His morning began with a meow and a pounce as Ace took exception to him having still been in bed. Normally the munchkin didn't care one way or another but sometime during the night the silly kitten had managed to shut the bedroom door, leaving him trapped in the room. This of course was just not done when he could hear his food being set up down stairs. so with a sleepy grumble Terry got out of bed to let the kitten out of his room. Once that was done he looked at the clock and figured it would still be half an hour or so before breakfast so he gathered up his clothes for the day and went to take a shower.

Once he was clean and changed he went back into his room and booted up his laptop as he brushed his wet hair out. Soon he was putting the brush down and checking his e-mail, idly deleting the junk so he could look though the more important ones with out any problems. At least he had been until he came across an e-mail that was advertising flowers for Valentines Day. Suddenly the day before was at the forefront of his mind and he got a smile on his face.

He had a boyfriend.

Seung was his boyfriend.

He sat there for a few moments as that sunk in only for the anxiety of the night before to start creeping in again. He pushed his chair away from his desk slightly and turned so he could look out into his room, though he wasn't really seeing it. The worry that he would fall back to his normal habits of keeping most people at arms length only to drive Seung away was once again the main worry running in his head.

He took a few deep breaths then ran a hand through his damp hair as he tried to sort out everything running through his mind and try to approach it from a more logical stand point then the panic he had the night before.

Fact, all of his previous relationships had failed because he disliked touching.

Fact, he has no problem when it comes to his family and touching, in fact he welcomes hugs and other casual touches from them.

Fact, he had not once truly pulled away from Seung when it came to touching, even when they had first met.

His tiny mental list done, he spun in his chair a couple of times as he tried to puzzle over just how it all fit together. Obviously something about Seung made him slip passed his normal reactions. But what was it? What made Seung different that Terry didn't have any problems being cuddled or cuddling him? He kept spinning in his chair before he put his foot down to stop abruptly, ending up staring directly at a picture of his family and himself years ago when they were enjoying a day at the park. As he stared at it a realization slowly crept into his head.

From the moment that he had met Seung as Venice, somehow, in some way, he had managed to fit into a category that before only his family had been in.

Seung felt safe.
