Personality: Typically very quiet and introverted outside of classes, Marylu generally appears to be calm in most cases, except for when somebody shows no effort in their work or does not seem properly prepared. This does not apply to people who are trying their best, but seem to be falling behind, in which case she will sometimes work with them patiently until they seem fine enough on their own or if they have received too much assistance.
Bio: Marylu was always a pretty quiet, even as a kid. Despite her silence however, she had a keen interest in sharing her own knowledge with others. It was only when she started to mature that she realized she didn't HAVE to be so secluded all the time. Nekos were generally a lot more outgoing and cheerful than she made them look.
She may not have been the best when it came to holding a conversation, or discussing personal opinions, but Marylu enjoyed learning new things and helping others learn the same. Once she was confident enough, she decided to take a shot at teaching. The way Marylu saw it, she may be able to boost her social side in such an environment full of knowledge and curiousity.

Strengths:
Prediction - Marylu is rather adept at being able to predict the movements of opponents, capable of leading less intelligent targets into her traps.
Mentally Strong - Marylu prefers a stronger mind over a stronger body, capable of somewhat resisting abilities that directly affect her mind.
Weaknesses:
Physically weak - She sees no real need for strength, because of this she is far more fragile and incapable of harming somebody physically.
Pacifist - Because of Marylu's dislike towards fighting, she will often hesitate to use her abilities, only resorting to them if she runs out of options
Over-tactical - Not very good at going with her instincts, Marylu must plan every move before she acts. This can easily leave her vulnerable in the meantime.
Slow Response - Her reactions are slow, meaning she will be an easy target for surprise attacks or quicker movements.
Abilities:
Lockdown
-Marylu is capable of sealing a single targets abilities for a short amount of time(From 30 seconds to 10 minutes). In order to cast this however, she needs time to focus on her target and cannot seal them if something is blocking her view. The time to cast effectively and the duration depend on the strength of her opponent (Physically stronger opponents will likely be able to break out of weaker seals, requiring a longer buildup to stop them)
Rune Placement
-Marylu can place down 3 types of Runes on a solid area near her and are triggered when somebody steps on them. Green Runes hold the intruder in place for a few seconds, Red Runes detonate for a small fiery explosion, Blue Runes slightly drain the intruder of their strength and agility for a single minute. Runes are placed via hand placement on said surface and are just wide enough for somebody to stand up straight inside one.
