Hailey buried her face against her stuffed animal's stomach again, yelling and screaming and pitching a total fit, accompanied by kicking feet. She had so many things to worry about in classes she actually cared about, so why would he yank the rug out from under her feet like that?!
It took a few more screams and a couple kicks to the ladder of her loft bed before she finally started to calm down. Or at least stopped kicking and screaming childishly like she was. She huffed and puffed as she worked to catch her breath, heart beating against her chest as she fought tears that were stinging at the corners of her eyes. If he wanted to help her do better in school, telling her he would help her study for exams and such just felt like total bullshit. She understood the materials, well for the most part, but she really just didn't care about the classes or the work! The creative arts were her passions! And if she didn't pass her normal classes... was there a chance she could lose the ones she actually gave a stupid flitterat's a** about? This was just unforgivable right now! She was just so angry that he would decide something like this was for her own good without talking to her about things before deciding it!
Tears welled up in her eyes again and she held the plushie against her chest, tight and close as she rolled over on her side. "Malachi... you're such a jerk. Thinking you can decide things for me like that when I need you to help me the most." Hailey sniffled and closed her eyes as she held to the toy for dear life. As if the world would fall right out from beneath her if she let go. "That jerk... I'll just nab his papers when he goes to bed..." and she continued grumbling about the injustice of it all.
