 This here is Sanjan Reed, the god's cousin! heart (Owned by Lexi_Perplexi) Prompt 1 Well, this absolute sourpuss seems like he's awfully determined to ruin the fun of Valentine's Day! And his cousin doesn't seem too thrilled by this and tries to talk him out of it. Does he agree to back off or does he choose to ignore Sanjan and continue breaking hearts? Prompt 2 This god's cousin is a demi-god that heals heartbreak, which is the god's domain. How does this god feel about that? Does he hate Sanjan? Does he like that Sanjan heals hearts that he can then break all over again? Prompt: 2-This god's cousin is a demi-god that heals heartbreak, which is the god's domain. How does this god feel about that? Does he hate Sanjan? Does he like that Sanjan heals hearts that he can then break all over again?
Delano huffed at his cousin he found that his cousins skill to heal broken hearts that he had created, was annoying, unpleasant and not something he was too crazy about constantly recurring around him. He shook his head in dismay and exasperation of his cousin's skill. He found it quite pleasurable in breaking hearts for his own entertainment and he loved watching them suffer.
On the bright side the more his cousin healed the broken hearts the more oppurtunities he got to break them again and continue the cycle. He didn't necessarily find it something he hated his cousin for, he knew it was something Sanjan was good at. The word hate was such a strong word and no matter the difference between the two they were still family, even though as annoying as his cousin was with his healing of hearts, it was something that made Sanjan who he was. A relative who drove this god mad, even though it was normal.
In truth, he enjoyed Sanjan's skill, but of course he would never ever openly tell that to his cousin, no doubt Sanjan would get a hoot out of that. He grinned devilishly as his cousin healed his most recent heartbreak. You could say the god was both amused and annoyed. In retrospect some would say that Delano and Sanjan had a love-hate relationship.

Prompt: 3 sorta spring boarding off of 2 but going weird places. -w-;
Hate is a strong word

Simin smirked the song had a certain ring to it, and reminded him of exactly how he felt about his lovesick cousin. Always talking about how love is the best thing ever, and how Simin was such a terrible god for being the one who came along and invested interest in heartbreak. It was often vexing how his cousin assumed that heartbreak was a terrible thing.
That was what made Simin the most sour about his domain, the fact that one of his kin was so utterly determined to keep there from being broken hearts. Broken hearts were a fact of life. First loves did not often work out, and unrequited love often ended in heartbreak through rejection. But each break of the heart was something miraculous. It could either break the holder of the heart completely, or it could make them stronger, more understanding. Those who'd never suffered heartbreak just didn't understand the true nature of it.
Simin had been heartbroken himself, when his first love had died. So he understood, heartbreak was necessary. It was just another factor of life, another thing that continued the cycle.
He snorted, feeling like Valentines day was one of the worst days ever. Yes, some people would find love, and others would be cruelly rejected, heartbroken, and his irritating cousin would blame him. It's not as though he had to do it on purpose, not even as though he had to forcefully break anyone up, they would after all do it themselves.
He smirked to himself. There were, as with any deity's domain perks. Getting to forcefully break the heart of some jackass who'd left a trail of tattered emotions was something he reveled in. It was a small joy he could take in when someone who'd hurt so many finally got hurt themselves. However, as with anything the double edged sword of heartbreak more often than not cut deeply into the innocence of youth.
Romantic heartbreak, familial heartbreak, friendly heartbreak, all of it was his domain, and he wasn't sure his cousin understood that it was just a domain that needed to be tended to, and he was the best one to do it. He rolled his eyes, and just because he enjoyed his job was no reason for the little snot to assume he was a sourpuss.
He snorted, "A heart never broken, does not know compassion for the strife of others." And though he'd thought about taking the day off, he decided that he would simply have to continue on wards with his work, in spite of his cousin's desire to see him leave the 'lovebirds' alone.

Dolorem prowled along the lines of his realm watching is cousin heal the hearts he has worked so hard to break. It was disgusting. What was the point? Mortals were so fragile, so wavering in their affections. Love was fleeting like the changing of the seasons. Having a broken heart made them stronger, able to survive the harsh reality of the world. If they couldn’t survive the heartbreak, then they were simply too weak.
Valentines Day was bittersweet. On one hand it was sickening how much lovey dovey crap went on and all that ridiculous heart healing . On the other hand there were more people vulnerable to heartbreak. A prim buffet of the weak and distraught.
When Sanjan tried to reason with him Dolorem laughed at his cousin and shook his head. “ Look, let’s just say there is a divine balance to the world. You try your best to repair those sad , weak little hearts, and I will break the m. I won’t stop you from doing what you do, but don’t get in the way of mine ok?”

It was ridiculous and amusing. The god flicked his tail and gave a dramatic roll of his eyes as his cousin 'fixed' another one of his personal projects. Really. The god gave a yawn to show just how bothered by the whole thing he was. Sanjan could do his best, but he obviously didn't see the futility of his actions. As the hearts were healed, they would only be broken again. Whether or not they found love again, thee would always be something to tear the fragile things apart. Nothing was built to last.
Truth be told, his cousin couldn't see the value in the work he did. Amedee didn't hold it against him. He could only do so much with his mortal blood to hold him back. It was a shame, really. In tandem, they could do so much! The world ran in cycles of love, lust, and pain. Smaller cycles built into larger ones, it was a sight to behold. If those silly mortals learned from their pain, they could only come out stronger for it, ready to face the cycle as it turned about again.
If his cousin wanted to think he hated him, well, it would certainly be more fun to let him think that. Maybe he could even get the pipsqueek to get bitter and angry about it. It certainly sounded like a fun game to play. A smirk bloomed on his face as he pondered the possibilities. It seemed like he might have a new project to work on.
