hanging from her blank milk white hair she looked like a old time photo, which was always a good thing to help hide her in the evening hours and in most people's nightmares. She like her sister's had a very unique still, but unlike them hers was of a more dark nature. She wandered the night keeping her mind open for the feeling of foxes in dreams and in need. She had little focus or care for who they were she normally never planned to meet them when they were awake or in person so her social skills were rather laking. She enjoyed being alone and being someone no one really knew excited.
However as she was walking buy a particular building she felt a strange feeling within her mind. Something that felt familiar to a dreaming fox reaching out but this was from an awake mind. She stopped in her wandering to take a look around. Her bright eyes falling on a rather delicate looking pale form that was climbing down from a tree. Her figure was slim and feminine. Around her neck was the largest bell she had seen someone carry but the bright sound it made was soothing like a set of wind chimes caressed by a gentle breeze.

There was someone there. Someone who felt unique. There wasn't really any other word to describe it. Cecilia had never felt anything quite like it. It was interesting to be sure. The small pale blue fox looked around, the bell on her neck chiming loudly in the quiet night air. She wanted to meet thigs unique person. She smiled as she spotted the other vixen.
She was hard to spot at first. Her dark coloring made her blend into the shadows of the night. Her eyes and hair, however looked like a shining beacon. A soft contrast to the deeper colors that made up her fur. Cecilia chimed in a friendly great, the sound she made much like the sounds of her bell.

Reverie was a bit stunned to see how small and delicate the young vixen that not headed towards her seemed. She was smiling and gave that sweet hypnotic chime again that caused the shadowy vixen to smile. She gave a nod of her head and smiled, "Good evening little miss." she said thinking that maybe this petite vixen could be a kit but when they were closer she found that she was wrong.

Cecilia giggled pleasantly- though that too sounded much like bells- at the greeting. It was true that she quite small for an adult fox bit it had been some time since she could be considered a kit. Still, the kindness of such a greeting was obvious and it was quite nice. She trotted softly towards the dark female, taking a seat on the ground a few paces away from her and wrapping her long delicate tail around her feet.
She tilted her head to the side as she very gently reached out with her mind. It was a soft wordless inquiry, as if she was gauging the other reaction. She opened her mouth, some more of the soft bell chimes spilling forth, hoping that the other vixen understood her meaning. She couldn't speak vocally, only telepathically and she wouldn't do that unless she was alright with it.

Reverie's mind was open and receptive to the slight touch of Ceclia's mental inquiry. Though there did seem to be lots of protection within her mind. She smiled, "You have a lovely little chime miss." She said at the soft bell like voice of the smaller female. She smiled softly sitting down as well letting her tail stay slightly to the left side. It did not take her long to realize that the chiming was her voice and she could not speak like normal. "It is a lovely evening don't you think?"

Both the openness of the other vixen's mind and her protections filled Cecilia with happiness. Being open meant she was alright with her strange way of communication while the protections meant that she would not find herself overwhelmed. It was exciting just to think about. She smiled warmly at the darker foxes' compliment, a few more of the bright metallic chimes spilling from her.
'Yes, it is very nice out. The sky is very clear and the stars are very pretty. My name is Cecilia. What is yours?'

Given Reverie's normal nightly duties feeling a mind connecting and entering her's was not unusual so when he soft bright voice filled her mind the grey female did not even bat an eye. The soft voice was just and bright and happy as the chimes of her physical voice. This sunny female was both relaxing and invigorating.
Though she was skilled in mental contact Reverie could not return the mental reply unless she was entering into a dream so instead she reply with her normal voice, "Cecilla is a beautiful name and so fitting a vixen like you. My name is Reverie. It is a real pleasure to meet you. Did you have a lovely view up in that tree?"
