The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first...
PostPosted: Wed Mar 02, 2016 12:59 am

The crowd was eagerly awaiting the next match on the card which would feature Omega defending his newly won Intercontinental Championship against the Voodoo Queen herself Dallas Cruz. After what happened between the two at the Rumble there was all kinds of Bad Blood ready to be spilled here tonight. The house lights darkened as a hush fell over the crowd As the sound of a music box began playing throughout the arena. Just then a voice could be heard singing softly

"This is what I brought you.
This you can keep.
This is what I brought,
You may forget me.
I promise to depart,
Just promise one thing,
Kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep."

As the verse ended the music box was replaced by the sound of Drums pounding as the stage lights began to flicker on and off in a soft blue light to the beat of the drums as the song continued. Slowly smoke began rising from the ramp way as the song was finally coming to an end yet no one appeared on stage. Just then the all too familiar sound of I Hope You Suffer by AFI echoed around the arena as the crowd got up off there seats in anger at the man who was finally emerging from behind the curtain. a single spotlight revealed it to be none other than the hated Intercontinental champion Omega. He stood on the ramp for a few seconds as he slowly unbuttoned his coat to reveal the IC Title wrapped around his waist. He unhooked it and raised it high into the air as he also decided to flip off the crowd in attendance to let them know what he thought of them for disrespecting him. He began walking down the ramp still holding the title up high for all to see as the crowd was jeering and booing this once beloved hero.

He made it to ringside and decided to circle the ring still holding his title up high before pausing in front of a fan who was shouting excessive profanities at him. Omega got in the mans face as security approached to seemingly try and deescalate the situation. Omega shoved the fan dropping him on his a** causing the fan to bolt up and try to jump onto Omega only to be stopped by Security. Omega flipped the fan off and proceeded to continue his parading around ringside.

"Ladies and gentleman the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the WWFG Intercontinental Championship. Introducing first, he hails from Anaheim, California weighing in tonight at 226lbs. He is the current reigning and defending Intercontinental Champion. He is 'The Messiah Of Lucha Libre', 'The Monochromatic Maniac' and 'The Junior Heavyweight Ace' this is OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMEGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!"

Omega climbed up on the turnbuckle and held the Championship up high as the crowd booed him even louder. He jumped down and into the ring before throwing his championship down on the mat. He walked over near a stage hand and demanded a microphone be given to him. It seems the new Champion was going to grace his audience with his eloquence and mastery of the spoken word.

Omega stood in the ring mic in hand as he motioned for the boys in the back to cut his music. He raised the mic to his lips but before he could speak the crowd erupted into a flurry of boos to silence him "That's right you inebriates boo me! Let me know how pathetic you all really are!" he shouted mockingly into the mic as the crowd responded in kind by booing even louder and even broke out into their new favorite chant for their once beloved Luchador "DIE OMEGA DIE!!!" Omega stood in the center of the ring and raised the mic up once more "Oh don't you all worry about that one day I'm going to and so will all of you and every person you have ever loved, but until that day you are all going to sit there, shut up, and listen to what I have to say!" he continued shouting in response to the crowd chanting such evil things at him.

He ran a hand through his hair as he usually does when he is trying to calm himself down "Now last Sunday was the Royal Rumble and the biggest news coming out of that event is that I am now your NEW Intercontinental Champion!" he spoke happily as the crowd once more broke out into boos at the clear ego Omega was displaying. "Now, a few other things happened during said event. My former flame and best friend Dallas Cruz returned and had the audacity to get in my face and act as if I wronged her! As if I ever did anything other than help her out! She has the gall to blame me for the actions of my brothers in arms The Inversions despite me not once ordering them or assisting them in attacking her?? She has the sheer disrespect for not only myself but our friendship and eliminates me from the Rumble?? I don't think so!!!" he shouted maniacally as the crowd was a bit more quiet given how erratic Omega was getting.

"So yeah, I went back in and eliminated her in kind and even continued to pay her back for how she treated me and yet you all have the nerve to act like she is the victim here?? Like she didn't bring this on herself?? Like she wasn't asking for it after the way she behaved?? Well guess what now she's gone! Done! Finished! Deleted! Erased! She has ran off with her tail tucked between her, admittedly nice a** hell, legs and there is nothing anyone can do about it." The mania Omega was going through just moments ago had seemingly began to subside as the crowd booed him again and chanted for Dallas wanting her to come out and beat him into next week.

"Chant all you want, she isn't coming back ever again. So since I made the strenuous effort to get out here how's about someone from the back come out here and face me, non-title match of course cause uh I just defended my title successfully and I'm not obligated to do it again for another 30 days. So come on chumps! Someone get put here right now!" Omega threw down the mic after his little tirade and waited for someone in the back to answer his challenge.

BOOM!

A thunderous crash followed after Omega tossed the microphone, shaking the entire arena with its force. The lights immediately flashed off from the shockwave, plunging Omega and the sea of spectators into darkness.

A moment of silence passed. A single moment, holding everyone in suspense. A moment that brought a chill to everyone's spine, as the temperature itself seemed to drop gradually. Perhaps it was the anticipation of what may come, perhaps it was the fear of darkness, or perhaps the air conditioning had just been triggered. Whatever it was...

... It cued the sound of a lone guitar, quietly strumming through the air. A sound that was all too familiar to every WWF:G fan, as it began to meld with the sound of falling rain. The eerie notes hung in the air, an omen for all.

The Storm was coming.

Short Change Hero - The Heavy

The titantron flickered on to display an image of storm clouds surging with electricity, filling the skies with their ominous light. The faint sound of war drums echoed through the air as the guitar continue to hum its lullaby. As the drum beat on, the fans were already roaring with approval into the darkness, excited the man that marched to the same beat.

But eventually, the titantron began to dim, and the guitar played its last note. The arena was left in silence once more; if one were to disregard the roaring fans, chomping at the bit to see what may follow. Their cheers wouldn't go unheard, and their answer would soon come with a single sound...

BOOM!!!

Another shockwave of thunder erupted through the air, but this one brought its mate with it: lightning. The bolt of energy struck the stage as the thunder boomed above. Dark blue lights flashed on, illuminating the arena and attempting to penetrate the thick layers of fog that had descended upon the stage, ramp, and ring-side area. The familiar music began to play again, as the camera zoomed in on the source of the fog: an opening at the center of the stage, with thick amounts of the haze billowing outward.

I can't see where you comin' from,
But I know just what you runnin' from.
And what matters ain't the "who's baddest" but,
The ones who stop you fallin' from your ladder, baby...

As the verse continued to hum over the sound of the thundering storm, a silhouette began to rise up from the center of the stage. The fans were still on their feet, screaming for the man who they assumed was hidden behind the thick veil of fog; but would they be correct? That's the question that truly needed answering.

And you feel like you're feelin' now,
Doin' things just to please your crowd.
But I love you like the way I love you,
And I suffer, but I ain't gonna cut you 'cause...

A spotlight flashed on and focused on the center of the stage, as the figure fully rose out of the fog. In a tattered hooded trenchcoat stood the man, the myth, the legend: The Storm. The hood hid the Hall of Famer's eyes from view, but his facial features gave him away; along with the weapon he had in his right hand. Tight in his grasp was the wooden handle to his legendary weapon, "The Punk-ville Slugger." It had indeed been reforged, now complete with a thick metal plate around the center of it. If it wasn't an intimidating weapon before, perhaps the addition of cold metal to it would change that.

As the chorus to his theme song began to play, Matt Shanahan slowly began to descend down the ramp, practically gliding his way through the thick haze.

This ain't no place for no hero.
This ain't no place for no better man.
This ain't no place for no hero to call "home."

This ain't no place for no hero.
This ain't no place for no better man.
This ain't no place for no hero to call "home."

On the last two lines of the chorus, a flash of lightning ripped across the roof of the arena, causing the dark-blue lighting to go out once more. The Storm didn't remotely pause in his wake tonight though. A loud bell chimed through the arena, sending chills through the air as the entrance seemed to only become more ominous.

Every time I close my eyes, I think,
I think about you inside.
And your mother, givin' up on askin' why -
Why you lie, and you cheat, and you try to make
A fool outta she...

Three more bells chimed as the bridge was sang through-out the arena. Each time, there was a quick flash of light to give the fans a split-second view of what was happening; Matt was still making his way to the ring. With each flash, he was closer. It was almost haunting to see the black-clad figure suddenly moving positions through the rain and darkness.

I can't see where you comin' from...

The drumbeat kicked back in on queue, the dark-blue lighting throughout the arena returning with it. Matt had shifted to stand at the steel steps, ascending up the platforms the moment the lights phased back in. He carried himself on the apron and stopped midway to step through the ropes, his trenchcoat dragging behind him. Once in the ring, he faced Omega with his head down to hide his face from view.

But I know just what you're runnin' from.
And what matters ain't the "who's baddest," but the
Ones who stop you fallin' from your ladder, 'cause...

Right before the chorus began, The Storm grabbed his hood with his right hand and tossed it back, revealing his clean shaven features to the world. With it, another booming thunder to echo through the arena; a lightning bolt followed and shot across the ceiling overhead as the lights flowed back into their normal, colorless hue.

One thing was certain: Matt didn't look injured anymore. The only signs of his previous injuries from last year's Wrestlemania was the long, thick scar that ran across the left side of his forehead. His eyes were as piercing as ever, the black pupils trained on Omega's every movement, as if analyzing him from the very start. The music continued to play as Matt's cold features remained trained on the Intercontinental Champion; his lips had grown a thick scowl, as if he was disgusted with what he was seeing.

The chorus played on as Matt dropped his weapon into his corner and slid his jacket off, revealing his thick torso, painted with a mixture of tattoos and scars. He tossed the torn trenchcoat to the outside.

The music faded away after The Storm had shed his trenchcoat, leaving the arena with the sight of Matt Shanahan and Omega, standing face to face. No one had expected to see the former Legacy Champion tonight, especially not against the Intercontinental Champion himself! Whatever drove Shanahan to answer the man's challenge, it was clear he wasn't here for fun. His face seemed to have a permanent scowl etched upon his features as he stared at his opponent of the evening. What had Omega done to anger The Storm?!

Omega had retreated to the outside of the ring as the lights had gone out during the first moments of Matt Shanahan's entrance, when he saw it was the man known as The Storm coming out he was beside himself! He expected some no name jobber or some stupid rookie to come out and accept his challenge not Matt Freaking Shanahan. "What the hell is he doing here?!?!?!?!? Wasn't he fired or retired or something?!?!?!?" he shouted at the referee as Matt was making his entrance down towards the ring. "This is unacceptable he can't be out here!! What does he have against me?? What is management thinking sending this psycho against their biggest box office draw????" he just kept shouting and harassing the ref trying to get some explanation about this whole situation but the ref just kept walking away warning him not to lay a hand on him or else he will be fined Thousands of Dollars.

The ref ordered Omega to get into the ring, but the champ was hesitant to do so. He had a good reason after all, Matt was a psychopath inside the ring and not only that he seemed pissed at Omega! He slowly climbed up on the apron and into the ring keeping his eyes on Matt as the ref called for the bell to be rung. The bell rang and the match was officially underway, Omega stayed in his corner still in disbelief that the man in front of him was really there.

The Storm's gaze followed Omega the entire time, while he was trying to get answers regarding the Hall of Famer's apperance. His cold, piercing stare followed the Intercontinental Champion every second, seemingly without a single blink to break his trance. Even as Omega climbed back into the ring though, Matt remained as still as a statute.

Then the bell rang.

Like a lightning bolt, Matt surged and went sprinting across the ring, aiming to plant Omega into his corner with a big boot!

Omega hadn't been paying attention to Matt due to his own disbelief that Matt had really returned here, ate the boot of The Storm causing him to fall forward and clutch his face from the pain he was experiencing
PostPosted: Sun Mar 06, 2016 1:39 pm

The force behind Matt's kick was enough to send Omega right down to the mat on impact! The Storm was never one to let up on his targets, and that was holding true as he attempted to rain down a series of stomps onto Omega's torso! He was going to feel the full force of nature's fury tonight!

Omega was holding his jaw on the ground thinking he had a reprieve but it was not to be as Matt delivered some hard stomps to his back, what kind of boots was this looney wearing?? Omega would try to escape by rolling out of the ring and trying to hide under it to get a break
PostPosted: Mon Mar 07, 2016 10:42 am

The referee was beginning to step between Matt and Omega, hoping to stop the vicious assault, when Omega managed to roll away and out of the ring. The fans booed, showing their disdain for the once great face of masked wrestling! The Storm snarled at the sight of Omega getting away under the rope and disappearing under the ring; that was territory that Shanahan had no business in.

Instead, The Storm began to pace around the ring area, his eyes scanning the outside, hoping to catch sight of Omega. Hopefully he'd catch sight of him before he was forced to search under the apron!

Omega stayed under the ring for a few seconds and then headed towards the side near the announce table. He popped his head out and quickly exited out towards the area where the Ring announcer was and grabbed his Intercontinental Championship. He grabbed the mic and looked directly at Matt "You know what? Screw this match, screw these fans, and screw you Matt! I'm taking my title and getting out of this Colony of Inbred hicks!" he shouted angrily into the mic as he threw it down and began walking away towards the ramp taking a second to Deliver a Hard Right Hand to a random fan in the front row as he just kept walking away.
PostPosted: Tue Mar 08, 2016 6:57 pm

Matt whipped around at the sound of Omega's voice booming over the sound system. As his words pierced through the air, the scowl returned to Matt's lips; he wasn't too happy with that response. The Storm immediately stormed over to the ropes and climb to the outside, landing on his feet just as Omega swung at the fan.

Either Omega would've spotted Matt, or he would've went unseen; he wasn't too sure how aware his opponent was. Either way, The Storm would surge after Omega and chase him if he began to run; if he didn't, he would attempt to floor him to the mats with a vicious clothesline to the back of the head!

Omega was too busy smacking around the fan to notice that Matt had decided to give chase towards him, good guys amirite?? His carelessness would cost him as he was dropped down hard by the Clothesline sending him Face first into the Steel Rampway
PostPosted: Wed Mar 09, 2016 1:33 am

The referee's count had begun, thus signaling the potential end to the match. The Storm tuned it out though, his focus clearly set on the man he had just sent down to the base of the ramp. He would reach down with one of those monstrous hands and attempt to pull him back up to his feet by his mask. If successful, he'd attempt to grab him by the throat, and fling him towards the apron!

Omega was hurting real bad, but before he could even breathe he felt a giant meaty hand on his head! He squirmed a bit before getting grabbed by the throat and thrown towards the ring apron. He fell back first onto the ground and winced in pain as he tried pleading with Matt to spare him and just let him go
