Leddi's life was about to drastically change. She had accepted a roommate, only to find out that she had three kids. It wasn't that she disliked kids, not at all, but it was certainly something that had a way of making your life more complicated. Still, she was happy to finally have company in her large apartment. The place had been nearly empty the whole time since she was constantly working or studying. It would be better that someone could enjoy it more than she would. In fact, there was a part of her that was envious. She had never had the opportunity to really meet anyone that she wanted to have kids with, and now there was this huge hole in her heart when she realized she'd be spending the better part of her time with children that weren't hers.
The kids were still stones right now, but just looking at them made a longing inside of her that she never really knew she had. She could see the magic swelling inside of them and couldn't help but wonder what kind of children they'd be. Would they like her? Would they ignore her because she wasn't their family? The thought that they would want nothing to do with her weighed heavily on her, she couldn't bare the thought of such cute little things thinking she was no body, even if in the end all she was was just a roommate. Perhaps it was that thought alone that led her to the Stonebank. She was ready to do this. The thought of children made her realize how much she wanted one of her own, someone she could share stories and life with. Someone that wouldn't just be taken out of her life if there was a small argument. Someone that she'd be there for always and that would love her in return.
