Ziron had Eva (Axum-Vesta) lifted high on their shoulders as the family made their way through town, a list of places for sale that the family was looking at before making a decision on what to buy. Ziron and Winterbloom had met during a Stone Imbuing meetup, the two sharing an interest in starting a family and going from there. Now the 'couple' had two fantastic freshlings to call their very own, Eva and Winterblossom. Despite having two children now, Ziron and Winterbloom agreed on one thing. They wanted to keep the family together. No living in separate houses while they raised one child or switched off every other day. No, the two of them wanted to raise their children under one roof as a family.
Now here they were, walking down the sidewalk as they tried to find the first house. Eva didn't exactly know why her parents were looking for a house, but it sure made her excited. Daddy had promised both her and her brother, Winterblossom, that the two of them would be essential to picking out a place that their whole family would call home. For now though Eva was staying at Ziron's small studio apartment, always knocking over her daddy's work projects by accident whenever she rushed through the tiny place.
Due to that, Ziron had made sure to make it clear that they would like to have a decent sized room that they could build their studio in. After all, it was their way of making a living, making art of everyday objects and making them new and still functional. They would even try to make the object even more functional than what it originally was. So far Ziron had been making it big with this business, but had been finding it hard to work when Eva kept knocking everything over. Maybe a playroom would be a good idea as well? They had the money for a more high end place after all, so maybe both a studio and a playroom would be possible?

It hadn't really been all that long ago that Winterbloom had even made the move to Below. She'd started classes and the urge to start a family, or at least raise a child on her own, hit her. It was a bit of a long shot, but on a whim she had attended a Stone Imbuing partner event. Had she really expected to find someone there to share her life with? Well, to be honest she didn't know how her's a Ziron's relationship would end in the long run. But she did know they'd be a good parent and partner to raise their children.
She held Blossom's hand as they walked down the streets in town. They were shopping for a home together. Winterbloom just lived in a small apartment herself and she really figured Blossom deserved more room then that. There was also the fact that she wanted them to live like a family. She also really did like Ziron and she wanted them to be as involved in Blossom's life as she was. Likewise she wanted to be just as involved in Eva's growth as well.
"Are we going to have a biiiiiig yard to play in?" Blossom was skipping along next to his mother, too excited to walk like a normal daydream would. Winterbloom wouldn't help but smile. She moved around a lot when she was younger and each time it was an exciting new adventure. It had her remembering just how enthusiastic she'd been growing up as well. Dryad's in Above tended to move around quite a bit, but she planned on settling down herself. She'd had her adventures. It was time to set up roots and raise her children.
"I'm sure there will be enough room to run around outside." Just exactly what Blossom wanted to hear. He loved being outdoors in nature, probably because he took so much after his dryad mother. He loved wiggling his toes in the grass. "Hear that Eva? We're getting a yard! There should be swings! And...a big tree! And some flowers. Definitely flowers!" He might be getting a little too far ahead of himself. There wasn't really a guarantee their yard would have any of those things. Still, he had to share a little playground with a lot of other kids currently. He was looking forward to having his own space outside.
Winterbloom looked over at Ziron. "Which one are we looking at first anyway?" They had received a decently sized list of available homes from a very friendly realtor. They also had the codes needed to retrieve the keys so they could look on their own. She was probably just as excited as Blossom honestly.
"First off is the one in the city," Ziron began explaining, handing off the image of the house from the outside to Winterbloom before adjusting Eva on their shoulders to make sure she wouldn't fall off. They would never forgive themselves if they dropped her ", It isn't terribly big, but it would fit us all. There is three bedrooms, and an open concept room with the living room, dining room, and kitchen. There is an office and a playroom on the second floor, and the house has a total of two bathrooms. No master bathroom, but both bathrooms looked to be decent sized. Best yet, for being in town it manages to have an okay front yard. We can also see doing some renovations to make the place a little bit bigger perhaps. There are two rooms that we think are supposed to be storage rooms? We think they can be taken down to make the playroom bigger and/or make a walk in closet for you and us Winterbloom."
It wasn't too long before the family was at the house, looking at the unique looking shape that made up the outside. It was curved, but Ziron knew that it was simply the appearance of the house. The inside was more sharp roomed, appearing to look more normal. Sure enough there was a small yard up front, but no large tree with a swing ", Hmm... Maybe we could build a swing for you two, Winterblossom and Eva, if we do move in here. There seems to be enough room outside for one, along with a flowerbed. Shall we check the inside?"
"Yes! I want to check it out!" Eva exclaimed, patting her daddy's head as a sign to set her down so she could be floor level like Winterblossom was. If she remained on daddy's head she may just accidentally hit her own head on a ceiling! Besides, she wanted to be closer to her brother so they could explore the house together ", You can set me down now daddy."
"Alright our sweetie," Ziron smiled up at Eva, picking her up and setting her down as required. They then turned to Winterblossom, getting down on their knee to be at eye level with their son. They wanted to make sure their son didn't feel left out on the fun they were having with Eva ", Do you want to be on our shoulder's when we head to the next house Winterblossom?"

Imagine it being in the city, and that pool and chairs outside are not there. Maybe a fence as well. If Bloom and Blossom like the outside, then the family can head inside. Also, I have the plans for the inside of the house. ;3

Being in the city certainly would have it's own sort of benefits as well. Looking at the pictures the house was a bit of an odd shape on the outside, but there wasn't anything she disliked about that. It would be fun to live in such a unique looking home and she was fairly certain that they kids would like it at least. Plus, there was enough room for them to play outside where she and Ziron could keep their eyes on them. She was mostly impressed with all the work Ziron put into looking up these various homes.
"Ooo, thanks for working so hard to find these places." She really didn't need all that much closet space, Ziron might though. She was sure they'd find some use for the extra space though and surely the kids could appreciate more room to play in. Though, she suspected they'd be spending more time outside than inside.
"I want to help plant the flowers!" Came Blossom's response to the mention of enough room for them outside. He had to admit he was just a little bit disappointed by the lack of a large tree, but it wasn't anything that would keep him from enjoying his time there. There were plenty of other ways he could enjoy the outside. When his Daddy dropped down to his level he smiled and nodded, "Yeah! I wanna ride next!" Daddy was so tall! It was always fun to ride on his shoulders.
Winterbloom smiled and made her way to the front door, they had a code to unlock a box that had the key and before long she had the door opened for everyone. "Well, let's check it out."
With the family now inside, Ziron took out some blue prints for Winterbloom to look at for the current layout of the house. It didn't take long for Eva to rush through the entryway and a set of doors which lead to the main area of the downstairs, her calling for Winterblossom to follow her ", Come here Blossom! This room has a living room, kitchen, and dining room all in one, and there is a view to the backyard through the large glass windows and door! There is even a tree! Not a big one, but one day it will be!"

Seeing how Eva and Blossom were reoccupied for the moment, Ziron decided to take Winterbloom around the room to show her around ", So as Eva pointed out, this is an open concept room. That way the place seems bigger than it really is. It is still big of course though, lots of room for the children to run around. However-" they pointed to the door Eva had gone through in such a rush not even a minute before ", We want to get rid of that door so it is more open to the rest of the downstairs, that way there is even more room for the children to play. We were also thinking of making the guest bedroom our studio so we can work at home and stay with the children more. We even made an edited version of the blue print for the first floor so you could see what we was talking about," they then handed her yet another blue print, this time edited to show the idea they had for the first floor.
