- ❶ // BASICS
- • Arguing with, pestering, or being disrespectful in any way to a moderator will not be tolerated. If trouble arises between members or someone is causing problems, contact the founders or a member of the crew and they will handle it.
• Tell us if you are struggling, ask questions. No homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, prejudice, ageism, or any other form of degrading will go ignored here.
• Even though characters in Nanatsu are set up to have unique, god-like qualities and abilities, we strongly disapprove of god-modding, power-playing, and auto-hitting. Systems and rules are arranged to prevent this.
• Meta-Gaming is extremely frowned upon in this guild. Meta-Gaming is the act of using information you've learned OOC, IC. For example, say you know a character's thought because you read it in that character's post. If their RPC never verbalized that said, there is no way your RPC would know what they were thinking.
• You must follow the backbone of rules already set by GaiaOnline in the guidelines. Moderators will do their best to uphold these standards.
• Violence, drama, and romance are required for any roleplay to develop a good story line, but explicit acts that violate GaiaOnline's TOS are prohibited. Fade to black, please, and move on.
• Yes there are different guilds, but it doesn't mean that they are constantly at each others throats. While player killings are common, its more common for them to just ignore each other. Its rare, but in emergencies they can work together. Please remember this.
❷ // LITERACY
- • Literacy in this guild is a must. It is a semi-literate to literate guild. We cherish exciting storyline and vivid characters. Your writing should capture every moment like a snap shot. If you can't give more than a paragraph with ease, this guild is not for you.
• Be mindful of your punctuation and overall grammar, and make sure to use spell check.
❸ // POSTING
- • Everyone is required to post using size 11 or 10 font, include a picture, character name and system information. We offer a preset posting layout for everyone, but custom layouts are welcome as long as they meet system requirements.
• During battles you can not create abilities specifically designed for said battle, nor can you edit your posts after another member has replied without the permission of a moderator.
• Once your techniques are approved of, you cannot go back and use them in any post which was submitted before the time stamp on the approval of that technique.
❹ // ACTIVITY
- •We expect you to be able to post once every five days. Hiatuses are expected since we all have lives offline, so please be responsible by isolating your character and posting a leave of absence in the Activity Log. Even if you've lost your muse, take a break, post a hiatus and come back to us when you're inspired.
• In the guild, we believe in quality over quantity. We will not push you to post more than you can manage, and encourage you to take your time when working on a reply. If you ever feel pressured by another member to post, it is within your right to tell them to lay off.
• Participation in the OOC is required. Some important matters are discussed there, and we hate repeating ourselves.
❺ // CHARACTERS
- • Each member is allowed three characters max. This is to ensure that all characters are kept active and no guild member feels overwhelmed.
• RPC approval can be a long process. Moderators will not get around to approving characters the moment they're finished, so take your time with them. Don't hassle the crew. They will see to it that your character is approved in a timely fashion.
• When you create your character, be sure to post it in the RPC Server subforum. You will create a new thread titled: RPC Name [Clan]. Add (WIP) next to the title if you are still constructing the character. This tells the crew that your character is not ready to be reviewed. Add (W/A) next to title if you have completed the character and are waiting for approval.
• You MAY roleplay before a moderator has approved your character if your profile is completed and waiting for approval. However you will not be able to gain anything from the roleplaying you do prior to being approved. As such it is recommended to stick strictly to roleplaying in a storylike fashion if you choose to roleplay before your in waiting profile is approved.
• If it has taken more than 48 Hours for your profile to be looked at please PM the guild's Captain or Vice Captain asking for your profile to be looked at politely.
